브레인댄스 집단프로그램이 예비보육교사의 자기수용, 자기조절력에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of a Brain Dance Group Program for Pre Early Childhood Care Teachers' Self Acceptance and Self Control)

  • 본 연구는 브레인댄스 집단프로그램이 예비보육교사의 자기수용과 자기조절력에 미치는 효과 검증을 통해 보육교사의 인간적 자질 함양을 위한 방안을 모색하기 위한 실험연구이다. 연구대상은 G시에 소재한 N대학의 보육교사 자격 이수과정 학생 중 참여를 원하는 20명을 실험집단과 통제집단에 각 10명씩 무선 배정 하였다. 브레인댄스 집단프로그램 실시 전 후 조사를 통해 수집된 자료는 SPSS 14.0 for Windows를 이용하여 대응표본 t-test를 실시한 결과, 브레인댄스 집단프로그램의 자기수용과 자기조절력에 대한 긍정적인 효과가 규명되어 브레인댄스가 예비보육교사의 자기수용과 자기조절력을 향상 시킬 수 있는 유용한 매체임을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구는 브레인댄스를 활용한 다양한 교육적 프로그램을 개발하고자 하는 브레인댄스 전문가와 교육 분야 전문가를 양성하는 대학교육기관의 교사인성교육 방안 모색을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다.

간호대학생의 자아존중감, 공감, 실존적 안녕감이 영적간호역량에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Self-esteem, Empathy and Existential Well-being on Spiritual Care Competence in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify effects of self-esteem, empathy and existential well-being on spiritual care competence in nursing students. Methods: Participants were 357 nursing students from three colleges in G metropolitan city. The survey was conducted from March 11 to April 3, 2015, with a self-report questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression analysis with SPSS version 21.0. Results: Differences in spiritual care competence were statistically significant according to experience in providing spiritual care and recognition of need for spiritual care. There were significant differences in self-esteem, empathy and existential well-being according to satisfaction with major, satisfaction with life and recognition of the need for spiritual care. Spiritual care competence of nursing students showed a significantly positive correlation to self-esteem, empathy and existential well-being. Factors influencing spiritual care competence were recognition of need for spiritual care, self-esteem, empathy and experience in providing spiritual care, which explained about 16% of spiritual care competence. Conclusion: Results indicate the importance of developing an intervention program for nursing students to strengthen spiritual care competence through improved recognition of needs for spiritual care, self-esteem, empathy and experience in providing spiritual care.

당뇨병환자의 자기간호행위와 대사조절 - 2005년 국민건강영양조사에 의한 - (Self-care Behavior and Metabolic Control in Diabetic Patients - Based on the 3rd National Health and Nutrition Survey -)

  • Purpose: We analyzed the self-care behavior and metabolic control rates in diabetic patients based on the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey in Korea (2005). Methods: The study group included 311 patients who were over 126 mg/dL on the FBS test. Data were analyzed using SPSS PC WIN 12.0. Results: The average score of self-care behavior was $12.08{\pm}1.05$ points, and significantly different according to DM treatment status, disease duration (years), admission experiences (within 1 year) and education about DM. Glucose, total cholesterol, triglycerides were decreased in self care subjects, but not significantly. Conclusion: An educational program for diabetic patients would help maintain metabolic control rates to improve self-care behavior.

고등학생의 자가간호행위 영향요인 (Factors Affecting the Self Care Behavior of Korean High School Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors affecting Self Care Behavior in Korean high school students. Method: Data were collected from November 9 to December 28, 2003. The participants in this study were 293 students(134 boys, 159 girls), recruited from two High School located in Seoul. Data collection was conducted through the use of Questionnaire that was modified by the investigator. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, Pearson Correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression. The SPSS win 10.0 program was used. Results: The mean of total item score the Self Care Behaviors scales was 3.37, which was slightly low. There was a significant correlation between Self Care Behavior, Hope, Social Support, and Self Care Agency(γ= .30 ~ .65, p<.001). Stepwise multiple regression analysis showed that Self Care Agency was a predictor of Self Care Behavior and accounted for 28% of the variance. Self Care Agency account for 31% of the variance in Self Care Behavior in the high school girls. Self Care Agency and Hope accounted for 27% of the variance in Self Care Behavior in High school boys. Conclusion: Self Care Agency accounted for variance in Self Care Behavior in these high school students. Therefore it is necessary to develop nursing interventions to increase Self Care Agency in high school students in order to increase the Self Care Behavior.

간이식 수혜자의 불확실성, 자기효능감 및 사회적 지지와 자가간호 수행 간의 관계 (Relationship between Uncertainty, Self Efficacy, Social Support, and Self-Care Performance in Liver Transplant Recipients)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to determine the correlation between uncertainty, self efficacy, social support, and self-care performance among liver transplant recipients. Methods: Participants comprised 111 liver transplant recipients who visited the outpatient clinic at the hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery department of a hospital in D city. Data were collected from September to October 2021 using self-report questionnaires, and were analyzed by the SPSS 23.0 program. Results: Self-care performance was correlated with uncertainty (r=-.31, p=.001), self efficacy (r=.22, p=.023), and social support (r=.38, p<.001). Conclusion: To improve self-care performance in liver transplant recipients, it is necessary to develop nursing interventions that can reduce uncertainty and enhance self efficacy and social support.

보육교사의 직무만족도와 자아존중감 (Child Care Teacher's Job Satisfaction and Self-Esteem)

  • This study examined the child care teachers' job satisfaction in relation to their self-esteem and the differences in their job satisfaction by demographic variables. Subjects were 285 child care teachers in Chungnam province. The instruments were 'Teachers' Job Satisfaction Scale' and 'Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale'. The collected data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, stepwise multiple regression(forward), Duncan test for a post hoc test, Cronbach's a for reliability, and factor analysis by SPSS PC program(10.0 version). The results were as follows; first, child care teachers' job satisfaction and self-esteem were above average. Second, child care teachers' total job satisfaction was high in high school graduation and married status and their self-esteem was high in over 5 years career, married status, and over 40 years old. Third, the correlation coefficient was -.29 in relation of teacher's job satisfaction and self-esteem. Finally, teachers' self-esteem and demographic variables explained about 622%.

보건소 진료실을 이용한 개별보건교육이 고혈압혼자의 지식, 자기효능감, 자가간호행위에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Individual Health Education the Medical Clinic of Public Health Centers on Knowledge, Self-efficacy, and Self-care behavior in Clients with Hypertension)

  • This study focused on individual health education for people with hypertension who were being seen in public health centers. The program was an adjusted intervention program that considered the characteristics of each individual and reflected the individual's will to change. Each individual had a different lifestyle with different characteristics and habits so the study considered these individual's characteristics. A comparison was done of knowledge related to hypertension, self-efficacy, and self-care in these individuals. In order to determine the effectiveness of education given by the nurses the variables were measured before and after the individual health education program. The participants in this study were 85 people with hypertension who were seen at a public health center in G city. They were assigned to an experimental group (43) and a control group (42). A tool developed by Park Young-Im (1994) was used to measure knowledge related to hypertension and self-efficacy. A tool developed by Lee Young-Whee (1994) was used for self-care. Data collection was done for 10 weeks from March 24 to May 31, 2003 using interviews with questionnaires. The following is a summary of the results of the study. Hypothesis 1, 'the experimental group which had the individual health education will have higher knowledge scores on hypertension than the control group that did not have the individual health education' was supported (t=4.17, P=0.00). Hypothesis 2, 'the experimental group which had the individual health education will have higher self-efficacy scores than the control group that did not have the individual health education' was supported (t=4.06, P=0.00). Hypothesis 3, 'the experimental group which had the individual health education will have better self-care ability than the control group that did not have the individual health education' was supported (t=4.94, P=0.00). Based on the results of this study, the public health centers should develop an educational program that uses a variety of visual aids and assess the effects of the education on patients with different chronic diseases. After the development of an inclusive education program which will standardize health education effectively and provide a variety of teaching methods, study is needed to measure changes in lifestyle after education and to determine how much knowledge related to hypertension, self-efficacy, and self-care increase

자조활동 훈련 프로그램이 만성 뇌졸중 환자의 상지 운동기능 및 자기효능감에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Self Care Training Program on Motor Function of Upper Limb and Self-Efficacy in Chronic Stroke Patients)

  • 본 연구는 만성 뇌졸중 환자를 대상으로 과제 지향적 훈련을 기반으로 하는 자조활동 프로그램이 상지 운동기능 및 자기효능감에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 지역사회에 거주하는 만성 뇌졸중 환자 20명을 대상으로 연구를 진행하였다. 자조활동 훈련 프로그램은 상지 과제 지향적 훈련으로 총 6주간, 주 4회 40분의 프로그램으로 구성하였으며, 매주 1회 집단훈련을 통해 훈련 프로그램을 점검하였다. 상지 운동기능의 변화를 알아보기 위해 맨손기능 검사, 악력 검사를 실시하였으며, 자기효능감 변화를 알아보기 위해 자기효능감 척도를 이용하여 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 상지 운동기능 검사 결과, 자조활동 훈련 전에 비해 자조활동 훈련 후 맨손기능과 악력이 모두 증가되었으며, 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내었다(p<.05). 자기효능감 변화를 관찰한 결과, 자조활동 훈련 전에 비해 자조활동 훈련 후 자기효능감이 향상되었으며, 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내었다(p<.05). 이상의 결과를 종합해 볼 때 과제 지향적 훈련을 기반으로 하는 자조활동 훈련 프로그램이 만성 뇌졸중 환자의 상지 운동기능 향상에 효과적이며, 과제 성취감을 경험하게 함으로써 신체의 운동기능 회복뿐만 아니라 자기효능감에도 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것을 알 수 있었다.

아동의 건강과 안전에 대한 보육교사 교육프로그램의 효과 (Effect of an Education Program on Child Health and Safety for Child Care Teachers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of an education program on child health and safety for teachers in child daycare centers. Method: Using a nonequivalent one group pretest-posttest design, 41 day care staff(N=41) from 12 day care centers in Seoul and D-gun in Chung-Nam were assigned to experimental group. A program that is appropriate for preventing injuries and protecting the health of young children at child daycare centers was developed. Health and safety education program was provided for the intervention group for 2 weeks two times. Results: After education session, the mean score of knowledge, self confidence, practice on safety and health in child care teachers were significantly increased. There were significant differences in the degree of knowledge according to education, and in the degree of practice according to age. Conclusions: The education program for child care teachers was effective in promoting knowledge, self confidence and practice on child health and safety. The results suggest that health and safety education program should be provided systematically and continuously for child care teachers.

Effects of self-care intervention using a mobile instant messenger on hemodialysis patient's knowledge, self-efficacy, self-care behavior and physiological index

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of self-care intervention using a mobile instant messenger on hemodialysis patient's knowledge, self-efficacy, self-care behavior and physiological indices. Methods: A non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design was used. The participants consisted of 38 patients who had a regular hemodialysis of Seoul National University Hospital. They were assigned to one of two groups; an experimental group (n = 19) that had self-care intervention for 8 weeks and a control groups (n = 19) that had routine hemodialysis treatment. The data collection was conducted from September 5, 2022 to October 29, 2022. The date were analyzed by Chi-square test, Independent t-test, and Fisher's exact test using SPSS Win 29 program. Results: There was a significant difference in self-efficacy (t = 3.42, p = .002) between experimental and control groups. There was no significant differences between the two groups in knowledge (t = 0.80, p = .428), self-care behavior (t = 0.09, p = .929), potassium (t = -0.82 p = .416), phosphorus (t = -0.03, p = .974), weight gain (t = 0.16, p = .867). Conclusion: Based on above results, it was verified that self-care intervention in this study was an effective indicator in improving the self-efficacy. There is a requirement to formulate comprehensive interventions capable of enhancing various indicators.
