It is important that architecture environment is recognized not physical space but an cultural property of the times. Accordingly, the movement to achieve the creative architecture culture that is to establish the cultural identity of the nation, to preserve a physical architecture environment in existence to utilize it has been tried for the promotion of the architecture culture. Especially, it is necessary to be accomplished a basic education to the architecture environment that is related closely with the national life for improving such the consideration. And, It is necessary to develop the educational program, the study method and the related teaching material etc. and to establish systematic implement plan at the same time so that the correct basic architecture education may work out. This study considers the importance and the meaning of the basic architecture education and examines the related overseas cases aiming at developing and activating the systematized education program. On the basis of these, I will make the frame of the basic architecture education that best suits our society is needed and try to find policy measures, then I will establish a firm foothold for pushing ahead the basic architecture education from now on.

The relationship between adolescent children and parents has a profound effect on not only the adolescents development into healthy adults but also the psychological welfare of the parent. A program focused to improve adolescents relationship with parents has not been developed until now. To achieve the educational goals enhancing mutual understanding, it is more effective to educate both the parents and adolescent children. Thus, this study developed and carried out a program in which adolescent children and mothers, being fully in charge of raising children, participated. The study analyzed the program effects after implementing on 6 pairs of adolescent children and mothers. The results are as follows: 1) adolescent children and mothers placed high values on the fact that they can understand each other well, 2) both parties accepted each other by recognizing the inevitability of the generation gap, and 3) the program gave them a chance to admit that they should try to communicate openly. Most of all, adolescent children could find self-confidence while mothers could collect valuable data essential to raise children and build a new mother's role model adapting to social changes.

정보기술의 발달은 인간에게 많은 유익한 정보를 쉽게 제공하고 있으나 그 유익한 정보를 부적절한 사용자로부터 보호할 필요가 생겼다. 정보와 관련된 위험을 분석 및 관리하는 과정에서 정보에 대한 가치를 정확히 측정해야 한다. 한 가지 방법으로 조건부 가치 측정법에 대하여 고찰하려 한다. 공공재 또는 비시장재의 가치를 평가하는 방법인 조건부 가치 측정법을 통하면 관심 대상의 가치에 대한 불용의액수를 통계인 방법으로 추정할 수 있다. 특별히, 지불 용의액에 대한 신뢰구간의 추정에 초점을 맞추어 보았다. 정보시스템에 존재하는 정보의 가치를 보전하기 위해 지불하고자 하는 금액으로부터 정보의 가치를 통계적으로 추정하는 방법을 R을 이용한 사례를 분석하여 소개한다.

Meniere's disease (MD) is a disease that affects the inner ear. It is formed as a result of endolymphatic hydrops. Hearing loss and vertigo are important in the diagnosis of MD. There is fluctuating and progressive hearing loss. Vertigo attacks cause severe dizziness in the patient. There are many treatment options in MD. These are hearing aid, diet, medication and surgery. In this study, we will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the different treatment options. Treatment options have been compared to find out what the appropriate treatment is. Another concern is the importance of surgery in MD. This study is combination of qualitative and quantitative studies. Much focus will be on vertigo, and appropriate treatment options of MD will be mentioned also the importance of surgery. The main question in this study is the necessity of surgery. Surgical procedures are the most doubtful treatment option because of their indications and contraindications. In this study, it has been noticed that surgical operation should be delayed as much as possible. Priority is to try other treatment options. Surgery can be considered as a last resort. When we look at the operations performed, operations are mostly done in advanced Meniere cases.

터널이 굴진될 때 주변지반은 3차원적으로 거동하게 되나 설계단계에서의 해석은 일반적으로 2차원적으로 수향하고 있다. 2차원적인 터널해석은 응력분배법 또는 강송 변화법에 의하여 3차원적인 터널굴진에 따른 다양한 조건하에서의 정규화된 지반 변위곡선을 구하고 이 곡선과 유사한 곡선이 유도되도록 시행착오법에 의하여 2차원 해석을 실시하므로 3차원 해석과 근사한 변위곡선을 가지도록 막장거리별 응력분배비율을 결정하였다. 따라서, 시간과 노력이 많이 소요되는 3차원 해석없이도 적절한 응력분배비율을 적용하는 경우 2차원 해석으로 터널굴진시의 3차원적인 지반거동을 평가할 수 있게 되었다.

The purpose of this study were: (1) to determine buying practices of mothers concerning child-ren's shirts and slacks; (2) to find out the characteristics of satisfaction and dissatisfaction about these same two items of children's clothing; (3) to make gathered information available to consumers and manufacturers, and to suggest ways to improve children's clothing for consumers. The data for this study were collected through questionaires to 789 mothers of seven and eight years old children in three elementary schools from December 3 to December 14, 1978. The findings are as follows: 1. More than $71\%$ of mothers stated that all of their children's shirts and slacks were purchased ready-made. More than half of the children acquired some part of their clothing through hand-me-downs. 2. The store in which mothers purchased their children clothing most frequently was near-by market or wholesale market and the next was children's wear specialty shop. 3. Childrens accompanied mothers more frequently when slacks were being purchased than when shirts were. 4. More than half the children of seven and eight years old wear size 9$\~$10 and the next common size was size 11$\~$12. 5. Most mothers determined the proper size in clothing by having the child actually try on the clothing. 6. $44\%$ of mothers stated that they have a fitting problem with shirts and $64\%$ of mothers stated that they have fitting problems with slacks.

After the IMF financial crisis, a lot of risks in construction industry have been increased gradually with the expansion of construction industry widely, higher stories of building, and the expansion of the underground space and excavation work. These risks are bringing out construction accidents such as the death, the injury of worker and so on, not so much as it would be effected the corporation's image. In spite of these situations, many construction industries still maintain the wrong methods and not try to decrease construction accidents. Recently, we should focus on the fact that management system of the larger construction also is being good, on the other hand, the condition of the work in the case of smaller construction industries is very poor, construction company have a particular safety management system but it has a difference according to the construction magnitude, construction companies have a particular safety management system but it has a difference depending on the construction according to the construction magnitude. Therefore, this study will suggest the developed way of construction safety management by the comparison and analysis from the difference between the higher and the smaller construction industries.

In this study, we try to evaluate the efficiency of the photonics industry using a data envelopment analysis(DEA) model. We first develope four stage procedures for selecting proper input and output variables which consist of selecting the first candidate variables from literature survey, selecting the second candidate variables through experts' discussion, measuring the partial efficiency of the selected variables based on Tofallis' profiling, and clustering some variables through the rank correlation analysis of partial efficiency proposed by Min and Kim(l998). With this procedure, we select 4 input variables(capital, number of employee, R&D cost, operating cost) and 2 output variables(sales, growth of sales) and then utilize CCR and BCC model to measure efficiencies of 26 photonics companies in Gwangju. Moreover, we perform the reference group analysis to figure out what causes inefficiencies and to provide the desirable values for input and output variables at which inefficient photonics companies become efficient. Finally, we classify 26 photonics companies into three groups such as optical communications, optical applications, and optical sources, and perform the Kruskal-Wallis test to check if there exist some differences between efficiencies of three groups.

The variability of a ventilated filter cigarette depends on the details of its construction and one properties of its components and the variations in filter ventilation is effected by many factors such as tobacco column pressure drop, filter pressure drop, tipping paper and plug wrap permeability, and vent position. In this study, the effects of combination of tipping paper and plug wrap on filter ventilation of cigarettes were studied for the target ventilation level under the specific tobacco column and filter tip in order to reduce the variation of filter ventilation. When Nicolas Baskevitch\`s equation on filter ventilation was used to try out Monte Carlo Simulation, at the combination where tipping paper permeability is high and plug wrap permeability is low, even the small change in tipping paper and plug wrap permeability showed high variation of target ventilation level. Also, according to the analysis data of filter ventilation in cigarettes designed at the level of 45% filter ventilation by the combinations with tipping paper and plug wrap, the variation in cigarette filter ventilation was increased as increasing tipping paper permeability and decreasing plug wrap permeability. As the results of this study, the variation of filter ventilation can be reduced by increasing plug wrap permeability/tipping paper permeability ratio in the cigarette design, considering 2-3% of tipping paper permeability variation(%CV) and about 10% of plugwrap permeability variation.
