This study aimed to examine the research trends and to suggest future research directions in teaching-learning methods for Home Economics education, by analyzing articles published in three major academic journals in the field. From each of the research studies, the teaching-learning method, the related content area, and the learning effect measures were quantitatively codified. The data were analyzed using frequency analysis and cross-tabulations. According to the results, the number of teaching-learning method studies steadily increased since 1998 and peaked in 2010 and 2011. The most frequently studied content areas were combinations of more than two content areas, and the most frequently studied teaching-learning method was the Content-Based methods, followed by Practical Thinking/Problem Solving, and IT-Based methods. The most frequently used measures of learning effect were Knowledge/Understanding, Attitudes toward Home Economics subject, General Attitudes/Competencies, and the Attitudes toward the Instructional Method, in the order of frequencies. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the teaching-learning method research and also provide implications to the documentation of Home Economics curriculum for secondary education.

This research were to develop and apply an educational program for 6th grade students in mathematics by using level orientated teaching method and to make an analysis of their effects on students' mathematics learning achievements and mathematical disposition. Those purposes is following: First, we develop the level orientated teaching method that fits to the low level and high level students and analyze the effect on students' mathematics learning achievements. Second, we analyze the effect on students' mathematical disposition by using level orientated teaching method. The biggest problem of applying level orientated teaching method is that all the groups should do the meaningful activity while just one group is on process. So we tried to keep the proposition that level orientated teaching method should be helpful to both high and low level students. The duration of the research was about 8 weeks from march 2 to may 22 and the level orientated mathematics program consists in lesson 1 "a fraction and a decimal" to lesson 3 "The range of numbers". The results of this study are as follows : First, there was significant effect to the students, develop level orientated mathematics program and using that program. Second, there was an affirmative effect to the students about mathematical disposition using level orientated mathematics program. To sum up conclusion of this study, the level orientated mathematics program has an affirmative effect on mathematics learning achievements and mathematical disposition. We expect further research about level orientated teaching method and use effective level orientated teaching method widely.

These days, the teaching and learning system has been increasing for the rapid advancement of the information technologies. We can access education systems of good quality anytime, anywhere and we can use the individually personalized teaching and learning system depending on developing the wireless communication technology and the multimedia processing technology. The more the various systems develop, the more software security systems become important. There are a lot kind of fault analysis methods to evaluate software security systems. However, the only assessment method to evaluate software security system is not enough to analysis properly on account of the various types and characteristic of software systems by progressing information technology. Therefore, this paper proposes an integrative method of Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Fault Modes and Effect Analysis(FMEA) to evaluate the security of e-teaching and learning system as an illustration.
Elementary school students have a little awareness of privacy protection since they do not have many opportunities for systematic education on information and communication ethics. Hence, they are likely to expose their own information to others and sometimes bring on a lot of misuses by using others' information. In this paper, we provide an idea for teaching and learning methods which the elementary school students acquire privacy protection and management methods and raise their practical capabilities. We develop a role play teaching and learning model in connection with various Information and Communication Technology (ICT) activities and establish the instruction plans. Moreover, we apply them to the actual classes at grade five and six of the elementary school students respectively, and finally analyze the results. The proposed teaching and learning method shows that the students participated in a series of learning activities have higher learning effects on awareness of privacy protection than those learned with the conventional methods.

The purpose of the study is to develop effective teaching methods to strengthen the major learning capabilities of electronic engineering learners through inquiry learning using computing thinking ability. To this end, first, in the electronic engineering curriculum, we performed teaching-learning through an inquiry and learning model related to mathematics, probability, and statistics under the theme of various majors in electronic engineering, focusing on understanding computing thinking skills. Second, an efficient electronic engineering subject inquiry class operation using computing thinking ability was conducted, and electronic engineering-linked education contents based on the components of computer thinking were presented. Third, by conducting a case study on inquiry-style teaching using computing thinking skills in the electronic engineering curriculum, we identified the validity of the teaching method to strengthen major competency. In order to prepare for the 4th Industrial Revolution, by implementing mathematics, probability, statistics-related linkage, and convergence education to foster convergent talent, we tried to present effective electronic engineering major competency enhancement measures and cope with innovative technological changes.
In this paper we discuss the Socratic method from the aspects of subject education and examine the meaning of the method in mathematics education that is the most suitable subject for the realization of the Socratic method. In addition, as a realization of the Socratic method, we conducted a teaching-learning experiment of complex natural exponential function with a 2nd year college student. The results of the experiment are analyzed with the intention of improving instruction of the complex analysis that is one of the college mathematics courses.
In this paper, we introduce a modified Moore Method designed for the multivariable calculus course, and discuss about the effective teaching and learning method by observing the changes in the understanding of students' learning and the effects on students' learning in the class implemented by this modified Moore Method. This teaching experiment research was conducted with the 15 students who took the multivariable calculus course offered as a 3 week summer session in 2008 at H University. To guide the students' active preparation, stepwise course materials structured in the form of questions on the important mathematical notions were provided to the students in advance. We observed the process of the students' small-group collaborative learning activities and their presentations in the class, and analysed the students' class journals collected at the end of every lecture and the survey carried out at the end of the course. The analysis of these results show that the students have come to recognize that a deeper understanding of the subjects are possible through their active process of search and discovery, and the discussion among the peers and teaching each other allowed a variety of learning experiences and reflective thinking.

The purpose of this study were to suggest the method of sex education by designing and implementing multimedia program about sex education, to search the efficiency between a teaching using multimedia program and a teaching of traditional method. To put above aims into practice, these were required : 1. are there any differences in the alteration of sex attitude according to teaching methods. 2. are there any differences in the completion of sex knowledge according to teaching methods. 3. are there any differences in the alteration of sex attitude according to learning level and teaching methods. 4. are there any differences in the completion of sex knowledge according to learning level and teaching methods. 5. are there any differences in the alteration of sex attitude according to sex and teaching methods. 6. are there any differences in the completion of sex knowledge according to sex and teaching methods. To carry out a reseach for this purpose, the subjects for this study were 160 sixth grade students from 2 elementary schools in Pu-Chun, Kyung Ki. The tools for study were two kind of questionnaires: sex knowledge test, sex attitude test. Each test consists of 20 items. Collected data was analysed with t-test by means of SPSS program. The main results of this study are as follow: 1. The Alteration of sex attitude according to teaching methods. There was a significant difference among teaching methods(P<.001). a teaching using multimedia program was more efficient than a teaching of traditional method in the alteration of sex attitude. 2. The Completion of sex knowledge according to teaching methods. There was a significant difference among teaching methods(P<.001). a teaching using multimedia program was more efficient than a teaching of traditional method in the completion of sex knowledge. 3. The Alteration of sex attitude according to learning level and teaching methods. There was a significant difference among teaching methods in the superior class. a teaching using multimedia program was more efficient than a teaching of traditional method in the alteration of sex attitude(P<.001). However, there was not a significant difference among teaching methods in the inferior class(P>.05). 4. The Completion of sex knowledge according to learning level and teaching methods. There was a significant difference among teaching methods in the superior class. a teaching using multimedia program was more efficient than a teaching of traditional method in the completion of sex knowledge(P<.001). Also, there was a significant difference among teaching methods in the inferior class. a teaching using multimedia program was more efficient than a teaching of traditional method in the completion of sex knowledge(P<.001). 5. The Alteration of sex attitude according to sex and teaching methods. There was a significant difference among teaching methods in the man class. a teaching using multimedia program was more efficient than a teaching of traditional method in the alteration of sex attitude(P<.01). However, There was not a significant difference among teaching methods in the woman class(P>.05). 6. The Completion of sex knowledge according to sex and teaching methods. There was a significant difference among teaching methods in the man class. a teaching using multimedia program was more efficient than a teaching of traditional method in the completion of sex knowledge(P<.001). Also, there was a significant difference among teaching methods in the woman class. a teaching using multimedia program was more efficient than a teaching of traditional method in the completion of sex knowledge(P<.05).
The purpose of this research consists in understanding how the effects of Teaching Method by Questions on the achievement ability of math study and learning attitude are in the aspect of teaching and learning procedure, compared with those of the traditional teaching way. To attain the purpose, the research questions have been set up as follows: [Research Question 1] How to make a teaching plan of effective Learning by Questions\ulcorner [Research Question 2] Can Learning by Questions bring about a meaningful difference between two groups (experimental group and comparative group) in the aspect of the achievement ability of math study\ulcorner [Research Question 3] Can Learning by Questions change the Learning attitude of the students positively\ulcorner The outcome is as follows: First, it shows that the experimental group with Learning by Questions have marked more significant difference than the comparative group in the aspect of the achievement ability of math study. That is, Learning by Questions has a positive effect on the achievement ability of math study. Second, the experimental group with Learning by Questions have brought about more positive learning attitude than the comparative group without Learning by Questions.

The purpose of this study is to take advantage of the smart teaching - learning programs about the unit of 'Earth and Moon' and find out how to apply the effect appears. Teaching-Learning program was conducted over eight lessons. And we analyzed the effect of the program at any time through the evaluation and interview. The results are as follows. First, this study proposed a method to assist in the teaching and learning of spatial ability for students' movement of the Earth and the Moon. The program takes advantage of N-Screen Applications were configured to allow both Earth observation insider perspective and the external multilateral perspective. This improves students' understanding qualitatively. Second, we applied the teaching and learning programs utilizing smart smart devices, and the result was a lot of low rank students' average score rises. In addition, we were able to see that many students' understanding and interest, self-confidence are improved.
