This study examined the effects of entrepreneurship education on the career decision of students in the College of Engineering. The purpose of this study was to examine the perceived desirability, perceived feasibility and the career decision - making effects of career decision - making self - efficacy as subjects of entrepreneurship education. This study was carried out by using PLS 3.0 for engineering students in an university. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, it shows that entrepreneurship education has a positive impact on perceived desirability, perceived feasibility. Second, perceived desirability and perceived feasibility have different effects on career decision making and entrepreneurship intention. Third, career decision self - efficacy affects entrepreneurship intention and career intention in career decision making. The results of this study suggest the importance of entrepreneurship education for career decision making and provide meaningful implications for educators and policy developers.
The purpose of this study is to explore effective and practical career plans reflecting demand of the field, in regard to education for university students who major in physical education, as the importance and necessity of career education at a university level are increasing. Systematic literature review (PRISMA) methodology was used for this study. From 38 pieces of literature that were finally selected for this study, research results were put together from three perspectives as follows: 1. 'Factors Related to Students' Decision-Making for Career' which should be considered in career education for physical education majors; 2. Problems of Career Education in the Physical Education Curriculum, and; 3. Improvement Plans. First, it was found that students' decision-making for career is affected by individuals' personal internal factors (i.e., satisfaction with major, self-efficacy, and career barrier) and external factors (i.e., counselling history on career paths, career conditions, and the status of related jobs). Second, the state of career education for physical education majors was found to be insufficient in terms of a lack of career education in the curriculum, a lack of support from major professors, and a lack of support for field experience. Third, improvement plans were suggested from the following perspectives: development of systematic career education curriculum (i.e., fostering leadership, reorganization of curriculum focused on career specialty, and operation of systematic curriculum); provision of an adequate environment for career education (i.e., establishment of infrastructure that links the university to society and collection of information on career paths for physical education majors). Moreover, the necessity to develop career education curriculum in connection with demand of students regarding career, the lack of systematic information on career paths of physical education majors, and the lack of researches on career education for physical education majors were discussed in this study.

This study aims to assess the current status of career education at C University and to gather foundational data for developing a step-by-step career education curriculum and an integrated roadmap for curriculum and extracurricular career education. This research involves a comparative analysis of C University's enrolled students and external university students through a survey using the [University Career Exploration Model]. Data collection took place over one month in October 2023, and statistical analysis was conducted using the SPSS Statistics 25.0 program. The survey results enabled a comparative analysis of the career exploration processes and levels between enrolled students at C University and external university students. The proportion of enrolled students at C University responding positively to the career exploration process and level was high. Through this study, a better understanding of the career exploration processes and levels of university students was achieved. It is deemed necessary to conduct systematic research for continuous, tailored integration of curriculum and extracurricular career education at the university level.

Purpose: The purposes of this study were to build the career education course for nursing students' career development and to identify the effects of the education. Method: The study used a one-group pre- and post-test design and the surveys were carried out from April to June, 2011. The participants were 71 undergraduate seniors of department of nursing in E university. The data were obtained via questionnaires survey before and after taking the course. The collected data were analyzed by paired t-test using SPSS 19. Results: 88.7% of the subjects responded being satisfied with their major. The scores of career search efficacy (t=-2.57, p=.012), career exploration (t=-4.62, p<.001), and career adaptability (t=-3.51, p=.001) showed statistically significant improvement after the education. Networking (t=-2.66, p=.010) and personal exploration efficacy (t=-2.89, p=.005) showed statistically significant difference between pre- and post-test. Between two subgroup of career exploration, only the environment exploration (t=-5.92, p<.001) significantly improved. However, there was no significant difference in career identity. Conclusion: From this study, career education showed significant effects on the career search efficacy, career exploration, and career adaptability of nursing students. These findings suggest that career education as a subject would be an efficient way for career development of nursing students.
In order to respond to rapid change in career world and future society, there has been need to strengthen the competitiveness of higher education institutions and career education system in universities. The article discusses an exemplary case studies of career education that being held in universities of developed countries such as, the United Kingdom(UK), the United States(USA) and Singapore. According to the analysis, in the UK, there has been a gradual interference by the British government; in the US, states respectively establish an educational policies and laws, as a result, it has quite a strong local government style. On the other hand, in the Singapore, as the majority of the universities are national university, the Government leads in establishing career education policy. As a result, this article aims to explore policies of career education in higher education institution in developed countries and provide an implication for Korean national career education.

This study was conducted to examine the policies and current status of career education at universities and to compile foundational data for improving career education through an analysis of undergraduate's career awareness and career education programs. The data was collected by restructuring career education-related items from a career awareness survey conducted on 1,322 enrolled students at G University. Analyzing students' career awareness based on their year and major, a cross-analysis was conducted, while the preference for career education programs was analyzed using descriptive statistics. Based on the research findings, the proposal was made to strengthen career exploration programs through self-understanding, expedite the timing of career decision-making, and highlight the necessity of developing career education programs tailored to individual career readiness levels.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of 'career decision making', 'school career education activities and participation', and 'school career education satisfaction' after 568 high school students. Methods: The subjects were surveyed after the counseling training. Results: 49.3% of the respondents answered that they had "decided but considered" in the "career decision information items" of the questionnaire about the subjects after the school career counseling education. 28.0% of the parents' advice was the most helpful when choosing their career, and 52.2% of the career decision making at school. There were 13 items in 'participation in school career education activity', and the average value was 3.49. The highest score was 3.66 points for "college or major experience" and the lowest score of 3.27 points for career-linked career education. In 'satisfaction with School Career Education', 94.7% of creative experiential activities and 94% of career and vocational courses were enthusiasts, and entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship experience (10.6%) were low. The career decision - making self - efficacy was also high in the group with high satisfaction of career education. Conclusions: School career decisions for high school students were effective when they were devoted to parental advice, university experience, creative vocational and career, and vocational education. The career decision - making self - efficacy was high in the group with high satisfaction of career education. Therefore, career counseling education considered adequate if it is devoted to education professionals.

The purpose of this study is to develop cyber class contents on website and to verify the effectiveness of the program to reinforce a career education. The participants of the experiment in this study are from Namseoul University who took the cyber class 'Self management and creation of vision.' of the second semester in 2015. They took the class fifty-sixty minutes a week. The control group also includes the students who took the classes 'Theory and practice of school violence prevention' and 'Youth Education theory.' To verify the effectiveness of career education, the data processing in performing this study utilized t-test for homogeneity with the effective variable of career identity and career decision and the result was proved by using paired t-test. The result suggests that the experiment group significantly shows improvement compared with the control group in the view of career identity and career decision level. Therefore we recognize that the web based cyber course has its effect on content development and career education and we anticipate the continuous development and activation of effective cyber education on website for university students in future.

The purpose of this study is to observe teachers' perceptions of career education for incumbent Chinese general high school teachers.This is because no matter what the curriculum on career education looks like, career education can eventually be conducted in various directions according to the perception of teachers who provide career education. The survey categories to examine teachers' perceptions are largely divided into five categories: experience/current of career education, importance of career education, necessity of career education, difficulty in the implementation process, and method of implementation. Currently, the Chinese government strongly encourages career education, but it lacks the ability of teachers to stockpile expertise in the field.In addition, teachers showed a high awareness of the effectiveness of career education, but they expressed difficulties in recognizing how to develop vocational career skills. This study is meaningful in that it suggested the direction of improving career education through a survey of teachers' perceptions that determine the realization of career education in a situation where career education research itself is very weak for teachers in general high schools in China.
In order to cultivate the talents acquired in the fourth industrial revolution, developed countries' government are actively engaged in the campaigns encouraging K-12 students to participate in the maker movement. Maker education is regarded as one possible solution based on high tech in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, and it is spreading widely along with STEM education. In South Korea, STEAM education was actively conducted nationwide, and since 2017, STEAM and maker education have been linked showing mutual development. However, compared to STEAM education linked to the curriculum, comparison and activity-based research on maker education for teenagers is still insufficient. Therefore, this study aimed to suggest implications for STEAM education and maker education by analyzing the motivation of Korean youth to participate in maker activities. The subjects of this study are high school students who participated in maker education programs in student community for the first time in Korea. In this study, students were classified into engineering-related career group and non-engineering-related career groups based on their career intentions, and the motivation and understanding of participation in maker activities were compared. As a result of the study, male students participated more in maker education community activities than female students, and the engineering-related career group had a higher intention to participate in games, outdoor activities, IT equipment, digital production, and electrical/electronic production activities than the non-engineering-related career group. In addition, in the fields of handicraft/art, home baking, installing, and horticultural agriculture, there was no difference in the intention of participate in the engineering-related career group and the non-engineering-related career group. It was found that the engineering-related career group believed that there was a strong relationship between the maker education community activity, career exploration and future career choice, while the non-engineering-related career group believed that the relationship is less strong. It was also found that the engineering-related career group was participating more actively in the maker activity than the other group.
