해석 시간 저감을 위한 전기 권선의 FEM 등가 권선법 (A Study on FEM Equivalent Winding Method for Reducing Analysis Time)

  • 2D FEM은 3D FEM에 비하여 모델 및 조건을 간소화하여 해석할 수 있다. 하지만 코일의 조건에 대하여는 실제 코일의 인입과 반출을 순차적으로 구성하여 해석 조건에 입력하는 경우가 많다. 본 논문은 다수의 슬롯을 가지더라도 하나의 FEM Coil로 구성한 등가 권선법을 적용하여 코일 조건의 단순화 및 해석 시간의 단축을 나타내고 권선형 마그네틱 기어에 적용하여 결과의 일치성을 보인다.

  • The present study is concemed with the design of high pressure container reinforced by winding wire used as a die component in cold forming of metals. The stress analysis for the design of high pressure container has been made under an optimal design criterion. The wire-winding equipment and the tension control unit according to the theoretical winding force are installed. The circumferential stresses at the inner wall of die housing are measured every turn of wire-winding. The measure stresses are in good agreement with the analytically predicted ones.

  • Investigated about topology of each component of transformer and material choice method and property in this paper. Component of transformer is bobin winding, insulating paper, Varnish etc. And experiment and investigated special quality by primary winding of transformer and composition of secondary winding. Investigated loss of transformer and EMI decrease method. Investigated method to select winding size that consider frequency.

  • This paper presents a thermal analysis of an interior PM synchronous machine with concentrated winding for electric vehicle. The conventional thermal equivalent network model has been used for a long time for calculation of the temperature rises in electrical machines. In spite of being popular, this method can not be applied correctly for elements with complicated cooling structure like liquid cooled housing. To overcome this drawbacks, in this paper, a hybrid thermal model using the result of CFD analysis partly. Using this method, to improve a thermal performance of PMSM with concentrated winding, the effects of two design parameters are analysed. Finally, the accuracy of this model has been verified by experiments for the developed 21kW motor.

  • A noise reduction equipment in power systems was device combined in a passive element such as the form of L, R and C. A analysis of frequency characteristics for the transformer models shall be considered the additional capacitance between the windings($C_{ps}$), terminals($C_s$), and winding-ground($C_g$). A noise in transformer is modeled by take account into the different frequency. In case of the high frequency, transformer windings with stray capacitance have lower impedance. Therefore a noise is transferred from primary winding to secondary winding. Noise Cut Transformer(NCT) was the noise reduction device and was normally single phase two-winding type transformer. We analyzed frequency characteristics using the nodal network analysis with the equivalent circuit and the simulation of the MATLAB.

Optimal Design and Performance Analysis of Permanent Magnet Assisted Synchronous Reluctance Portable Generators

  • In this paper, design and performance analysis of robust and inexpensive permanent magnet-assisted synchronous reluctance generators (PMa-SynRG) for tactical and commercial generator sets is studied. More specifically, the optimal design approach is investigated for minimizing volume and maximizing performance for the portable generator. In order to find optimized PMa-SynRG, stator winding configurations and rotor structures are analyzed using the lumped parameter model (LPM). After comparisons of stator windings and rotor structure by LPM, the selected stator winding and rotor structure are optimized using a differential evolution strategy (DES). Finally, output performances are verified by finite element analysis (FEA) and experimental tests. This design process is developed for the optimized design of PMa-SynRG to achieve minimum magnet and machine volume as well as maximum efficiency simultaneously.

  • In this research, the characteristics of Brush-less DC (BLDC) motor in accordance with winding connection method, both Y-connection and D -connection, has been identified with design methodology simply. BLDC motor has been designed for both winding connections, and their torque analysis has been performed considering ideal current source analysis and voltage source analysis with 6-step control. In addition, to reduce torque ripple of BLDC motor, caused by coil inductance, on voltage source analysis with 6-step control, we have proposed suitable control method which is Phase Advance Control. It is verified that the torque ripple has been decreased by virtue of phase advance control, advancing and widening conduction angle of switching, via performance analysis by Finite Element Analysis.

  • This paper deals with optimum design criteria to minimize the torque ripple of a concentrated winding Synchronous Reluctance Motor(SynRM) using Response Surface Methodology(RSM). The feasibility of using RSM with the finite element method(FEM) in practical engineering problem is investigated with omputational examples and comparison between the fitted response and the results obtained from an analytical solution according to the design variables of stator and rotor in concentrated winding SynRM(6slot). The focus of this paper is the efficiency evaluation on the basis of load condition in a Concentrated Winding Synchronous Reluctance Motor and distributed Winding Synchronous Reluctance Motor.

  • Winding methods of the interior permanent magnet synchronous motor for vehicle traction have two kinds. They are concentrated winding and distributed winding. They have merits and demerits and influence motor performance. Therefore, this paper present designs that concentrated winding and distributed winding motor what they have same capacity. And each motor characteristic was analyzed by finite element analysis.

  • In this paper, a winding fault diagnosis method base on MCSA(Motor Current Signature Analysis) for BLDC motor is proposed. This method is programmed by LabVIEW for winding fault diagnosis. For winding fault diagnosis, two types of winding fault(shorted turn at one pole, shorted turn at two pole in same phase) are put intentionally in on phase. The motor current is collected by hole sensor, and transformed by the Park's transform, and then the Park's Vector Pattern are obtained, Usually this pattern is formed an ellipse, so a proper threshold value of distortion ratio(the ratio of the shortest axis and longest axis of ellipse) is suggested for winding faults diagnosis.
