교사용 칭찬성향 검사도구 개발 및 타당화 검증 (Development and Validation of a Teacher's Praise Disposition Scale)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and validate a teacher's praise dispositions scale(TPDS). On the basis of a literature review of praise, we developed 19 Likert-type items to measure praise dispositions of elementary and secondary school teachers. The developed scale was examined with 342 teachers. With an exploratory factor analysis we extracted 3 sub-factors of the scale consisted of 16 items; frequency, intention, and standard of praise. Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ coefficients of sub-scales were from .60 to .85 and split-half reliabilities were from .60 to .84. A confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to assess the suitability of three components model. It was found that some correlation coefficients, not all of them, between gratitude disposition and praise disposition were statistically significant. It suggested that teachers'praise disposition scale is related to gratitude disposition but is not the same scale. In conclusion, TPDS could be used to measure praise dispositions of teachers. However, for further validity and reliability, repeated research is necessary.

유아교사의 성취목표성향과 교사효능감의 관계연구 (Relationships Between Kindergarten Teachers' Achievement Orientation and Teacher Efficacy)

  • Two hundred ten kindergarten teachers participated in this investigation of the relationship between kindergarten teacher's achievement orientation and teacher efficacy. Instruments were the Teacher Efficacy Scale(Lee, 2002) and the Goal Orientation Scale(Lee, 2002). Data analyzed by ANOVA and hierarchical multiple regression analyses revealed that more highly educated and older teachers were more highly oriented toward mastery goals. Teacher high in mastery and in performance orientation exhibited higher efficacy while low mastery oriented teachers were low in efficacy. The influence of performance goal orientation significantly explained the variance in teacher efficacy. The incremental explanation on teacher efficacy by achievement goal orientation after controlling for demographic variables was statistically significant.

국공립과 사립 유치원교사의 조직효과성에 대한 사회인구학적 변인 및 임파워먼트의 영향 비교 (A Comparison of the Influence of Demographic Variables and Teacher's Empowerment on Organizational Effectiveness in Public and Private Kindergartens)

  • This study was a comparative investigation of the influence of demographic variables and teacher's empowerment on organizational effectiveness in public and private kindergartens. The subjects were 303 teachers at either public or private kindergartens. The measures used for this study were questionnaires, the SPES(School Participant Empowerment Scale) and the Organizational Effectiveness Scale. The survey used in this study and data were analyzed by means of a t-test, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression analyses. The results showed that teachers in public kindergartens had higher scores in terms of both empowerment and organizational effectiveness than teachers in private kindergartens. Empowerment was seen to be an influential factor in measuring teacher's organizational effectiveness.

예비유아교사의 교직 선택동기, 교육신념과 자기주도학습준비도의 관련 및 효과 분석 (Analysis of Relationships and Effects of Pre-service Early Childhood Teacher's Motivations of Choosing a Teaching Profession Related to Educational Belief and Self-directed Learning Readiness)

  • This study was conducted to examine the relationship between pre-service early childhood teacher's motivations of choosing a teaching profession, educational belief, and self-directed learning readiness. The sample included 308 early childhood education major students, and the data were collected using the Modified Orientation to Teach Survey (MOTS), Teaching-belief type scale, and self-directed learning readiness scale. A statistical analysis included correlation analysis and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results were as follows: 1) analysis of the relationship between pre-service early childhood teacher's motivations of choosing a teaching profession, educational belief, and self-directed learning readiness conveys that intellectual stimulation and self-directed learning had the strongest relationships while nature of work had the weakest. For educational belief and self-directed learning readiness, maturationism and interactionism showed significantly positive correlations while behaviorism displayed a negative correlation. Behaviorism had a significantly negative correlation with openness for challenge, a sub-factor of self-directed learning. 2) Analysis of the effect of pre-service early childhood teacher's motivations of choosing a teaching profession and educational belief on self-directed learning readiness indicates that pre-service early childhood teacher's motivations of choosing a teaching profession had a stronger effect on self-directed learning. These results suggest the following: successful performance as an early childhood teacher not only requires receiving institutionalized education but also self-directed learning while working as an early childhood teacher.

집단놀이치료를 활용한 유아 사회정서적 유능감 프로그램이 친사회성, 유아-교사관계 및 또래유능감에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Social-Emotional Competence Program Utilizing Group Play Therapy for Young Children on Prosociality, Teacher-Child Relation and Peer Competence)

  • The purpose of the present investigation was to analyze the effects of a social-emotional competence program utilizing group play therapy in promoting young children's prosociality, teacher-child relations and peer competence. The subjects were 90 five-year-old kindergarten children. The experimental treatment was performed in 14 sessions for 7 weeks. Instruments were the Prosocial Behavior Scale for Young Children (2003), Student-Teacher Relationship Scale (2004), and Iowa Social Competence Scales (1997). Data was analyzed by ANCOVA. Results were that the experiment group showed significantly higher social competence scores than the comparison and control groups. Conclusions were that a social-emotional competence program utilizing group play therapy can be effective in enhancing young children's improvement of prosociality, teacher-child relations, and peer competence.

초등학생을 위한 학교부적응 척도 개발 및 타당화 (Development of Techer's Rating Scale of Elementary School Student's School Maladjustment)

  • 본 연구는 초등학생의 학교부적응에 대한 교사보고형 척도를 개발하는 것이다. 초등학교교사의 응답을 통해 50개의 학교부적응 행동을 설정하였다. 하위척도를 확인하기 위하여, 60명의 교사가 240명의 학생의 행동을 평정한 자료에 대해 요인분석을 하였다. 그 결과 공격적 자기중심적 행동, 수업 및 학급규범 일탈행동, 소극적 비사회적 행동, 학교생활 적극적 기피 행동을 확인하였다. 타당도를 확인하기 위하여 120명의 학생자료에 대해 본 연구에서 개발한 척도와 초등학생 문제행동체크리스트(김혜숙, 황매향, 2009)간의 상관을 구하였고, 신뢰도를 확인하기 위하여 120명의 학생자료에 대해 본 척도의 내적합치도와 검사-재검사 신뢰도를 산출하였다. 연구결과 본 연구에서 개발한 초등학생의 학교 부적응에 대한 교사보고형 척도는 타당하고 신뢰로왔다.

유아교사의 생활지도 효능감 척도개발 연구 (A Study on Development of Early Childhood Teacher's Guidance Efficacy Scale)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 유아교사의 생활지도 효능감 개념을 규정하고, 실제 유아교육기관에서 생활지도의 구성요인을 밝혀, 유아교사의 생활지도 효능감을 객관적으로 판단할 수 있는 척도를 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 유아교사에게 요구되는 생활지도의 내용을 추출하고 국내, 외 교사효능감 이론 및 척도에 대한 고찰에 근거하여 83개 예비문항을 선정하였고 델파이방법에 의해 61개 문항을 선정하여 유아교사 243명을 대상으로 예비문항에 대한 응답을 구해 탐색적 요인 분석을 한 결과, 4요인 51문항 (문제행동지도 효능감 21문항, 유아이해 효능감 11문항, 가정연계 효능감 12문항, 기본생활습관지도 효능감 9문항)이 최종 문항으로 선정되었다. 최종척도에 대한 타당도와 신뢰도 검증을 위해 SPSS 프로그램을 사용하여 문항양호도 검증, 요인분석, 상관관계, 문항간 내적 합치도와 반분신뢰도를 산출하였다. 분석결과, 본 척도가 유아교사의 생활지도 효능감을 측정하기에 적합한 도구임이 확인되었다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 예비유아교사의 사회적지지, 대학생활 적응과 교사 효능감의 수준과 관계를 분석하고 사회적지지 및 대학생활 적응이 교사 효능감에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 한다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 전라북도와 충청북도에 소재하고 있는 3년제 유아교육과에 재학 중인 예비 유아교사 394명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 하였다. 본 연구에 사용 된 연구도구는 사회적지지 척도, 대학생활 적응 척도, 교사효능감 척도(STEBI)를 예비유아교사에게 맞게 수정, 보완하여 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 분석하기 위하여 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 이용하였으며, 빈도와 백분율, 평균과 표준편차, Pearson의 적률상관관계, 중다회귀분석을 통해 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 예비유아교사의 사회적지지 및 대학생활 적응, 교사효능감은 모두 3점 이상으로 전체적으로 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 사회적지지 및 대학생활 적응, 교사효능감 간에는 정적인 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 예비유아교사의 사회적지지 및 대학생활 적응이 교사효능감에 미치는 영향을 살펴 본 결과 모두 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

유아의 수줍음과 교사-유아 관계 간의 관계에 대한 유아 언어능력의 조절효과 (The Moderating Effect of Children's Verbal Ability in the Relation Between a Child's Shyness and Teacher-Child Relationships in Kindergarten)

  • Objective: The purpose of the present study was to explore the moderating role of children's verbal ability in the relation between shyness and teacher-child relationships. Methods: Participants were 200 children, their mothers, and their kindergarten teachers. Children's shyness was rated by their mothers and teachers, and children's verbal ability was measured using the language problem solving ability test. And teachers completed a rating scale in order to examine the teacher-child relationship. The collected data were analyzed using correlations and hierarchical multiple regressions. Results: Children's shyness had a negative relation to close teacher-child relationships. And child's verbal ability was significantly related to teacher-child relationships. Hierachical regression analysis indicted to the interaction of child's shyness and verbal ability predicted close teacher-child relationships. Children's shyness, those who demonstrated the lowest level of child's verbal ability, was significantly associated with close teacher-child relationships. Children's shyness had no significant relation to close teacher-child relationships, especially for the highest level of children's verbal ability. Conclusion/Implications: We suggested that verbal ability training for children might be valuable for shy children in order to buffer the link between shyness and teacher-child relationships.

보육교사의 직무만족도와 소진과의 관계에 대한 자아탄력성의 중재효과 (Moderating Effects of the Childcare Teacher's Ego-resilience on Relationship between Their Job Satisfaction and Burnout)

  • This study was to investigate the moderating effects of the childcare teacher‘s egoresilience on the relationship between their job satisfaction and burnout. The participants were 336 childcare teachers from Chungnam-do and Daejeon Metropolitan City. The research instruments were the Job Satisfaction Scale modified from Bently and Remple 1970), the Ego-resilience Scale from Park(1996) with CPI and CAQ correction, and Maslach Burnout Inventory from Maslash and Jackson(1981). SPSS PC program(17.0) was used for productive correlation, stepwise multiple regression and reliability by Cronbach's as data analysis. The results were as follows. Firstly, the childcare teacher’s job satisfaction and ego-resilience level were above average (M=3.37, 3.58 each), while their burnout level was below average(M=2.57). Secondly, there was a negative correlation between their job satisfaction and burnout(r=-.51), while a positive correlation was between their job satisfaction and ego-resilience(r=.34). Thirdly, the burnout and ego-resilience against job satisfaction explained 28.1%. The optimistic attitude of the childcare teacher‘s ego- resilience was shown to moderate the effects on the relationship between their burnout and job satisfaction.
