It was to verify the mediating effect of self-efficacy in the relationship that the interpersonal relationship of the disabled affects daily life satisfaction. The subjects of the study were 3,907 registered disabled people in the 5th Data of the Disabled Employment Panel (2019), and the SPSS 25.0 program was used for data analysis. The main research results are as follows. First, it was confirmed that the effect of interpersonal relationships on daily life satisfaction was positive(+) significan. Second, the effect of interpersonal relationships on self-efficacy was found to be positive(+) significance level. Third, the effect of self-efficacy on daily life satisfaction was statistically positive(+) significance level. Fourth, the positive(+) partial mediating effect of self-efficacy was verified in the relationship between interpersonal relationships on daily life satisfaction. In order to improve the daily life satisfaction of the disabled, it was found that interpersonal relationships and self-efficacy should be improved. Through this, practical implications were presented to increase the satisfaction of the disabled in their daily lives.

Recently, the welfare of the elderly and the disabled has been becoming more important. For this reason, many facilities to accommodate them are being constructed in government and public offices. However, the facilities are usually just installed without providing information to the elderly and the disabled. So they are still faced with many difficulties due to the insufficient information on these new facilities. In this study, we implemented the information system of facilities which provides information to the elderly and the disabled through web pages. The objective of this system is to provide visual information about facilities. This system uses web service technology for effective management of data. It is being offered in Incheon's local office. Also, we see a high level of system satisfaction via a survey.

The study aims to discuss issues on alternative materials for the disabled. For the purpose, it analyzed related policies and legislations. As a theoretical study, it explored definitions and types of altermative materials, and discussed a history of the information access rights for the disabled. Then, the study analyzed the disabled service part of the library development master plan. Futhermore, it discussed library act, disabled welfare act, and copyright act which define the rights and responsibilities of the interested groups. Based on the analysis, the study conducted interviews with members of the interested groups to explores their acknowledge and perspective. As a result, it argued the problems related to production and service of alternative materials, and provided five enhanced strategies.

The purpose of this study was to identify the current status of the challenging behaviors of the developmentally disabled living in residential facilities for the disabled in Gyeonggi-do and whether social workers in residential facilities recognize the challenging behaviors, and then to draw implications for establishing an intervention for the challenging behaviors. As a research method, a survey was conducted targeting 145 social workers in residential facilities for the disabled in Gyeonggi-do. The collected data were calculated as frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation using SPSS 25.0. As a result of the study, first, it was analyzed that the status of injuries related to challenging behaviors of persons with developmental disabilities was high. Second, it was analyzed that the social worker's perception of the challenging behavior of the developmentally disabled is that they are considering job change because of psychological trauma. The coping ability and ability to cope with it were excellent, and they did not achieve excellent results. Learn more about acting in a professional manner.

This study applied a cox proportional hazard model for analysis, using data of the Panel Survey of Employment for the Disable from the first to fifth years. The purpose of the study is to make a policy suggestion necessary for the support of employment for the disabled, by analyzing important factors affecting employment of the unemployed disabled according to the unemployment period. Results of the analysis were: a model that considered all the sociodemographic, obstructive and social environmental factors was verified; the higher subjective SES of the disabled, the higher employment rate of the unemployed disabled; compared to the severely disabled, the slightly disabled had more advantages for employment; and relatively the lower unearned income, the higher employment rate. This study suggested based on these results limitations and implications of the study.

The purpose of this study is to substantially understand and identify experienced social exclusion of the disabled in Korea. For this, the 8 times in focus interview implemented on 31 of the disabled with regard to disability type, gender, age, education, job etc. The results, firstly it found that participants experienced material deprivation due to inequality on economic distributions, and the multi-deprivation of social rights overall social systems and scopes resulted from the disability discrimination against the organization of society. Nextly, it represented that they got the exclusion from social participation and isolation and alienation in social relationships in the dimension of society. In that, particularly, a sort of invisible type of social exclusion such as an intolerant and double social norm and values is found, which has been impacted on their impairment or disability in the participants. This founded results contribute on applying fundamental data for political and practical implementations for social inclusion of the disabled, as well as theoretical building for conception of social exclusion of the disabled.

Most of existing studies about employment of people with disabilities have regarded the disabled groups as only one group which has different characteristics respectively. In fact, each of the disabled groups have several peculiarities of their own. So government or policy makers must regard the disabled group as different groups which have their own characteristics(example : education level, house income, wage, working hours, satisfaction level for their job, disability type and degree, service year in a firm, etc) for promoting employment of the disabled effectively and keeping their job continuously. In this study, we examine and verify the existence of segmentations in Korea labor market of the disabled according to their different education level & sex by using MDFA(Multiple Discriminant Function Analysis technique) and seek solutions for easing those segmentations.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of the foodservice management practices, the equipment ratio of sanitary facility/equipment, and dietitians' perceptions of (i) the barriers to sanitary management and (ii) the sanitary management performance level in the welfare institutions for the disabled in Korea. The survey was conducted during the period from September 7 to October 15, 2006. A total of 91 institutions(response rate 74.6%) were analyzed by using SPSS(windows ver. 14.0). The average number of meals served per day per an institution was 379. The majority(93.4%) of dietitians made decisions in procurement. The major part of the purchase was made through private contract. The factors affecting menu planning were nutrition, food preference, and cost, in the order of importance. Among the food items, fruits were infrequently served, while protein source foods and green leaf vegetables were almost daily served. The equipment ratio of sanitary facilities/equipment was 45%, which was relatively low. Most dietitians perceived 'limited availability of facilities and equipment' and 'the lack of support from financing department' as the major barriers in implementing a desirable sanitary system. Sanitary management performance in 'the food ingredient' was perceived as the lowest, while that in 'the uniform' showed the highest. The results of this study suggest that a proper supporting program on securing the facility/equipment and adequately trained employees are needed for successful sanitary management. Also, a more frequent supply of fruits for the disabled is recommended.

This policy alternatives for establishment of rehabilitation health care delivery system for the disabled in the community were developed based on the data of current health status and situations of health care management for disabled persons in Korea. This research was conducted with secondary data analysis for identifying health status and current situations of managing health of disabled persons, and discussed current issues for establishing rehabilitation health care delivery systems in the community. Observing the health status and current situations of managing health of disabled persons, scope and target population of disabled person extended. so prevalence rates increased. and the severity of disability intensified and specified. The summary of issues of health management for disabled persons included; 1) absence of comprehensive and systematic policy in rehabilitation health care systems. 2) absence of consumer based rehabilitation health care facilities and delivery systems that are considered as the characteristics of disabled persons 3) fixed form of projects based on the provider and lack of variety in the programs. Hereafter. to overcome these problems. policy alternatives should 1) establish a comprehensive rehabilitation health care policy for disabled persons. 2) establish comprehensive and specific community based rehabilitation health care delivery systems that can promote preventing disability. providing medical care for disabled persons, establishing rehabilitation management for disabled persons and health care when returning to society. 3) provide training and secure manpower for rehabilitation, but the training case managers who will take the roles as an expert rehabilitation nurse mediators for multidisciplinary team work are needed immediately. and 4) include efficient connection and provision of independent services for welfare rehabilitation service and health care. Conclusively. a community based rehabilitation health care delivery system should be comprehensive policy vision of the government on rehabilitation health care delivery System rehabilitation service has to be constructed systematically under suitable facilities con consumer characteristics and rehabilitation health care policy. By doing this, consumer comprehensive community rehabilitation health care delivery system could be constructed disabled person.

Music Braille is essential and academic materials for the blind to learn and enjoy music. In Korea, National Library for the Disabled is the public institution for the manufacture digital music braille by the request and the center of music rehabilitation the disabled also make the digital music braille on a welfare level. However, most of braille libraries in Korea do have little music braille compared to other braille books. This paper reports the current situations how braille libraries including National library for the Disabled contain braille books, music brailles and digital music brailles to find out that the blinds can be provided exact informations about music brailles and digital music brailles so they can learn music with the right materials such as music brailles. In conclusion, the construction of Database for the digital music brailles is required and necessary for the blind to have better activities of music from the welfare and artistic point of view.
