In this study, very accurate computational mechatronics method has been developed for typical N.C. machine model applying to manufacturing industry in these days. Computation analysis of high speed machine tools like N.C. machine needs consideration about mechatronical features because the machine shows close interaction between dynamic behavior of the mechanical structure, drives and numerical control. For this, nonlinear structural analysis tools based on FEM are linked numerical control program to control the dynamic behavior. In this study, we studied the dynamic feature of N.C. machine by using SAMCEF as nonlinear computational structural analysis tool and simulink as drivers.

A nonlinear finite element analysis is carried out to predict the ultimate internal pressure and failure mechanism of a 1/4 scale prestressed concrete containment vessel(PCCV) model using the commercial code ABAQUS. Therefore, this paper is mainly focused to compare the influence of concrete material model, tension stiffening parameter, uplift phenomenon and basemat. From the analysis results, nonlinear behavior of the PCCV showed a substantially different aspects in accordance with the nonlinear material model for the concrete as well as tension stiffening parameter. The boundary conditions beneath the basemat are considered to be a fixed condition and a nonlinear spring element to compare the influence of the uplift. The finite element analysis is considered with and without a basemat to find out the influence of the basemant itself. From the analysis results, the nonlinear behavior of the PCCV is entirely similar for the two cases.

Stadium stand could be led to significant dynamic response due to rhythmical activities of spectator. The dynamic loads induced by spectators movements are considered as static loads in design standard of many countries but these loads have dynamic characteristics. So, it is desirable to apply measured dynamic loads created by spectator activities and to analyze the dynamic behavior of stadium system. The precise investigation of the dynamic loads on stadium structures and the accurate analysis of dynamic behavior of stadium systems are demanded for effective design. As the floor mesh of stadium stand is refined, the number of nodes increase in numerical analysis. So it is difficult to analyze entire stadium structures and much more computer memory are necessary for vibration analysis of stadium system. In this study, the various dynamic loads induced by spectator movements are measured and analyzed. And new modeling method that reduce the nodal points of stadium systems are introduced. Vibration analysis of stadium system is executed to inspect the accuracy and the efficiency of proposed method in this paper.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the seismic behavior of reinforced concrete Containment Panel subjected to earthquake motions. A computer program, named RCAHEST(Reinforced Concrete Analysis in Higher Evaluation System Technology), was used for the analysis of reinforced concrete structures. A 4-node flat shell element with drilling rotational stiffness is used for spatial discretization. The layered approach is used to discretize behavior of concrete and reinforcement through the thickness. Material nonlinearity is taken into account by comprising tensile, compressive and shear models of cracked concrete and a model of reinforcing steel. The smeared crack approach is incorporated. Solution of the equations of motion is obtained by numerical integration using Hither-Hughes-Taylor(HHT) algorithm. The proposed numerical method for the seismic analysis of reinforced concrete Containment panel is verified by comparison of analysis results with reliable experimental results.

In order to take account of the statistical properties of probability variables used in the structural analysis, the conventional approach using the safety factor based on past experience usually estimated the safety of a structure. The real structures could only be analyzed with the error in estimation of loads, material characters and the dimensions of the members. But the errors should be considered systematically in the structural analysis. Structural safety could not precisely be appraised by the traditional structural design concept. Recently, new approach based on the probability concept has been applied to the assessment of structural safety using the reliability concept. In this study, safety of structures will estimated by the reliability analysis with commercial structural software that has the tools of nonlinear elastic-plastic 3-D analysis. Experimental test result is compared to results from this research and Coan/sup 1)/ In this paper, AFOSM(Advanced First-Order Second Moment method) is applied with von Mises, Tresca and Mohr-Coulomb failure criterions. The reliability index β and probability of failure P/sub f/ can be obtained by following this practical procedure as judgement a safety of structures and necessity of reinforcing.

Recently, adapt cases of concrete structure are increasing according to structural largeness and variety. We energetically continue to study empirical research about Steel Fiber but analytic research of Two-spans Beam With Steel Fiber to model real structure is just beginning stage. This study will suggest analytic algorithm of Two-spans Beam With Steel Fiber by comparing and analyzing deflection and strain of Two-spans Beam With Steel Fiber after we develop Nonlinear Analysis Program considering edge stress analysis.
Structural behavior of lattice girders of different loading conditions, loading patterns and shapes was analyzed by MIDAS, the finite element method. Optimal condition for lattice girders was represented.

This paper is concerned with the geometrically nonlinear behavior of elastic systems under conservative loading conditions. In particular, the topic are snap through problems and the arc-length method to pass limit points of space trusses is used. And numerical examples are presented to trace nonlinear equilibrium paths.

This study investigated to the stability of open car parks below $600^{\circ}C$, as to predict behavior of bare FR steel structure noosed to fire. Especially, This study evaluated deformation of steel structure members of open car parks, considering change of material property by temperature. From the numerical analysis, we know the fact that the deformations comparing of standard values are stable to use the FR steel below 600 $^{\circ}C$ in open car parks plan

In the present paper, for a quantitative assessment of early-age cracking in an RC wall, an improved analytical model is proposed. First of all, a three-dimensional finite element model for the analysis of stresses due to hydration heat and differential drying shrinkage is introduced. A discrete steel element derived using the equivalent nodal force concept is used to simulate reinforcing steels, embedded in a concrete matrix. In advance, to quantitatively calculate the cracking potential, an analytical model that can estimate the post-cracking behavior in an RC tension member is proposed Subsequent comparisons. of analytical results with test results verify that the combined use of both the finite element model for the stress analysis as well as the analytical model for the estimation of the post-cracking behavior in an RC tension member make it possible to accurately predict the cracking ,behavior of RC walls.
