소비자의 브랜드 글로벌성 인식이 브랜드 속성 평가에 미치는 영향: 인과관계에 대한 사고방식의 조절역할을 중심으로 (The Impact of Perceived Brand Globalness on Brand Attributes Evaluation: focusing on the Moderating Role of Thinking Style about Causality)

  • 본 연구는 소비자의 브랜드 글로벌성 인식(Perceived brand globalness: PBG)과 브랜드 속성 평가 간의 관계를 확인하고, 이러한 관계에 대해 인과관계에 관한 사고방식의 차이가 미치는 조절역할을 살펴보았다. 인과관계에 대한 사고방식은 상호작용주의와 성향주의로 구분된다. 개인주의 문화는 인과관계에 대한 사고방식이 성향주의인 경향을 보이고, 집단주의 문화는 상호작용주의인 경향을 보인다. 인과관계에 대한사고방식의 차이에 따라 브랜드 글로벌성 효과가 달라진다는 것을 확인하기 위하여, 집단주의 문화를 대표하는 한국인 대학생 표본과 개인주의 문화권 학생 표본을 대상으로 설문조사를 시행하였고, 이를 통해 수집한 결과를 실증 분석하였다. 분석결과, 소비자가 브랜드의 글로벌성을 높게 인식할수록, 브랜드의 품질, 명성, 가격에 대하여 높게 인식함을 확인하였다. 또한 인과관계에 대한사고방식이 성향주의인 개인주의 문화권 학생들보다, 상호작용주의인 한국인 대학생에게서 브랜드 글로벌성 인식이 브랜드 품질 인식과 명성 인식에 미치는 긍정적 효과가 더 크게 나타났다. 반면 가격 인식에 대한 브랜드 글로벌성 효과는 한국인 대학생과 개인주의 문화권 출신 학생들 사이에 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 즉 인과관계에 대한 사고방식은 브랜드 글로벌성 인식과 브랜드품질, 명성 인식 간의 관계에 조절역할을 하지만, 브랜드 글로벌성 인식과 가격인식 간의 관계에 조절역할을 하지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

현대(現代) 후기(後期) 실내디자인의 표현성(表現性) (A Study on the Stylistic Expression of Late 20th Century Interior Design)

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine the common characteristics of late 20th century interior design style and the post-modern thinking system. A period has its own predominant spirit which determine the tendency of art, and the ubiquitous power in the spirit decides the period's pattern of art. Therefore the interior design style belongs to general art sphere that has its own individual character derived from the dominant power of the controlling system. Paying special attention to this understanding, the auther has processed this paper by combining the post-modem thinking with special characteristics of each of the 20th century interior design style. Until now, researches have been focused on the individual style of post-modern design; however, a general research comprising the whole characteristics of expression has not been made. Accordingly, the rationale of emphasizing the general point of view is establshed. Also, this study suggests a model applicable to studies concerning other art area. This type of methodology is receving more attention as an approach investigating new art ideology for researching post-modern thinking and late 20th century art styles. The conclusions are as follows: First, the distinctive expressions of postmodernism appear to be characteristic of illusion, metaphor, pluralism, decoration, and symmetry, Those of late modernism appear to be the characteristic of complicated simplicity and symplified complexity, passiveness of symbolism and harmony, indeterminacy of form and space, and unintentional decorativeness. And the characteristics of deconstructionism are spatial difference and temporal defferal, and un-reductive and non formal abstractiveness of the space, unfinishness, chance, and secretiveness of individual style. Second, the disinctive expression seems to share common characteristics with postmodern thinking. The best examples are pluralism, non-formalism, populism, and historicism, originating from the deconstruction of 'meta-narrative'. Third, based on the second conclusion, general distinctive expression could be simplified as chacteristics of plurality, hybridity, and indeterminacy. These expressive chacteristics appear to be automatically connected with general postmodern thinking. Last, in consideration of the above conclusion, the extreme generality could be distinctively clarified as 'textural co-exsistence'. Accordingly, the author might confirm that 'textural co-existence' originated from the text that comes from postmodern thinking. In conclusion, design expression of late 20th century interior design accepts the ?universal theme of ubiquitous postmodern thinking. And universal expressions and supreme generality can be common analysis tools for understanding and studying complicated late 20th century interior design.

학습클리닉프로그램이 학습부적응 아동의 인지처리양식에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Learning Clinic Program on Cognitive Processing Styles for Learning Maladjusted Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to apply the learning clinic program to the maladjusted children to help the cognitive processing style, sense type and learning strategy. The results were as follows. First, the cognitive processing style of low-grade elementary school children is divided into the concept of sequential low-order style, which analyzes information sequentially and consecutively, concrete thinking style that processes real and direct information coming in from outside, and invisible principle or information. The abstract cognitive thinking style improved after the process before the program proceeded. However, There was no meaningful result in the simultaneous processing cognitive style which had excellent intuition and emotion and likes change. Second, the temporal lobe in which the linguistic activity is viewed, heard and spoken in the sensory type, the function of the occipital lobe in which the character or the language is processed is improved, but the function of the parietal lobe in moving and manipulating the body is not significant. Finally, factors that contribute to learning such as sincerity, learning initiative, study method, study habits, and concentration are helpful in learning and school life.

문화성향과 분석적-종합적 사고유형의 조합에 따른 전역/국소처리에서의 차이 (Differences in Global/Local Processing of Combined Groups of Cultural Dispositions and Analytic-Holistic Thinking Styles)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 문화성향과 인지양식의 조합 조건에 따라 전역/국소처리에서 어떠한 차이가 관찰되는지 검토하는 것이다. 이를 위해 Singelis 등[1]의 문화성향 질문지(INDCOL)와 Choi 등[2]의 인지양식 질문지(AHS)에 기초하여 실험참가자들의 네 유형의 문화성향(개인주의, 집단주의, 수평 성향 및 수직 성향) 점수와 인지양식 유형(분석적 또는 종합적 사고)에 따라 집단을 분류하고, 복합자극 유형(화살표로 구성된 복합도형 또는 알파벳 낱자로 구성된 복합문자)에 대한 전역/국소처리에서의 반응시간과 오반응율에서의 차이를 집단에 따라 비교하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. (1) 전반적으로 복합문자보다는 복합도형의 경우, 그리고 국소처리 조건보다는 전역처리 조건에서의 반응시간이 더 빨랐다. (2) 개인주의 성향과 수평 성향이 인지양식 유형과 각각 결합된 경우 전역/국소처리에서 집단간 반응시간 차이는 발견되지 않았으나, (3) 집단주의 성향과 수직 성향이 인지양식과 각각 결합된 집단의 경우에는 전역/국소처리에 대한 문화성향과 인지양식의 유의한 상호작용 효과가 모두 관찰되었다. 이러한 결과는 개인주의 성향 또는 수평 성향보다는 집단주의 성향 또는 수직 성향이 종합적 사고 유형과 결합될 때 더 큰 전역선행성 효과를 가져 온다는 것을 시사한다.

공과대학생의 팀워크 역량과 사고양식의 관계 (Relationships between Teamwork Skills and Thinking Styles in Engineering Students)

  • This research aims to explore the relationships between 'teamwork skills' (often called team activity competence) and 'thinking styles' of engineering students in Korea, and to provide an explanation for the application of team-based environment as well as for the increase of teamwork skills. Teams and team activity are pervasive in today's organization and there has been relatively much research on teamwork skills and its related factors. However, to date, little attention has been paid to the teamwork skills, essential factor in team-based environment and its relationships with thinking styles. This study was conducted with 383 engineering students at P University, and students' teamwork skills as well as thinking styles have been measured before and after team-based learning class (hereafter TBL). Our findings show that firstly, there was a significant increase of teamwork skills between before and after TBL class. Second, team activity competence was found to have a higher correlation with most of creativity generating styles (i.e. legislative, judicial, hierarchical and global styles). Third, hierarchical style was found to influence team activity more than other components, and also legislative, external, global and judicial styles contributed to team-based activity. These findings are expected to provide an explanation for the application of thinking styles in team-based environment and will be useful for the improvement of related courses in engineering school.

브랜드 위기 유형이 브랜드 태도에 미치는 영향 : 사고방식, 자기감시성, 제품유형의 조절효과를 중심으로 (A Study of the Effects on the Brand Crisis Form toward a Brand Attitude: Focusing on the Moderating Effect of Thinking Style, Self-monitoring, and Product Type)

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine the moderate effects of self monitoring and the ways of thinking on the relationships and the moderate effects of brand credibility and brand attachment on the relationships between the negative information about a brand and the customer attitude holistic and analytic on the relationships between the negative information about a brand and customer attitude. To accomplish these purposes, this research divided negative information about a brand into corporate ability and corporate social responsibility. In addition, research also divided product type into functional product and symbolic product. participants are classified as having Low or High self monitoring. and the ways of thinking divided into holistic and analytic on the relationships between the negative information about a brand and customer attitude. The following are the summary of hypothesis test: (1)the consumers with low(high) level of self monitering are more likely to reveal high level of preference for negative information of corporate ability. (2)the consumers with analytic(holistic) ways of thinking are more likely to reveal high level of preference for negative information of corporate ability. (3)the consumers with low(high) level of self monitering are more likely to reveal high level of preference for functional product. (4)the consumers with analytic(holistic) ways of thinking aren't more likely to reveal high level of preference for functional(symbolic) product.

A Comparative Study on High School Students' Mathematical Modeling Cognitive Features

  • Comparative studies on mathematical modeling cognition feature were carried out between 15 excellent high school third-grade science students (excellent students for short) and 15 normal ones (normal students for short) in China by utilizing protocol analysis and expert-novice comparison methods and our conclusions have been drawn as below. 1. In the style, span and method of mathematical modeling problem representation, both excellent and normal students adopted symbolic and methodological representation style. However, excellent students use mechanical representation style more often. Excellent students tend to utilize multiple-representation while normal students tend to utilize simplicity representation. Excellent students incline to make use of circular representation while normal students incline to make use of one-way representation. 2. In mathematical modeling strategy use, excellent students tend to tend to use equilibrium assumption strategy while normal students tend to use accurate assumption strategy. Excellent students tend to use sample analog construction strategy while normal students tend to use real-time generation construction strategy. Excellent students tend to use immediate self-monitoring strategy while normal students tend to use review-monitoring strategy. Excellent students tend to use theoretical deduction and intuitive judgment testing strategy while normal students tend to use data testing strategy. Excellent students tend to use assumption adjustment and modeling adjustment strategy while normal students tend to use model solving adjustment strategy. 3. In the thinking, result and efficiency of mathematical modeling, excellent students give brief oral presentations of mathematical modeling, express themselves more logically, analyze problems deeply and thoroughly, have multiple, quick and flexible thinking and the utilization of mathematical modeling method is shown by inspiring inquiry, more correct results and high thinking efficiency while normal students give complicated protocol material, express themselves illogically, analyze problems superficially and obscurely, have simple, slow and rigid thinking and the utilization of mathematical modeling method is shown by blind inquiry, more fixed and inaccurate thinking and low thinking efficiency.

부가가치세 프레이밍이 가격제시방법에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향 : 사고방식의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The influence of VAT framing on the attitude toward price frame : Focused on the moderating effect of thinking style)

  • 본 연구는 제품의 가격에 부과가 되어 있는 부가가치세(Value Added Tax)를 어떻게 표시(VAT 프레임: VAT포함, VAT별도)하느냐에 따라 소비자들의 가격제시방법에 대한 태도가 달라질 수 있음을 살펴보았다. 또한 사고방식(종합적 vs. 분석적)에 따른 태도변화 즉, 조절효과도 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 실험자극물을 4가지 형태[(제품: 실용/쾌락)${\times}$(VAT: 포함/별도)]로 조작하였다. 1) 조사대상자들은 VAT별도 가격제시 방법보다 VAT포함 가격제시 방법을 더 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 2) 사고방식의 조절효과도 확인되었다. 즉 분석적 사고자의 경우에는 전자와 후자 간에 유의미한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났으며, 종합적 사고자의 경우에는 전자보다 후자를 더 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 기업의 마케팅 실무 담당자들은 이와 같은 연구결과를 고려하여 효과적인 마케팅 전략을 수립하는데 도움을 받을 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • Recent advances in technology are evolving to enable individuals to perform various activities necessary for their lives, without being constrained by physical, temporal, and spatial constraints. The online services and experiences that originated from solving the discomfort in the actual offline space have created the newness that can only be experienced in the digital world and furthermore uniquely new experiences in actual space as well. While many previous studies have suggested several interpretations of unique individual behaviors in virtual environments, a recent research approaches virtuality as an interesting perspective of the change of thinking style. Virtuality is defined as how far apart we are from everyday reality, and if the individual faces a situation far from reality, the psychological distance of the individual becomes distant and ultimately leads to the thinking style of high construal level. Otherwise, it is said to have a relatively low construal level of thinking style. In this study, I try to confirm the virtual distance as the role of psychological distance in new virtual contexts. Simultaneously considering temporal distance, which are most used in psychological distance, and virtual distance based on virtuality, this study tries to find whether the effect of virtual distance on product attitude is the same as that of temporal distance and check the relationship between virtual distance and temporal distance in the context of consumers' product evaluations depending on product information type.

과학영재와 일반학생들의 창의적 사고 편향에 대한 분석 (Analysis on Creative Thinking Leaning Between Scientifically Gifted Students and Normal Students)

  • 본 연구는 일반 학생들과 과학영재들을 대상으로 문제해결과정에서 주로 활용하고 있는 창의적 사고의 편향을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 일반 학생 144명과 과학영재 97명을 대상으로 창의적 사고의 편향을 알아보기 위하여 R/LCT, BPI를 실시하였다. R/LCT에서 일반 학생들은 우뇌 영역의 사고를 주로 활용하였고, 과학영재들은 좌뇌 영역의 사고를 주로 활용하였다. 일반학생들은 전체적 사고의 활용을 가장 선호하였고, 언어적 사고를 가장 기피하였다. 과학영재들은 논리적 사고를 가장 선호하였고, 임의적 사고를 가장 기피하였다. 일반 학생들의 좌뇌선호집단과 우뇌선호집단 간 좌뇌 영역 사고의 성향과 우뇌 영역 사고의 성향에서 모두 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 즉, 각 집단은 특정의 사고에 편향되어 문제를 해결하려는 경향이 분명하다. 그러나 과학영재들은 좌뇌선호집단과 우뇌선호집단 간 좌뇌 영역 사고 성향은 차이가 적고 주로 우뇌 영역의 사고 성향에서 차이가 크게 나타났다. 즉 과학영재들은 두 집단 모두 논리적 사고, 상징적 사고, 직선적 사고 등 좌뇌 영역의 사고를 적극적으로 활용하고 있다. 결과적으로 과학영재는 일반학생들에 비해 문제를 해결하는 과정에서 서로 다른 방식으로 문제를 해결하려고 한다. 따라서 복잡한 문제는 다양한 사고를 통하여 해결할 수 있으므로 효과적인 과학영재교육을 위하여 영재들의 창의적 사고의 편향을 고려한 교수학습방법이 요구된다.
