Use of forearm and hip joint bone density scan and find the clinical usefulness of the results that can be inferred as a result of any other region sites injured by a correction factor which if One part up. Groups of 60 patients, 10 patients by age 20-70 were composed of patients measured with the forearm and lumbar spine bone mineral density T-score and Z-score of the survey for each of the three factors that it was Find the correction factor to obtain the relationship. Bone mineral density of the correlation coefficient R = 0.8 correction factor is Y = 1.341X + 0.146. T-score of correlation coefficient R = 0.804 and the correction factor Y = 0.565X - 0.327 is Z-score of the correlation coefficient R = 0.637 correction factor Y = 0.539X - 0.225. It is regarded that there will be a clinical availability which can analogize the result of a part by using the result of the other part. It will be able to determine an auxiliary role in the clinical diagnosis. Correction factor to the equation Y = 1.341X + 0.146 is recommended.
This is about the scientific analysis of the 10 items of the gilt-bronze Panbul excavated from Anapji, Gyeongju. First, the composition of the Panbul was confirmed, using X-ray fluorescence spectrometer (XRF), and the patinas covering the surface of the Panbul were analyzed, using X-ray diffractometer (XRD). And the micro structures and gilt layer of the Panbul were investigated, using microscope and scanning electron microscope with energy dispersive spectrometer (SEM/EDS), and in order to investigate the internal conditions of the Panbul, X-radiography was conducted. As the result, it is found out that the material of the Panbul excavated from Anapji was the bronze of copper (86~95%) and tin (4~12%), and coated with gold. And cuprite (Cu2O) was detected from red patina of the gilt-bronze Panbul, and chalcocite(Cu2S) also was detected from the black patina. As the result of the observation of the micro structure through microscope, it is estimated that it was manufactured, using the wax molding method, and, judging from the fact that the thickness of gilt layer was not even, and that the groove had been filled, it was presumed that the amalgam coating method had been used, but some questions still remain, because mercury was not detected. Lastly, through the X-radiography, it was observed that the tiny round spots existed, which was presumed to have been generated during the casting.

The Purposes of this study were to understand the types of appellations used by nurses and doctors for patients in a hospital and to analyze satisfaction and reason about appellation for patient. This would enable us to provide basic data on culturally suitable appellations for admitted patients. 454 patients at K University hospital in Seoul were subjects for this study. Subjects were interviewed individually using a questionnair and frequency $X^2-test$. Results are as follows. 1. The most frequently used type of appellations in hospitals was '-ssi ; -sir' used by 88.1% of the nurses and 83.9% of the doctors. About 3 quaters of the medical staff used '-ssi' while none used job position. 2. 93.2% of the patients were satisfied with the appellations used by nurses and 93.0% of the patients were satisfied with the appellations used by the doctors 43.7% didn't think appellations were important and 44.3% thought it natural to use the appellation. The most satisfactory form of appellation used by nurses was '-ssi' to 93.3% of patients. All were satisfied with '-nim ; -sir', '-teacher' and there was no statistically significance. On the other hand, the level of satisfaction and the appellation used by doctors showed a relationship($X^2=19.72$, p=.000). Every patient was satisfied with '-nim' and '-teacher' but 19.9% were dissatisfied with the others of appellations. 3. Most patients preferred to be called '-ssi' by nurses(77.3%) and doctors(78.7%) respectively. The dominant reason being accuracy(45.8%), naturalness(33.9%) for nurses and 43.8% and 45.4% respectively for doctors. 4. The relationship between the type of appellations requested of nurses and general characteristics showed that age($X^2=83.91%$ p=.000), level of education($X^2=33.35$ p=.000), and occupation($X^2=38.22$ p=.033) were related to the type of appellation. The type of appellation requested of doctors was related to the age($X^2=72.56$ p=.000), level of education($X^2=30.01$ p=.000), and occupation($X^2$=42.90 p=.010). Generally, '-ssi' was requested of doctors and nurses, but lower age group or higher age group(over 61), those in elementary schools or elementary school graduates snd students preferred being called by their first names or grandfather, grandmother. From the results above, we can see that the most general type of appellation used for patients by the medical staff is '-ssi' and most patients were satisfied with the appellation but, the reason being that such appellations were accepted without concern. This shows that most are not adequately satisfied with the appellation. Only a small number of people use '-nim' and '-teacher' but is the preferred and frequently used types of appellation. Therfore, a continuous research of appellations used for patients with patients using '-nim' and an investigation with nurses' opinions of appellations for patients as the subject are required.

The fundamental experiments for measuring soft x-ray characteristics from the vacuum capillary are described. These experiments were primarily performed in order to generate line spectra such as x-ray lasers. The generator consists of a high-voltage power supply, a polarity-inversion ignitron pulse generator, a turbo-molecular pump, and a radiation tube with a capillary. A high-voltage condenser of 200 nF in the pulse generator is charged up to 20 kV by the power supply, and the electric charges in the condenser are discharged to the capillary in the tube after closing the ignitron. During the discharge, weakly ionized plasma forms on the inner and outer sides of a capillary. In the present work, the pump evacuates air from the tube with a pressure of about 1 mPa, and a demountable capillary was developed in order to measure x-ray spectra according to changes in the capillary length. In this capillary, the anode (target) and cathode elements can be changed corresponding to the objectives. The capillary diameter is 2.0 mm, and the length is adjusted from 1 to 50 mm. When a capillary with aluminum anode and cathode electrodes was employed, both the cathode voltage and the discharge current almost displayed damped oscillations. The peak values of the voltage and current increased when the charging voltage was increased, and their maximum values were -10.8 kV and 4.7 kA, respectively. The x-ray durations observed by a 1.6 ${\mu}$m aluminum filter were less than 30 ${\mu}$s, and we detected the aluminum characteristic x-ray intensity using a 6.8 ${\mu}$m aluminum filter. In the spectrum measurement, two sets of aluminum and titanium electrodes were employed, and we observed multi-line spectra. The line photon energies seldom varied according to changes in the condenser charging voltage and to changes in the electrode element. In the case where the titanium electrode was employed, the line number decreased with corresponding decreases in the capillary length. Compared with incoherent visible light, these rays from the capillary were diffracted and diffused greatly after passing through two slits.
Damages caused by infection with Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), Lily mottle virus (LMoV) and Lily symptomless virus (LSV) were assessed by comparing growth of plants produced from seeds of Lilium x fomolongi cultivar 'Noesan' both infected and free from infection with those viruses. Symptoms and infection rate were investigated in field-grown lily.Dominant viral infection symptom in the field was mottle on leaves, caused by natural infection with LMoV. Incidence of viral disease caused by mixed infection with two of LMoV, CMV and LSV in field-grown Lilium x fomolongi cultivars, reused for more than 6 years consecutively, was 80 percent. In comparison with healthy Lilium x fomolongi cultivar 'Noesan', plants doubly infected with CMV-Li1 and LMoV-Li diminished their plant height by 14 percent, fresh weight by 38 percent, and flower length by 15 percent. Lily plants singly infected with CMV-Li1 or LMoV-Li significantly reduced their freish weight by 21.8% and 28.4% compared to healthy plants, respectively.
The formation of $Co_nTiO_{n+2}$ compounds, i.e., $CoTiO_3$ and $CO_2TiO_4$, in a 5wt% $CoO_x/TiO_2$ catalyst after calcination at different temperatures has been characterized via scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Raman and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) measurements to verify our earlier model associated with $CO_3O_4$ nanoparticles present in the catalyst, and laboratory-synthesized $Co_nTiO_{n+2}$ chemicals have been employed to directly measure their activity profiles for CO oxidation at $100^{\circ}C$. SEM measurements with the synthetic $CoTiO_3$ and $CO_2TiO_4$ gave the respective tetragonal and rhombohedral morphology structures, in good agreement with the earlier XRD results. Weak Raman peaks at 239, 267 and 336 $cm^{-1}$ appeared on 5wt% $CoO_x/TiO_2$ after calcination at $570^{\circ}C$ but not on the catalyst calcined at $450^{\circ}C$, and these peaks were observed for the $Co_nTiO_{n+2}$ compounds, particularly $CoTiO_3$. All samples of the two cobalt titanate possessed O ls XPS spectra comprised of strong peaks at $530.0{\pm}0.1$ eV with a shoulder at a 532.2-eV binding energy. The O ls structure at binding energies near 530.0 eV was shown for a sample of 5 wt% $CoO_x/TiO_2$, irrespective to calcination temperature. The noticeable difference between the catalyst calcined at 450 and $570^{\circ}C$ is the 532.2 eV shoulder which was indicative of the formation of the $Co_nTiO_{n+2}$ compounds in the catalyst. No long-life activity maintenance of the synthetic $Co_nTiO_{n+2}$ compounds for CO oxidation at $100^{\circ}C$ was a good vehicle to strongly sup port the reason why the supported $CoO_x$ catalyst after calcination at $570^{\circ}C$ had been practically inactive for the oxidation reaction in our previous study; consequently, the earlier proposed model for the $CO_3O_4$ nanoparticles existing with the catalyst following calcination at different temperatures is very consistent with the characterization results and activity measurements with the cobalt titanates.

To investigate the effect of niobium and tin on the mechanical properties of zirconium alloys, the tensile test and the microstructural analysis were performed on the Zr-based binary(Zr-xNb, Zr-xSn) and ternary(Zr-0.8Sn-xNb, Zr-0.4Nb-xSn) alloys. As the content of Nb or Sn element increased, the strengths of the Zr-based alloys tended to gradually increase. The increase of mechanical strength was remarkable strength was remarkable in the range more than the solubility of Nb and Sn. The strengthening effects were discussed on the basis of the solid solution hardening, the precipitate hardening, the grain size effect, and the texture effect. The mechanical strength is mainly controlled by the solid solution hardening and additionally by the precipitate hardening in the content more than solubility limit of Nb and Sn. The grain refinement also has a slight effect on the strength of the zirconium alloys with the addition of Nb and Sn. However, the texture effect can be excluded due to the same Kearns number regardless of the content of alloying elements.
The results of performing first survey after learning linear equation and second survey after 5 months to find out whether there is change in solving process while seventh grade students solve linear equations are as follows. First, as a result of performing McNemar Test in order to find out the correct answer ratio between first survey and second survey, it was shown as $p=.035^a$ in problem x+4=9 and $p=.012^a$ in problem $x+\frac{1}{4}=\frac{2}{3}$ of problem type A while being shown as $p=.012^a$ in problem x+3=8 and $p=.035^a$ in problem 5(x+2)=20 of problem type B. Second, while there were students not making errors in the second survey among students who made errors in the solving process of problem type A and B, students making errors in the second survey among the students who expressed the solving process correctly in the first survey were shown. Third, while there were students expressing the solving process of linear equation correctly for all problems (type A, type B and type C), there were students expressing several problems correctly and unable to do so for several problems. In conclusion, even if a student has expressed the solving process correctly on all problems, it would be difficult to foresee that the student is able to express properly in the solving process when another problem is given. According to the result of analyzing the reaction of students toward three problem types (type A, type B and type C), it is possible to determine whether a certain student is 'able' or 'unable' to express the solving process of linear equation by analyzing the problem solving process.
The melanin pigment in human skin is a major defense mechanism against ultraviolet light to the skin, but darken skin color. Tyrosinase is mainly responsible for melanin biosynthesis (melanogenesis) in animals and enzymatic browning (melanosis) in plants. The purpose of this study was to optimize the fermented milk process for the melanin formation inhibition by using Lactobacillus plantarum M23 with tyrosinase inhibitory activity. We used 4-factor-3-level central composite design combining with response surface methodology. Yeast extract concentration (%, $X_1$), addition of grape (%, $X_2$), incubation temperature ($^{\circ}C$, $X_3$) and incubation time (h, $X_4$) was used as an independent factor, on the other hand, pH (pH, $Y_1$), overall palatability (score, $Y_2$) and tyrosinase inhibitory activity (%, $Y_3$) was used as a dependant factor. Based on the optimization for the highest tyrosinase inhibitory activity with pH 4.4, the expected data of pH, palatability and tyrosinase inhibitory activity with 14.8 h incubation at $37.1^{\circ}C$ by the addition of 0.127% of yeast extract, 2.95% of grape was 4.42, 7.06 and 86.65%, but the real data was 4.35, 6.86 and 84.05%, respectively. Based on the previous results, fermented milk using Lactobacillus plantarum M23 with the tyrosinase inhibitory activity could contribute for the whitening and antiaging of human skin.
