  • In the present article, we introduce the concepts of strongly asymptotically lacunary equivalence, asymptotically statistical equivalence, and asymptotically lacunary statistical equivalence for sequences in g-metric spaces. We investigate some properties and relationships among these new concepts.

  • Some convergence theorems of modified Ishikawa and Mann iteration processes with errors for asymptotically pseudo-contractive and asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces are obtained. The results presented in this paper improve and extend the corresponding results in Liu [7] and Schu [10].

  • In this paper, mappings which are asymptotically pseudo-contractive in the intermediate sense are considered based on a hybrid projection method. Strong convergence theorems of fixed points are established in the framework of Hilbert spaces.

  • The purpose of this paper is to study the necessary and sufficient conditions for the sequences of Ishikawa iterative sequences with mixed errors of asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive type mappings in Banach spaces to converge to a fixed point in Banach spaces. The results presented in this paper extend and improve the corresponding results of[l-4, 7-9].

  • In this paper, the weak laws of large numbers for sums of asymptotically almost negatively associated random vectors in Hilbert spaces are investigated. Some results in Hien and Thanh ([3]) are generalized to asymptotically almost negatively random vectors in Hilbert space.

  • In this paper, we consider the hybrid monotone projection algorithm for asymptotically quasi-pseudocontractive mappings. A strong convergence theorem is established in the framework of Hilbert spaces. Our results mainly improve the corresponding results announced by [H. Zhou, Demiclosedness principle with applications for asymptotically pseudo-contractions in Hilbert spaces, Nonlinear Anal. 70 (2009) 3140-3145] and also include Kim and Xu [T.H. Kim, H.K. Xu, Strong convergence of modified Mann iterations for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings and semigroups, Nonlinear Anal. 64 (2006) 1140-1152; Convergence of the modified Mann's iteration method for asymptotically strict pseudo-contractions, Nonlinear Anal. 68 (2008) 2828-2836] as special cases.

  • In this paper, the necessary and sufficient conditions for the strong convergence of a modified Mann iteration process to a fixed point of an asymptotically demicontractive mapping in real Banach spaces are considered. Presented results improve and extend the results of Igbokwe [3], Liu [4], Moore and Nnoli [6] and Osilike [7].
