Objectives : This study was conducted during the period from August 30 to September 9, 2011 in order to survey difference in the general perception of medical market opening and factors related to the choice of foreign hospitals among dental hygiene and nursing students at universities in Seoul. Methods : For this purpose, 438 students were surveyed using a questionnaire and collected data were analyzed using SPSSWIN 18.0. Conclusions drawn from this study are as follows. Results : 1. With regard to dental hygiene and nursing students' perception of medical market opening according to general characteristics, significant difference was not observed according to gender, experience in working at a hospital, medical institution used, and the frequency of using medical institutions, but significant difference was observed according to department, and interest in healthcare-related news. 2. There was significant difference in dental hygiene and nursing students'pro/con attitude toward medical market opening, but not in gender, experience in working at a hospital, medical institution used, and the frequency of using medical institutions. 3. With regard to intention to visit and revisit foreign hospitals, there was significant difference between dental hygiene and nursing students in intention to visit but not in intention to revisit. Conclusions : The results of this study suggest that more research on the medical market opening portion dental hygiene and nursing students' perception and attitude did not differ significantly, so the more accurate and open markets for a variety of medical education and school education and a variety of materials through hands-on experience be grasped should allow. Furthermore, students' acquisition of accurate prior knowledge about medical market opening is expected to be helpful to activate their employment in overseas.

Purpose : This study aimed at understanding the lived experience of new graduate nurse in hospital setting.Method : This study was based on a phenomenological approach. For this study, 8 new graduate nurses participated. The unstructured in-depth interviews were carried out from June to October, 1998. The data was analyzed Van Kaam's method.Results : Clinical new graduate nurses experienced clinical adaptation and endeavor, professional conflict of nursing, disability of nursing performance, work stress and management, maladaptation of human relationships, diverse emotions of interpersonal relationships, change of personal identity, difference between theory and reality of nursing.Clinical adaptation and endeavor included to get familiar with hospital life, satisfaction and worth for nursing, to get familiar with scoldings, calm down by oneself, efforts for self-development. Professional conflicts of nursing included future uncertainties in the hospital, dissatisfactions in work, doubts and regrets in nursing.Disability of nursing performance included lack of knowledges and skills, desolate working, stresses from mistake in working. Work stress and management included psychological signs and symptoms, physical signs and symptoms, management of stress. Maladaptation of human relationships included unsuitabilities in nursing unit climate, difficulties in human relationship. Diverse emotions of interpersonal relationships included regrets and absurdities to clients, thanks and regrets to colleagues, difficulties with doctors, sense of rivalry with colleague nurses. Change of personal identity included to become narrowing life circle, change of personality. The differences between theoretical knowledge and practice included needs of systematic pre-education for clinical nursing practice, differences between nursing educations and clinical practices.Conclusion : Therefore, the human resource management reflecting new graduate nurses' experiences should be developed.

Necessity for the guidebook of occupational health nursing practice has been perceived by our OH research members since the health management of small scale enterprises(SSE) was controlled by law. Mean-while, developing the OH manual, our team found that the work situation of occupational health nursing(OHN) services should be prior to the construction of the OHN manual. This procedure was regarded as helpful for producing the OH manual which is fitting to the Korean nursing circumstances. Thus, this study was planned and carried out. The study aimed to find out current situation of work performance on occupational health nursing practice perceived by nurses working for health management of SSE. Questionnaire was distributed to the OH nurses working in the 55 group occupational health service(GOHS) agencies throughout the Korea from January to March in 1997. Ninety-seven nurses of the 31 GOHS agencies responded. Descriptive statistics was used in the SAS programme. Four nurses participated to select nursing area investigated in the study. Those area were 'document', 'job orientation', 'OH reference', 'nursing theory', 'group health education', 'health examination', 'work dilemma', 'approach attitude', 'workplace visit', 'health promotion' and 'communication'. Results can be summarized as follow : Types of document were mentioned diversely depending on the GOHS agencies. Job orientation was seen to be performed by nurses in 56% among the 75.3% nurses responded. Sixty five percents of nurses agreed to apply nursing theories into the OH with lack of knowledge on them. Health screening and health education were responded as commonly provided nursing activities with various nursing obstacles as well as indicated in the area of 'work dilemma', 'approach attitude', 'workplace visit', 'health promotion'.

Objective : This study investigates correlations between job-stress and job-relation feture in occupational therapists in nursing home. Method : For this study, self-reported questionnaires were distributed by online and offline survey to 237 occupational therapist from May to June in 2012. Fifty two of the questionnaires were returned, acceptable 46 survey responses were analyzed, expect 6 unclearly answered. Result : The results correlations between the 6 job-stress factors(confliction of professional role, lack of professional knowledge and skills, problem of personal relationship, disagreement with predecessor(manager, chief, etc), limitation of medical system, inappropriate salary) and 4 job-relation feature(period of job, annual salary, work out of therapy, job stability). Conclusion : This study demonstrates correlations between job-stress factors and job-relation feature in occupational therapist working in nursing home. Job-stress average 3.52points of 5points contributes more affecting the stress. Further research is necessary to more sample occupational therapist in nursing home.
The purpose of this study was to get an information on hotel cook. So the food and beverage (F and B) enterprise is one of the most promising industry on post-industry society, and the cook is real agent to lead the F and B enterprise, we need to have a data, information and knowledge on cook to improve a culinary art training program and working environment. This study was surveyed by 216 cook to work for deluxe hotels at Pusan. The results were summarized as follows: 1. The almost cook worked with restaurant for $8{\sim}9$ hours/day, and a half of cook earned a million won in a month. A higher grade cook worked longer hours and earned more money than a lower grade one. 2. The most popular workplace of the cook was Western restaurant, the male cook working at a Western restaurant were more than female, the more female cook and novices worked at a Korean restaurant. 3. The most popular qualification that the cook take were a western culinary art one, and next were Korean one and Japanese one. The 77.8% cook worked at the place that fitted in with their culinary art qulification. 4. A half of cook insisted that they were a expert of western culinary art, and the next was the Korean, Japanese one in order. 5. The cook were unsatisfied with pay, work environment, human relation and promotion, and if they change their workplace, a lot of cook wished to manage their own restaurant. 6. The 63.4% of cook changed their workplace more than a time. The male cook got a more chance to change workplace than female one. The higher grade cook got a more chance to charge workplace. Almost cook got a no chance to study a culinary art at overseas. The most favorite place that the cook want to visit for studying was Europe, and next were Japan, America, Southeast Asia in order.

Background & Objectives: Health management is performed at enterprises under the Industrial Safety and Health Act. At small and mid sized enterprises, the reality is that health management is poorly performed due to the shortage of resources, professional knowledge, and administrative capabilities, as well as the lack of recognition by company presidents, and generation difference. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to Provide basic materials to complement the future health management model by researching the extent of performing health-related tasks at small and mid sized enterprises and analyzing the related factors. Methods: The survey subjects were 130 small and mid sized enterprises nationwide which had received health management support from the Korean government. The data were collected using a systematic questionnaire at the companies from September 2005 to November 2005. The respondents were the Personnel for healthcare tasks. Results: The results indicate that the extent of performing health management tasks at the companies was significantly different in the working environment and task management field in terms of industry types and in the fields of the establishment of an industrial health system as well as working environments and task management in terms of regions. Also, a multiple regression analysis was performed step-by-step in order to research the factors that affect the execution of health management tasks at small and mid sized enterprises.
This study was carried out to investigate awareness and attitude of monitors in 206 small sized industries in Seoul and Kyeonggi area toward the occupational health programs using a specially prepared questionnaire. The industries had been running Government-Funded Subsidiary Program since 1998. The questionnaire was designed to be self-administered by respondents. Data were collected for two months from November to December, 1998. Major results are as follows: 1. Between two groups of industries, there were no significant differences in classification, scale, methods of production, existence of trade union, but in type of working pattern and facility ownership there were significant differences. 2. Between two groups of monitors, there were no significant differences in gender, age, marital status, rank, years of education, but in duration of working there was a significant difference. 3. In awareness and attitude of monitors toward their activities and occupational health programs, there was no significant difference by groups of industries, but a significant difference by type and scale of industry, gender, age, years of education 4. It was found that newly subsidized industries were more necessary to provide education programs on occupational health than old industries, and there was a significant difference between two groups of industries in the contents of education needed. In conclusion, it is desirable that the government should develop specific training programs for monitors on occupational health to provide them practical knowledge and specific skills which monitors can apply to their specific situation, and implement the training programs and continue Government-Funded Subsidiary Program for years until small scale industries would have been able to develop and keep their own health management system spontaneously.
The purpose of the study was to implement and evaluate a nutrition capacity training program for dietitians and other professionals working at customized home visiting health services (CHVHS). This program focused on nutrition services for hypertension or diabetes mellitus patients including topics regarding CHVHS, and composed of 10 sessions with lectures, discussion and practice. Dietitians (n = 54) and other professionals (n = 20) participated in the program and completed the questionnaire to assess their understanding of nutritional management, nutrition services and CHVHS before and after the program, and to examine program satisfaction and education needs. Subjects were mostly women (98.6%) and college or university graduates (93.2%). Total score (p < 0.001), as well as all items (p < 0.001 or p < 0.01) of understanding regarding nutritional management, nutrition services and CHVHS, were significantly increased after the program both in dietitians and in other professionals. Subjects were generally satisfied with the program, showing more satisfaction with items regarding subject's participation, acquiring new knowledge, usefulness of the program for CHVHS, and education materials. In future nutrition capacity training programs, subjects wanted to have classes regarding nutrition services for specific chronic diseases, development of education materials, methods for dietary life education, modifying eating habits and so on. Other professionals compared to dietitians, showed higher education needs in meal management (p < 0.01) and nutrition counseling skills (p < 0.05). This study showed the effectiveness of a nutrition capacity training program for home-visiting dietitians and other professionals, and suggests the need and direction for future nutrition capacity training programs.

I think it is necessary to know about knowledge of medical, so this study is given some space to structure of spine, cause of herniated disc disease, role of disc, methods of classification of disable (McBride method and AMA method), and spine disability stage. disc surgery is divided laparoscope disc surgery and spine surgery. I analysis it some factors- gender, age, occupation, re-surgery, and state of after surgery - through searching medical papers. I suggest below conclusion to underwriter because it can be useful to make questionnaire, and underwriter can expect prognosis. conclusion The negative factors of disc surgery (compare to other cases) were as follows: 1. endoscope disc surgery: $20{\sim}40year$ old man, hospitalization period more than 5 days. 2. spine surgery: $45{\sim}70year$ old woman, hospitalization period more than 15 days. 3. re-surgery experience: exist 4. working condition: a person who draws a small income, non-regular worker, working period is less than 1 year. 5. method of surgery: pedicle screw fixation. spine fusion surgery, artificial disc surgery. 6. post surgery condition: appearance of muscle weakness, paralysis, reference pain, lordosis, kyphosis, and complication. smoker or take a drink.
