Mix-used development in urban renewal project is done to effectively utilize the limited downtown. Generally unlike a single project, It features placing a large number of different facilities(residential, commercial, business, cultural, etc.) which is each other organically linked. The purpose of this study is to suggest the method of modeling guide for 3D preliminary cost estimation considering visual and intuitive judgement of space in mix-used development Urban Renewal project. In this research, introducing SME(Standard Module and Element) breakdown structure, FID(Finish Identity) for estimating building space unit-based quantity take off was implemented. It could narrow the discrepancy of opinion between the stakeholders with more accurate cost-estimates, comparing to the traditional methods.

In this paper, UPS, which is embedded in computer power supply, is developed against the poor utility power system. In the developed system, PIC16C54 is used as the main controller, and UPS system consists of micom control module, power failure detecting module, charging module, power module, synchronous transfer module, and GUI module. Additionally, GUI module consists of battery charging state unit, power operating unit and operating state unit. The effectiveness of the developed system has been verified by the experimental results.

A new technique is proposed for bridge structural damage detection based on spatial wavelet analysis of the time history obtained from vehicle body moving over the bridge, which is different from traditional detection techniques based on the bridge response. A simply-supported Bernoulli-Euler beam subjected to a moving spring-mass unit is established, with the crack in the beam simulated by modeling the cracked section as a rotational spring connecting two undamaged beam segments, and the equations of motion for the system is derived. By using the transfer matrix method, the natural frequencies and mode shapes of the cracked beam are determined. The responses of the beam and the moving spring-mass unit are obtained by modal decomposition theory. The continuous wavelet transform is calculated on the displacement time histories of the sprung-mass. The case study result shows that the damage location can be accurately determined and the method is effective.

In order to achieve low power consumption and the uniform power spectrum of LED BLU (Back Light Unit) system, new circuits with a 2 stage L-C (Inductor-Capacitor) coupler have been proposed. From the simulation results based on our proposed model, the ripple power of the L-C regulation-embedded BLU circuit shows a dramatic reduction by more than 89.3% as compared to the normal BLU (without L-C circuits). This indicates that the proposed circuit is very promising for the realization of high-efficiency BLU circuits.

This study has been carried out to study the thermal performance of an all-glass type solar collector tube when a heat transfer medium is used with a heat storage unit capable of preventing pressure build-up within the tube. The heat storage unit is devised such that it performs the dual function of relieving excessive pressure and storing solar thermal energy. Different types of heat storage medium are tested under heat-up phase of a collector tube. It is found that the proposed unit could be used quite effectively if one wishes to capitalize more aggressively in harnessing the solar energy.

This study is concerned with the reduction of noise radiation by an industrial fan unit. First, spectral decomposition method is used to decompose the spectrogram obtained in experiments into source function and noise transfer function, and then major noise generation sources are investigated. Among the noise sources involved in the fan unit. this article is focused on the noise source due to vibration of panels of the unit housing. It is shown here that noise radiation associated with the panel vibration can be as significant in some frequency ranges as that associated with other noise sources such as aeroacoustic fan noise.

Guaranteeing survivability is the most important issue in designing and operating optical transmission network. For dual system of optical transmission network, there should be two routes of the optical to prepare an error in one cable route. If a route is selected based on the standard of unused optical core when choosing an optical cable, dual optical cable routes could be installed in duplicated line. This paper simulates the installation of duplicated line when designing an optical transmission network, detects the status of duplicated line that could happen during transfer construction and switching and accomplishes a system that can confirm the location based on a map.

이 논문은 선박관리 업무의 전산화 및 항해, 기관장비들로부터 발생되는 데이터를 통신망으로 전송하여 각 선실의 컴퓨터상에서 선박의 운항 상황 및 주변 상황을 감시하기 위한 선박종합통신망을 구축하는 것이다. 이런 통신망을 구축하기 위해 먼저 선박의 구조 및 특성 등을 고려하여 통신망의 형태, 전송방식 및 프로토콜 등을 조사 분석하였고 이런 조사 분석을 바탕으로 기본 원칙을 정하고 선박 특성에 적합한 "선박종합통신망"을 설계하고 구축하였다.
