Korea has accomplished the establishment of the National Single Window for Paperless Trade. Since 1991, it has developed Trade Automation Service System based on EDI technology. In 2003, Korean government and private sectors jointly began to set up National Paperless Trade Service( e-Trade Service) as one of the e-government projects. In 2008, they commenced the uTradeHub Service which was equipped with Internet based e-B/L and e-Nego service systems for the first time in the world To facilitate the service Korea amended its e-Trade facilitation Act and Law by 2007. At the end of 2011, Korea historically recorded its trade volume of 1 trillion US dollars and joined '$1 trillion trade club' as the 9the member country since the country had started international trade less than five decades ago. A rolling out of the e-B/L and e-Nego service will 'ally reduce the transaction costs of trading businesses and accelerate the activation e-trade services. The purposes of the study are to examine 'e-B/L Korea' service and its facilitation strategies as well as identify obstacles to utilize the 'e-B/L Korea' service. The paper reviewed and analyzed Korea's Paperless trade system and distinctive characteristics of the 'e-B/L Korea Service. Parts of the fOWld distinctive characteristics of the Korea's e-B/L service are as follows; It is well equiped with IT and legal system. It also has more that 30,000 potential users who are already uTradeHub service users. The paper indicated several weaknesses of the current system such as global KPI issues, circulation of the electronic documents not only in the domestic market but also among economies, development of the electronic Bill of Exchange. As resolution measures, the paper recommended the introduction of mutual recognition system of PKI among trade partner counties, setting up e-trade solution for small and medium companies, and special attention to raise users' awareness of the e-B/L service.
Republic of Korea is small nation that is comprised of 0.7% of the world population and occupying just 0.07% of the world territory. Despite this, Republic of Korea once again proved herself to be as the world's major economic powerhouse by becoming the world's 7th largest exporter in 2010. However, the reality is that Republic of Korea is still significantly concerned about the volatile economic nature and anxiety that is spread across the globe since the global depression that began at the end of 2008 and the financial crisis that has been threatening the Euro-Zone recently. This has resulted in the nation reaching the limitation in significant economic growth and limited creation of jobs within the nation and due to such circumstances, the nation is becoming more aware of the fact that she needs to pay more attention on the service sector and service exports if she was to see a more positive economic outlook in the upcoming future. This research is aimed to analyse the cost that is associated with the service export sector, by examining a number of enterprises in relation to the MICE(Meeting Incentives Convention Exhibition) industry which certainly has both direct and indirect influences on the service exports of the nation Further, the prime goal of the research is to encourage the SMEs of Korea, who have substandard experience associated to foreign exports, to intensify and increase service exports and also the goal extends to the degree to suggest appropriate assistance measures to aid these enterprises to achieve such goals. This research is fundamentally designed and based on the literature research associated with the MICE industry and also, this research is premeditated through the analysis of the case of exports to Vietnam. As the result of research, it has been found out that SMEs in the MICE industry and those of in service export sector are reluctant or even feel insecure to attempt any kind of export of their services mainly due to; the lack of foreign market information and also the lack of experience associated with service exports. Furthermore, it has also been revealed that the difficulty to estimate the validity and profitability of service the export is a significant factor withholding those enterprises from attempting any service export to the foreign markets. Henceforth, in order to aid and stimulate service export to the foreign markets by these SMEs (including those in association with the MICE industry), it is imperative to prepare an one-stop service export assistance program which would provide the information associated with marketing, law and legislation, taxation system and financial area in regard to the global markets.

On December 2015, Financial Supervisory Service(FSS) announced the four key thematic audit review areas, one of them is an appropriation of unbilled revenue. Accounting of unbilled revenue is intertwined with a percentage of completion, that is concerned about discretionary decision by manager. Therefore, if manager motivated by income-increasing manipulation is exaggerating percentage of completion, unbilled revenue is excessively recognized. This problem is caused the serious accounting issues(e.g., shock at a loss for 2013 fiscal year by some construction firms, malpractice of accounting in order-made production industry). Distrust of accounting was grown because the shipbuilding and construction industries successively went poor management and bad accounting of them is revealed. Those accounting issues were the trigger for problem recognition of unbilled revenue, they were background for the designation of appropriation unbilled revenue as thematic audit review areas by FSS. Therefore, this study verified effectiveness of thematic audit review by empirically analyzing whether designation of thematic audit review makes the firm increases conservative behavior. Conservative accounting is estimated by using Basu(1997) model. We analyzed the effect of the thematic audit review on conservative accounting of unbilled revenue by comparing with reflecting unbilled revenue or not. The sample for test consists of firm-years the manufacturing and construction industries from 2012 to 2017. The test results of this study suggested that the conservative accounting of unbilled revenue after designation of the thematic audit review was significantly increased. We also tested again by classifying whether or not it is construction industry. We found that construction industry is more conservative than the other industry only for the designated year of the thematic audit review, otherwise there was not any evidence for significantly increasing conservatism. This study contributes to the literature by empirically analysing relationship of the unbilled revenue to the thematic audit review from the perspective of the conservatism and verifying effectiveness of the thematic audit review.

Background: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the specialty hospital system by comparing the medical use of inpatients who had artificial joint replacement surgery in specialty hospitals and non-specialty hospitals. Methods: This study utilized 2021-2022 healthcare benefit claims data provided by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service. The dependent variable is inpatient medical use which is measured in terms of charges per case and length of stay. The independent variable was whether the hospital was designated as a specialty hospital, and the control variables were patient-level variables (age, gender, insurer type, surgery type, and Charlson comorbidity index) and medical institution-level variables (establishment type, classification, location, number of orthopedic surgeons, and number of nurses). Results: The results of the multiple regression analysis between charges per case and whether a hospital is designated as a specialty hospital showed a statistically significant negative relationship between charges per case and whether a hospital is designated as a specialty hospital. This suggests a significant low in charges per case when a hospital is designated as a specialty hospital compared to a non-specialty hospital, indicating that there is a difference in medical use outcomes between specialty hospitals and non-specialty hospitals inpatients. Conclusion: The practical implications of this study are as follows. First, the criteria for designating specialty hospitals should be alleviated. In our study, the results show that specialty hospitals have significantly lower per-case costs than non-specialty hospitals. Despite the cost-effectiveness of specialty hospitals, the high barriers to be designated for specialty hospitals have gathered the specialty hospitals in metropolitan and major cities. To address the regional imbalance of specialty hospitals, it is believed that ease the criteria for designating specialty hospitals in non-metropolitan areas, such as introducing "semi-specialty hospitals (tentative name)," will lead to a reduction in health disparities between regions and reduce medical costs. Second, it is necessary to determine the appropriateness of the size of hospitals' medical staff. The study found that the number of orthopedic surgeons and nurses varied in charges per case. Therefore, it is believed that appropriately allocating hospital medical staff can maximize the cost-effectiveness of medical services and ultimately reduce medical costs.
This study is a development of quality scale and a measurement of quality levels for the Hospital Information System(HIS) used in the hospital industry. This study is to provide decision-making guidelines for hospital managers, system analysts, and software designers, and to provide feedback for the users' information needs. The target people of the study were medical doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and clerical staff. The service contexts of usability were diagnosis/treatment, nursing, medicine preparation, and treatment fee receipt/claim. The quality factors were the efficiency, effectiveness, and satisfaction of IS09241-11. This study shows that the current domestic HISs are mostly based on patient diagnosis/treatment and treatment fee accounting, and that other quality scales are necessary according to different job categories, specializations, positions, and service domains. Especially, the low quality of HIS was found in the abnormal service processing, information sharing by outside institutions, and standardization. It may be added that the HIS should be improved and developed in these respects.

Nowadays Internet is the greatest and most participating media of prompting expression with 37 million users in Korea. Internet enables collective communications between social members and contributes to form sound public opinions and to develop democracy while it has negative aspect to distribute massively crime by illegal posting which is forbidden by the Criminal Act. Criminal actors who involve to diffuse information on Internet consist of three categories of information provider, user and internet service provider. Illegal posting generated on Internet is originated from IP and the criminal regulation on it is useless and meaningless because of its countless of users and ambiguous boundary with liberty for expression. Accordingly, the only criminal policy means to prevent danger by illegal posting on Internet is to regulate ISP which saves illegal posting and mediates contacts among users. In spite of it, legislation to regulate ISP is unprepared. The prudent legislative review should be done. And it should be accordance with the doctrines of propriety and vagueness of the principle of "nulla poena sine lege".
The reason customer satisfaction has been considered importantly in previous researches is that customer satisfaction can lead repurchase and loyalty. For a department store which tries to differentiate from other retailing stores by providing prestige services with customers, customer satisfaction is an essential element for keeping customer loyalty. Previous researches had mentioned only marketing mix to explain the customer satisfaction of department store. However, this paper would like to examine that differential services of department store can have an effect on the customer satisfaction, as well as marketing mix. As results, place(location) variable and promotion variable of four marketing mix influenced on the customer satisfaction significantly. The rest of marketing mix, product and price, were not confirmed statistically. Most of all, as an additional variable, service can have an strong effect on the customer satisfaction positively. Therefore, department store need to consider not only marketing mix but also service variable when building marketing strategies.
This study investigates the relative effect of symmetric and asymmetric relationship between franchiser and franchisee on the relational outcome of franchise alliance in education industry. To verify the research model, 240 samples, which is related with eduction service, were collected, among which 200 were used for the analysis. The outcome suggests that the asymmetric relationship in an alliance negatively influenced the relational quality, among which asymmetric alliance-specific investments had the most significant effect. On the other hand, the relational quality was positively influenced when the alliance relationship was symmetric, especially when the interactional fairness was high. Furthermore, compared to foreign franchise, local franchise presented higher level of role and responsibility imbalance, along with higher likihood of franchisees' opportunistic behaviors.
As users of mobile devices such as smart phone are rapidly growing owing to the development of information technology, interest for information retrieval and a variety of services using mobile devices is gradually increasing. Users want to get the tourist information service through the use of mobile devices and accordingly, Korea local governments are trying to provide a variety of services on the mobile tourist information via smart phone. As more interest and requirements on mobile tourist information service, researches on types and preferences of mobile tourist information, measurement of the quality of service, the user's satisfaction and re-use is currently being done. However, meanwhile, the research on the content analysis classified and investigated a wide variety of numerical rating scale such as research topics of research papers, research methodology is wholly lacking. Thus, in terms of the research need on a systematic study of the domestic mobile tourist information, this study presented the research tendencies and implications of yearly research trends, research subjects, statistical analysis techniques, research methods, research models and theories related to the mobile tourist information focusing on journals listed on the National Research Foundation of Korea.
This study is to examine the effects of marketing communications strategies which are also buying brand image and beauty services supplier discount information on consumer attitudes. Beauty service providers will have to consider that price discounts are worried impact on the brand image and purchase intentions. In this study, an empirical analysis demonstrated the impact on the brand image, price discount and discounts way. Discount in this study was shown to negatively affect the brand image, there is also a purchased showed a positive impact.
