The purpose of this study was to investigate the seroprevalence of paratuberculosis in Korean cattle in western Jeonbuk area. From February 2012 to January 2013, blood samples were collected from 2,606 Korean cattle of 263 farms. As a result, 60 (2.3%) heads of 46 (17.5%) farms were positive on the ELISA test for paratuberculosis. Based on regional analysis, 18 (19.6%) out of 92 farms and 24 (2.5%) out of 941 heads in Iksan area, 28 (22.0%) out of 127 farms and 36 (2.8%) out of 1,291 heads in Kimje area were positive but samples from Gunsan area were all negative. According to scale breeding, small scale (below 50 heads) breeding showed the most high prevalence rate compared to middle (50 to 99 heads) or large (over 100 heads) scale breeding. To clarify the relation between number of heads and paratuberculosis prevalence, some additional analysis would be required in further, though.

The purpose of this study is to develop a valid and reliable infant observation scale based on the national curriculum for childcare centers. The study was carried out using the final draft of the Infant Observation Scale for 1 year old infants. The scale consists of 42 items in 6 areas. Whereas the final draft of the Infant Observation Scale for 2 year old infants consists of 52 items in 6 areas. The subjects of this observation scale were 120 infants from the city of Busan. The results of the Infant Observation Scale for the 1 year old infant analysis for the purpose of test adequacy indecates that the internal consistency reliability is from .88 to .97. The results of the Infant Observation Scale for 2 year old infant analysis for test adequacy shows that the internal consistency reliability is from .76 to .97.

The present paper describes the scale effect correction methods for scaled NREL Phase VI wind turbines by using CFD[computational fluid dynamics). For the corrections of wind turbine scale effect, various researches on the helicopter rotor scale effect were investigated and the feasibility study of the methods was performed to correct wind turbine scale effect. The present paper also introduces scale effect correction methods based on two dimensional lift slope. In order to test the present method, performance analyses of NREL Phase VI wind turbines under various scale conditions were carried out and new correction method was applied. Granting that the new correction method is valid only above Reynolds No. 100,000, it showed reasonable agreement between model and full scale wind turbines in the linear torque region.

The purpose of this study was to develop a scale for the evaluation of the subjective fabric hand. In order to find out the appropriate method for the evaluation, bipolar adjectives were compared to unipolar adjectives. One hundred female university students we.e selected as judges. They assessed 9 fabrics using the 9 point scale system for both bipolar and unipolar adjectives. When using the bipola. scale, judges responded more consistently showing smaller deviation among their responses. The Judges seemed to understand the meanings of adjectives in the bipolar scale more clearly than in the unipolar scale. Unipolar scale has twice the number of questions than bipolar scale does. Therefore. judges often felt bored responding to the questions using unipolar adjectives. If the appropriate antonym can be found through verified method, bipolar scale seems to have more advantages than unipolar scale.

It is important to understand patients' anxiety and fear about dental treatment. A patient's anxiety can be quantified through a self-report questionnaire, and many related scales have been developed. In this review, I tried to find out which scale is most suitable for the patient's dental anxiety and fear evaluation by examining the contents of previously developed scales and comparing the strengths and weaknesses of each scale.

Computer simulations have played a central role in the development of out understanding of the atomic scale processes involved in crystal growth. The assumptions underlying computer modeling will be discussed and out recent work on modeling of the kinetic formation of thermodynamically unstable phases in alloys or mixtures will be reviewed. Our Monte Carlo computer simulations have reproduced the experimental results on the rapid recrystallization of laser-melted doped silicon. An analytical model for this phenomenon has been developed, and its applicability to other materials will be discussed.

Background: Consumption of tobacco in the form of a water pipe has recently increased, especially among young people. This study aimed to develop a scale which would be used in order to detect perceptions about the effects of water pipe smoking on health and to test its validity and reliability. Our scale named "a scale of perception about the effects of water pipe smoking on health" was developed in order to detect factors effecting the perception of adolescents about the effects of water pipe smoking on health. Materials and Methods: The sample consisted of 150 voluntary students in scale development and 750 voluntary students in the study group. Data were collected via a questionnaire prepared by researchers themselves and 5-pont Likert scale for "a scale of perception about the effects of water pipe smoking on health" which was prepared through the literature. Data evaluation was carried out on a computer with SPSS. Results: The findings of the study showed that "a scale of perception about the effects of water pipe smoking on health" was valid and reliable. Total score average of the adolescents participated in the study was $58.5{\pm}1.25$. The mean score of the ones who did not smoke water pipe ($60.1{\pm}11.7$) was higher than the mean score of the ones who smoked water pipe ($51.6{\pm}13.8$), the difference being statistically significant. Conclusions: It is established that "a scale of perception about the effects of water pipe smoking on health" was a reliable and valid measurement tool. It is also found out that individuals who smoked a water pipe had a lower level of perception of water pipe smoking effects on health than their counterparts who did not smoke a water pipe.

Since the contents of large-scale repair of a condominium were various, a plan document was not prepared. The owners association of the condominium has given priority to decision-making of price priority over quality. Examination is not performed about the contents of the construction supervision business, which checks whether suitable construction is performed, either. On the other hand, the know-how for builders, such as decision of the process plan under which the repair work lessens influence to the safety and life as much as possible since the place where the resident is living turns into a construction site, and selection of a method of construction, is just going to ask. It is an important subject how the structure of the construction contractor selection, which considered quality, is built. Then, this research focuses on large-scale repair construction of the condominium, and arranges the actual condition of a series of processes from plan document creation to construction supervision. The method of research collects the construction documents of the condominium that carried out Barge-scale repair construction. Next, collection arrangement of the data of construction builder selection is carried out. The method of the construction builder selection of those other than a construction price is examined. The method of quality control of large-scale repair construction is examined.
