A taxonomic examination of Zygophylax species collected from the subtidal zone of Seongsan Ilchulbong in the east of Jeju Island and a reexamination of the voucher specimens previously described as Z. biarmata were conducted. Through this study, the species previously reported as Z. biarmata in Korea was redescribed as Z. pacifica, and the specimens from Seongsan Ilchulbong were confirmed to be Z. biarmata. Zygophylax biarmata has two nematothecae on the apophysis of the hydrotheca, a clear distinction between the apophysis and the pedicel of the hydrotheca, and much smaller hydrothecae, whereas Z. pacifica has a single nematotheca on the apophysis of the hydrotheca, no distinction between the apophysis and the pedicel of the hydrotheca, and much larger hydrothecae. As a result of this study, a total of two species belonging to genus Zygophylax have been reported in the hydrozoan fauna of Korea to date.

Objective : This study conducted in rural areas, elderly services voucher business and leisure satisfaction survey based on data from the use of community-dwelling older people considering service needs was to find ways to take advantage of leisure time. Methods : Buyeo county residents in this study 71 patients were elderly, the characteristics of elderly gender, the presence of spouse, health status, education level, monthly living expenses, number of children, occupation, and the variables were included. Subjects' self-esteem, life satisfaction, quality of life, program satisfaction questionnaire for the survey were used, t-test and correlation analysis using the correlation between each factor were analyzed. Results : In a survey of participants in leisure activities, TV watching, meeting friends, such as phone calls to static and time-consuming activities were surveyed about satisfaction of the voucher business, the elderly oral health care services, health screening services, sports massage such as health-related services is relatively high degree of satisfaction. Conclusion : The results of this study of elderly people in rural communities through meaningful leisure time were utilized to determine what is lacking, a strong desire for health-related services that could be confirmed. Therefore, further experience and knowledge about activities by providing opportunities for meaningful leisure time needs to improve, and it based on a variety of programs to meet the needs of the elderly should be provided.

The purpose of this study is to examine the job characteristics of care workers in elderly care voucher service emphasizing a social service quality management approach. The study sample was composed of randomly-selected 233 centers which dispatched care staffs to clients' home. Descriptive analyses were performed for examining the unique aspects of relationship-based labor of care staffs, and logistic regression analyses were performed for investigating the association between service quality structure and human right violation against staffs. As the first empirical study focusing on staff-side service quality factors, this study found out that human right violation against staffs was mainly influenced by record-keeping and document management capacity of center, risk protection under insurance, compliance of standard contract procedure, and regular supervision. These results suggest particular policy attention should be given to basic protection for and set-up of core activity boundaries of care workers as well as clients-centered rights both for preventing human right violation and improving overall social service quality.

The culture is an integral factor when we deal with the quality of life of members of society, and the cultural right is accepted as the basic right. However, the cultural right of the disabled in our society stays in the conditions of the discrimination and alienation by social prejudices and barriers against people with disabilities, and that results from the lack of understanding as a right. The aim of this study is to further raise awareness about the cultural right of the disabled as the basic human right, make it clear to be a universal right based on that, and insist on implementing 'Affirmative Action' for actualizing the disabled's cultural right to equality. The political measures derived from this study to guarantee and realize the cultural right of the disabled are as follows. First, the target extent of cultural voucher system should be expand to not recipients of national basic livelihood guarantees and near poverty groups, but all the disabled. Second, to take full charge of the cultural support of the disabled as a independent organization, it is necessary to establish Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism-affiliated 'Bureau of Culture for Persons with Disabilities'. Third, the nationwide survey on cultural activities and desires of the disabled periodically is required.

Baekdudaegan, the largest mountain range in eastern Asia, is a biodiversity hotspot in Korea that may have served as a glacial refugium. This study presents the flora of vascular plants on Deok-chi upto the Yuk-sim-nyeong area of the Baekdudaegan conservation area. The survey area was divided into four subareas and fieldwork was conducted for a total of twelve days in 2015. Voucher specimens were collected during the survey and were deposited at Daejeon University. A list of vascular plants was prepared based on the voucher specimens. The results of the survey showed that a total of 441 taxa, consisting of 100 families, 265 genera, 398 species, 9 subspecies, 32 varieties, and 2 forms, were found in the survey area. There was one endangered species, Aconitum coreanum, in the Bonghwasan Mt. area. Sixteen endemic taxa, 74 floristic regional indicator plants, as designated by the Ministry of the Environment, and eleven naturalized plants were distributed. The results of this study can serve as basic information to establish conservation and management plans for the Baekdudaegan conservation area.

This research is based on social flow that is in need of sports welfare that diagnoses the delivery system of sports program pass that is typical business of national sports welfare services and operation structure, and analyze the supplier, operator, beneficiary and all that is related to business from multilateral aspects, therefore seek for operation systems for provision systems of sports welfare services. To clearly grasp the operating mechanisms of service provision system that is happening in real field, there were in-depth interview done by the 18 people of suppliers, operators, and beneficiaries that are the main participants of business, and through which drew an ideal agreed point for sports welfare services to get in the right direction. The result of this study is as following: First, based on the limited government budget for the compilation of budget for the business of sports welfare services it is found that there is need of constructing a pragmatic service provision system that can bring maximum of efficiency. Second, voucher that was introduced for market logic application and greater transparency of the business of sports welfare services has a complex structure that it is in need of simplification of structure which that is well fit with its characteristics. Third, for convenience enlargement in administration and management, make management policy of provision system be reflected and therefore enlarge the independence of management and secure the power of negotiation regarding fee savings through centralized budget management.

The aim of this study was to analyze research trends of social service quality from 2007 to 2020 based on text mining and topic modeling. Our focus was to provide foundational materials for social service improvement by discovering the latent meaning of relevant research papers. We collected 97 scholarly articles on social service, social welfare service, and quality from RISS, and implemented two segments of text mining analysis. Our results showed that the first section included 38 papers and the second 59, indicating 6.9 articles annually. Word frequency results demonstrated that the common keywords of both sections were 'service', 'quality', 'social service', 'satisfaction', 'users', 'quality control', 'reuse', 'policy', 'voucher', etc. TF-IDF suggested that 'social service', 'satisfaction', 'users', 'customer satisfaction', 'revisiting', 'voucher', 'quality', 'assisted living facility', 'quality control', 'community service investment business', etc., were represented in both categories. Lastly, topic modeling analysis revealed that the first segment displayed 'types of care services', 'service costs', 'reuse', 'users based', and 'job creation', whereas the second presented 'service quality', 'public value', 'management system of human resources', 'service provision system', and 'service satisfaction'. Future directions of social service quality were discussed based on the results.

We report the species of medicinal plants collected in Khuvsgul and Khangai Mountain regions of Mongolia. Of the vascular plants that occur in the study region, a total of 280 medicinal plant species belonging to 164 genera from 51 families are reported. Of these, we collected voucher specimen for 123 species between June and August in the years 2015 and 2016. The families Asteraceae (46 species), Fabaceae (37 species), and Ranunculaceae (37 species) were represented most in the study area, while Astragalus (21 species), Taraxacum (20 species), and Potentilla (17 species) were the most common genera found.

After social service voucher schemes were introduced in Korea, many controversies have been concentrated on market-based approach, which encourage competition and choice while amount of funding, number of providers, and types of services have been rapidly expanded. This also could mean that transform of social service paradigm from provider-centered approach to user-cantered approach, one of the trends found internationally. Therefore, this is the study to reveal development of social service discourses in Britain where various models of social services have been attempted in their modern history. Then, through the historical analysis, the trends toward more user-cantered approach were found to be distinguished based on the division of individualism and collectivism. This could provide theocratical implication to the current discussion on social services in Korea.

As part of a study to understand the current status of Korean plant species propagated in foreign countries, we conducted extensive surveys on Korean living collections in the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University, the oldest public arboretum in North America. Specifically, we collected and identified the voucher specimens of the living collections and further examined the collection databases to understand the history of how Korean plants were introduced to the Arboretum. We found that a total of 154 Korean taxa (belonging to 49 families and 81 genera) have been planted in the arboretum. Most plants originated from seeds that were directly collected in Korea or obtained via seed exchanges with botanical gardens in Asia, Europe, and U.S.A. Of the 154 taxa, 16 are Korean endemic species, and three are listed as endangered species. In addition, 62 taxa are as floristic regional indicator species of Korea used by the Ministry of Environment.
