This study sheds light on the importance of developing creativity in mathematics class by examining the theoretical base of creativity and its relationship to mathematics. The study also reviewed the realities of developing creativity in mathematics courses, and it observed and analyzed the processes in which students and teachers solve the mathematics problems. By doing so, the study examined creative abilities of both students and teachers and suggests what teachers can do to tap the potential of the student. The subjects of the study are two groups of students and one group of mathematics teachers. These groups were required to solve a particular problems. The grading was made based on the mathematical creativity factors. There were marked differences in the ways of the solutions between of the student groups and the teacher group. It was clear that the teachers\\` thinking was limited to routine approaches in solving the given problems. In particular, there was a serious gap in the area of originality. As can be seen from the problem analysis by groups, there was a meaningful difference between the creativity factors of students and those of teachers. This study presented research findings obtained from students who were guided to freely express their creativity under encouragement and concern of their teachers. Thus, teachers should make an effort to break from their routine thinking processes and fixed ideas. In addition, teaching methods and contents should emphasize on development of creativity. Such efforts will surely lead to an outcome that is beneficial to students.
The inverse function of a one-to-one correspondence is explained with a graph, a numerical formula or other useful expressions. The purpose of this paper is to know how low achieving students understand the learning contents needed reversible thinking about irrational functions. Low achieving students in this study took paper-pencil test and their written answers were collected. They made various mistakes in solving problems. Their error types were grouped into several classes and identified in this analysis. Most students did not connected concepts that they learned in the lower achieving students to think in reverse order in case of and to visualize concepts of functions. This paper implies that it is very important to take into account students' accommodation and reversible thinking activity.
This study tried to investigate the possibility and expectation effect to organize and operate NCS(national competency standards)-based vocational education curriculum in technical specialized high schools and meister high schools and the perceptions of specialty subject teachers about support plans for effective operation of the NCS-based curriculum. For this, the survey was conducted targeting 286 specialty subject teachers in technical specialized high schools and meister high schools. And the results are as follow: First, the specialty subject teachers in the technical specialized high schools and meister high schools recognized that the positive expectation effect can be obtained through the NCS-based vocational education curriculum and the NCS-based vocational education curriculum should very much be applied to the school curriculum but it is impractical to organize and operate the NCS-based vocational education curriculum as the school curriculum from 2016. Second, the specialty subject teachers in the technical specialized high schools and meister high schools recognized that industrial education needs can be analyzed, industry duties-based educational objectives and contents can be set up, industrial duties-based education can be done, the capability to develop and operate teachers' curriculum can be improved, and the NCS-based curriculum will be effective for industrial and academic cooperation and connection with communities by applying it but the realistic possibility will relatively be low. Third, the specialty subject teachers in the technical specialized high schools and meister high schools recognized that tools for practice should be reorganized and expanded, the number of students targeting practical classes should be reduced by 15 to 20 persons, teachers' field education capability should be strengthened, supply and demand of teachers should be supported, industrial and academic cooperation-based field-centered education should be reinforced, and support of the NCS-based teaching materials to be textbooks should be required in terms of operating schools to operate the NCS-based vocational curriculum effectively. Support of finding jobs and field education which correspond with the NCS-based vocational curriculum should be provided, field instruction by ability of the national competency standards should be supported, field practice education projects about the NCS-based vocational curriculum should be provided and introduction and operation of the industrial employee performance evaluation system should be required in terms of the support plans of relevant organizations.

This study was to investigate the changes of attitudes related to science of students in high school science club through modified the creative-experience activity model program. To begin with, using the creative-experience activity model program the programs adapted to the school practices have been developed through consultation of the teachers. The developed program was performed on students in the high school science club. Then we studied the changes of attitudes related to science of students through their outcomes of the activities and face-to-face talk. The change of attitudes related to science of students is positive, especially problem-solving, curiosity, a sense of responsibility, interests toward science, interests toward science related careers, and leisure interest in science. Interest for science as hobby were influenced by used tools like telescopes and experimental tools. Interest for science class were not effective to change to positive by creative experience activity. It seems to be due to creative experience activity were not connected with science class. The program to participate in the activities was more effective than to observe with visit for the change of the attitude related to science. Also, the programs with activities contained scientific knowledge were more effective.

The subjects were 432 students(124 elementary, 122 middle, 186 high school students). We designed one group pretest-posttest study model. The data were obtained from pre and post-study with self-administered questionnaires. Before applying this education program, we evaluated the degree of awareness on milk. Their awareness on milk was very low, 35.5% lower elementary, 32.7% higher elementary, 52.5% middle, and 54.3% high school students were answered they don't know the milk well. After they had implemented milk education program, their recognition on milk had changed that milk is nutritious as supplementary food. And their reasons for drinking milk were also changed that 'they want to eat it' in elementary school students, 'they want to be healthier' in middle school students, and 'they want to be taller' in high school students. Their nutrition knowledge score showed a significant increase(p<0.05). As a results. milk nutrition education has improved nutrition knowledge and recognition on milk in elementary, middle, and high school students. To improve their milk eating behaviors, nutrition education programs will have to be continued.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception of the scientifically gifted high school students to the research and education (R&E) program. 270 scientifically gifted high school students participating in R&E program were sampled and surveyed according to the R&E' purpose, the process of topic selection, the advantage, and disadvantage of R&E. 4 students among them were interviewed in depth. Students perceived the purposes and advantages of R&E as fostering the scientist' qualifications, providing the research opportunities, and improving the inquiry ability and the disadvantages of R&E as the time consumption in research, the participation as a sideline, and the difficulty of contents. The R&E program was mainly composed of a pre-determined topic, fixed procedures, and expert's settlements in the problem-emerging situation and was not cognitive but technical apprenticeship. In addition, students considered the participation of R&E as a chance of experience about the high techniques and the valuable instruments instead of the improvement on the creative problem-solving ability. The role of mentors in the R&E program is so important that it affects largely on the productive participation and the perceptions of science and scientists.
