  • Let (R, $m_R$, k) be a local maximal commutative subalgebra of $M_n$(k) with nilpotent maximal ideal $m_R$. In this paper, we will construct a maximal commutative subalgebra $R^{ST}$ which is isomorphic to R and study some interesting properties related to $R^{ST}$. Moreover, we will introduce a method to construct an algebra in $MC_n$(k) with i($m_R$) = n and dim(R) = n.

  • In this study, new properties of various filters on a Sheffer stroke BL-algebra are studied. Then some new results in filters of Sheffer stroke BL-algebras are given. Also, stabilizers of nonempty subsets of Sheffer stroke BL-algebras are defined and some properties are examined. Moreover, it is shown that the stabilizer of a filter with respect to a/n (ultra) filter of a Sheffer stroke BL-algebra is its (ultra) filter. It is proved that the stabilizer of the subset {0} of a Sheffer stroke BL-algebra is {1}. Finally, it is stated that the stabilizer St(P, Q) of P with respect to Q is an ultra filter of a Sheffer stroke BL-algebra when P is any filter and Q is an ultra filter of this algebra.

  • In this paper, we provide a classification of arithmetic functions in terms of identically-free-distributedness, determined by a fixed prime. We show then such classifications are free from the choice of primes. In particular, we obtain that the algebra $A_p$ of equivalence classes under the quotient on A by the identically-free-distributedness is isomorphic to an algebra $\mathbb{C}^2$, having its multiplication $({\bullet});(t_1,t_2){\bullet}(s_1,s_2)=(t_1s_1,t_1s_2+t_2s_1)$.

  • We find a graded Artinian level O-sequence of the form $H\;:\;h_0\;h_1\;\cdots\;h_{d-1}\;h_d\cdots$ $^{(d+1-1_)-st}h_d$ < $h_{d+s}$ not having the Weak-Lefschetz property. We also introduce several algorithms for construction of some examples of non-unimodal level O-sequences using a computer program called CoCoA.

  • An architectural framework is developed for integrating geospatial and temporal data with relational information from which a spatio-temporal data warehouse (STDW) system is built. In order to implement the STDW, a generic conceptual model was designed that accommodated six dimensions: spatial (map object), temporal (time), agent (contractor), management (e.g. planting) and tree species (specific species) that addressed the 'where', 'when', 'who', 'what', 'why' and 'how' (5W1H) of the STDW information, respectively. A formal algebraic notation was developed based on a triplet schema that corresponded with spatial, temporal, and relational data type objects. Spatial object structures and spatial operators (spatial selection, spatial projection, and spatial join) were defined and incorporated along with other database operators having interfaces via the generic model.

  • The educational environment in the digital age of the 21st century definitely affects teaching and learning methods to be changed. In addition, the perceptions and methods of mathematics education in the digital age have also been changing. This study proposes a university mathematics education model suitable for the digital age, which makes full use of the internet/digital environment and leads the students to participate in the learning processes. We apply the proposed model to Linear Algebra course, and present a concrete method of teaching and learning model including evaluation. This will be the first study on how to organize and operate digital courses in Korea in accordance with the mathematics education in the digital era which is rapidly spreading around the world.

  • For a Borel function ${\psi}:\mathbb{R}{\times}\mathbb{R}{\rightarrow}\mathbb{R}$ satisfying the functional equation $\psi$ (s + t, u + v) + $\psi$(s - t, u - v) = $2\psi$(s, u) + $2\psi$(t, v), we show that it satisfies the functional equation $$\psi$$(s, t) = s(s - t)$$\psi$$(1, 0) + $$st\psi$$(1, 1) + t(t - s)$$\psi$$(0, 1). Using this, we prove the stability of the functional equation f(ax + ay, bz + bw) + f(ax - ay, bz - bw) = 2abf(x, z) + 2abf(y,w) in Banach modules over a unital $C^*$-algebra.

  • The importance of the mathematical education on the ICT environment has been increased as the educational environment has been changed in 21st century. In Korea, many researches on ICT tools have appeared over the last 10 years. But most of researches are depending on the foreign tools, that was one major obstacle on adapting them in our mathematics curriculum. But we found the new open source tool which is called Sage-Math can be in effective solution to resolve those problems. Now we produce what we have done in linear algebra with this Sage-Math and mobile modules.
