  • On page 366 of his lost notebook [15], Ramanujan recorded a cubic continued fraction and several theorems analogous to Rogers-Ramanujan's continued fractions. In this paper, we derive several general formulas for explicit evaluations of Ramanujan's cubic continued fraction, several reciprocity theorems, two formulas connecting V (q) and V ($q^3$) and also establish some explicit evaluations using the values of remarkable product of theta-function.

  • Motivated by the extension of classical Dixon's summation theorem for the series $_3F_2$ given by Lavoie, Grondin, Rathie and Arora, the authors aim at deriving four generalized summation formulas, which, upon specializing their parameters, give many summation identities including, especially, the four very interesting summation formulas due to Ramanujan.

  • Adiga and Anitha [1] investigated the Ramanujan's continued fraction (18) to present many interesting identities. Motivated by this work, by using known formulas, we also investigate the Ramanujan's continued fraction (18) to give certain relationships between the Ramanujan's continued fraction and the combinatorial partition identities given by Andrews et al. [3].

  • The authors aim at deriving four generalized summation formulas, which, upon specializing their parameters, give many summation identities including, especially, the four very interesting summation formulas due to Ramanujan. The results are derived with the help of generalized Dixon's theorem obtained earlier by Lavoie, Grondin, Rathie, and Arora.

  • In a recent systematic study, C. Sandon and F. Zanello offered 30 conjectured identities for partitions. As a consequence of their study of partition identities arising from Ramanujan's formulas for multipliers in the theory of modular equations, the present authors in an earlier paper proved three of these conjectures. In this paper, we provide proofs for the remaining 27 conjectures of Sandon and Zanello. Most of our proofs depend upon known modular equations and formulas of Ramanujan for theta functions, while for the remainder of our proofs it was necessary to derive new modular equations and to employ the process of duplication to extend Ramanujan's catalogue of theta function formulas.

  • In this paper, we obtain an analytical solution for an unsolved definite integral RC (m, n) from a 1915 paper of Srinivasa Ramanujan. We obtain our solution using the hypergeometric approach and an infinite series decomposition identity. Also, we give some generalizations of Ramanujan's integral RC (m, n) defined in terms of the ordinary hypergeometric function 2F3 with suitable convergence conditions. Moreover as applications of our result we obtain nine new infinite summation formulas associated with the hypergeometric functions 0F1, 1F2 and 2F3.

  • Very recently, Rakha and Rathie obtained an extension of the classical Saalsch$\ddot{u}$tz's summation theorem. Here, in this paper, we first give an elementary proof of the extended Saalsch$\ddot{u}$tz's summation theorem. By employing it, we next present certain extenstions of Ramanujan's result and another result involving hypergeometric series. The results presented in this paper are simple, interesting and (potentially) useful.

  • In the current study, our aim is to define new generalized extended beta and hypergeometric types of functions. Next, we methodically determine several integral representations, Mellin transforms, summation formulas, and recurrence relations. Moreover, we provide log-convexity, Turán type inequality for the generalized extended beta function and differentiation formulas, transformation formulas, differential and difference relations for the generalized extended hypergeometric type functions. Also, we additionally suggest a generating function. Further, we provide the generalized extended beta distribution by making use of the generalized extended beta function as an application to statistics and obtaining variance, coefficient of variation, moment generating function, characteristic function, cumulative distribution function, and cumulative distribution function's complement.

  • Very recently the authors have obtained a very interesting reduction formula for the Srivastava's triple hypergeometric series $F^{(3)}$(x, y, z) by applying the so-called Beta integral method to the Henrici's triple product formula for the hypergeometric series. In this sequel, we also present three more interesting reduction formulas for the function $F^{(3)}$(x, y, z) by using the well known identities due to Bailey and Ramanujan. The results established here are simple, easily derived and (potentially) useful.
