  • The purpose of this paper, we prove convergence theorems of the modified viscosity inexact Mann iteration process for a family of asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive type mappings in CAT(0) spaces. We also show that the limit of the modified viscosity inexact Mann iteration {xn} solves the solution of some variational inequality.

  • In this paper, a Naveir-Stokes equation is solved by using the Adomian's decomposition method (ADM), modified Adomian's decomposition method (MADM), variational iteration method (VIM), modified variational iteration method (MVIM), modified homotopy perturbation method (MHPM) and homotopy analysis method (HAM). The approximate solution of this equation is calculated in the form of series which its components are computed by applying a recursive relation. The existence and uniqueness of the solution and the convergence of the proposed methods are proved. A numerical example is studied to demonstrate the accuracy of the presented methods.

  • In this paper we have considered a system of mixed generalized variational inequality problems defined on two different domains in a Hilbert space. It has been shown that the solution of a system of mixed generalized variational inequality problems is equivalent to altering point formulation of some mappings. A new parallel S-iteration type process has been considered which converges strongly to the solution of a system of mixed generalized variational inequality problems.

  • In this paper, we propose new algorithms for solving equilibrium and multivalued variational inequality problems in a real Hilbert space. The first algorithm for equilibrium problems uses only one approximate projection at each iteration to generate an iteration sequence converging strongly to a solution of the problem underlining the bifunction is pseudomonotone. On the basis of the proposed algorithm for the equilibrium problems, we introduce a new algorithm for solving multivalued variational inequality problems. Some fundamental experiments are given to illustrate our algorithms as well as to compare them with other algorithms.

  • In this paper, we have employed the variational iteration method to solve the boundary value problems. Numerical results reveal that it is a very effective method compared with the results obtained by using the Adomian decomposition method in Wazwaz, A. M. (2000).

  • In this paper, we are extending fractional partial differential equations to fuzzy fractional partial differential equation under Riemann-Liouville and Caputo fractional derivatives, namely Variational iteration methods, and this method have applied to the fuzzy fractional wave equation with initial conditions as in fuzzy. It is explained by one and two-dimensional wave equations with suitable fuzzy initial conditions.

  • Some computational fluid dynamics problems concerning the thin films flow of viscous fluid with a free surface and draining or coating fluid-flow problems can be delineated by third-order ordinary differential equations. In this paper, the aim is to introduce the numerical solutions of the boundary value problems of such equations by variational iteration method. In this paper, it is shown that the third-order boundary value problems can be written as a system of integral equations, which can be solved by using the variational iteration method. These solutions are gleaned in terms of convergent series. Numerical examples are given to depict the method and their convergence.

  • In this paper, nonlinear vibration of multi-degree of freedom systems are studied. It has been tried to develop the mathematical model of systems by second-order nonlinear partial differential equations. The masses are connected with linear and nonlinear springs in series. A great effort has been done to solve the nonlinear governing equations analytically. A new analytical method called Variational Iteration Method (VIM) is proposed and successfully applied to the problem. The linear and nonlinear frequencies are obtained and the results are compared with numerical solutions. The first order of Variational Iteration Method (VIM) leads us to high accurate solution.

  • This article offers a thorough exploration of a modified Black-Scholes model featuring two assets. The determination of option prices is accomplished through the Black-Scholes partial differential equation, leveraging the variational iteration method. This approach represents a semi-analytical technique that incorporates the use of Lagrange multipliers. The Lagrange multiplier emerges as a beacon of efficiency, adeptly streamlining the computational intricacies, and elevating the model's efficacy to unprecedented heights. For better understanding of the presented system, a graphical and tabular interpretation is presented with the help of Maple software.

  • In this paper, we implement a relatively new analytical technique by combining the traditional variational iteration method and the decomposition method which is called as the variational decomposition method (VDM) for solving the sixth-order boundary value problems. The proposed technique is in fact the modification of variatioanal iteration method by coupling it with the so-called Adomian's polynomials. The analytical results of the equations have been obtained in terms of convergent series with easily computable components. Comparisons are made to verify the reliability and accuracy of the proposed algorithm. Several examples are given to check the efficiency of the proposed algorithm. We have also considered an example where the VDM is not reliable.
