가속도 센서를 이용한 사고방지 시스템 설계에 관한 연구 (A study on the design of an accident prevention system using an acceleration sensor)

  • 본 논문은 3축 가속도센서를 이용한 사고를 방지하기위한 시스템 설계에 관한 연구이다. 전원 공급단에 스위칭 파워 FET를 구성하였고, 전원 공급장치는 DC-DC, 레귤레이터, LDO를 설계하였다. 전원 문제를 한번에 해결하기 위해 2원화를 하였으며, 3축 가속도 센서를 설계하여 움직임 정보를 추출하여 안전하게 사고를 예방할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 마이크로프로세서는 I2C, UART 통신 포트를 통해 통신할 수 있도록 하였으며, J-LINK를 통해 디버깅 할 수 있도록 하였다. 가속도 센서 데이터 측정결과 30° 이상의 각도의 움직임을 감지했을 때 정상적으로 사고 방지를 위해 전원이 차단되는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다.

  • In today's civilization, it can be impossible to prevent disasters that cause large-scale human and material harm, and the environmental industry is not excepted from this. Over the last 50 years, several large and small environmental health catastrophes have occurred in Korea. Notable instances include the phenol pollution accident in the Nakdong River, the Hebei Spirit oil spill in Taean, Chungcheongnam-do, and the humidifier disinfectant disaster. Looking at these instances, it is clear that the government failed to prevent similar incidents and accidents after the tragedies. The government created and executed different policies to prevent such incidents and accidents, but the majority of them were highly fragmented. It is understandable that depending on the political and social level of the society in which the environmental health hazard incident/accident happened, the investigation of the cause, countermeasures, and policy reaction may differ. To put it another way, the more authoritarian and non-democratic a political social system is, the more likely it is to cover up occurrences and accidents without a deep examination. This is in line with the members of society's level of political awareness and acknowledgment of the importance of life and safety. In 1985, when the Onsan pollution disease was discovered, and in 2011, when we recognized the realities of the humidifier disinfectant disaster, South Korea's political and social systems were entirely different.

겨울철 도시부 노면결빙사고 발생에 미치는 요소에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effects of Factors of Traffic Accidents Caused by Frozen Urban Road Surfaces in the Winter)

  • PURPOSES: According to accident statistics for road built in 2004, the ratio of accidents on frozen roads to normal roads is 0.9%, whereas the fatality ratio is 2.7%. The risk of accidents on frozen roads is very high. Measures taken every year to prevent traffic accidents of frozen roads in the winter season are still insufficient. Additionally, measures have been established mainly on rural roads. Therefore, for urban roads, analyses and measures to prevent accidents are lacking. In this study, data on accidents on frozen roads was used to search for the causes behind these accidents and measures to reduce accidents have been recommended. METHODS: In this study, collected data from the TAMS (Traffic Accident Management System), which were collected by the Seoul National Police Agency was used. The data were divided into vehicle, people, and condition of road. The analytical model used here was the Logistic Regression Model, which is frequently used for traffic safety and accident analysis. This study uses the odds ratio analysis to search for variables related to frozen road traffic accidents in each category. A total of 18 out of 47 variables were found to be the causes of accidents. RESULTS: From the results of the comparative analysis of 18 variables, the category of the condition of the road was found to be the most critical. Contrary to expectations, more accidents occurred in clear weather than in other conditions. Accidents on bridges occurred frequently, and its odds ratio was the highest compared with other road types. When BPT is operated, the probability of accidents on frozen roads is lower than in general conditions, and accidents occurred frequently on roads with less than four lanes. CONCLUSIONS : Based on the results of this study, suggestions for reducing the risk of future domestic road accidents in freezing conditions are indicated as follows. First, it is necessary to perform a technical review of the urban road traffic accidents caused by frozen roads. Second, it is necessary to establish criteria for the study of the road environment based on the major causes of road accidents on frozen roads. Third, improvements in urban road environmental factors should be made.

이륜자동차 안전검사제도 도입 시 기대효과 분석 (An Analysis for Expected Effect of the Introduction of Motorcycle Safety Inspection)

  • PURPOSES : This study is to analyze expected effect of a accident decrease when motorcycle safety inspection is introduced. METHODS : Based on the literature review of effect of 4-wheel vehicle inspection, probability of occurring accidents among defective motorcycles are calculated by using the number of estimated defective motorcycles and accidents resulting from defects of motorcycles. Then, the number of decreased accidents which is resulting from eliminating defects of motorcycles by safety inspection is estimated by using probability of occurring accidents among defective motorcycles. RESULTS : If the ratio of eliminating defects of motorcycles is 95% after motorcycle safety inspection, the effects of accident decrease of motorcycle safety inspection are analyzed from 2005 to 2008. As a result, 46,292 defective motorcycles are repaired and 1,376 accidents are prevented when the probability of occurring accidents among defective motorcycles is 2.97%. CONCLUSIONS : This study suggests the expected effect of motorcycle safety inspection is that the inspection can prevent 1,376 motorcycle accidents. However, the number of preventing motorcycle accidents are small, compared with the total number of motorcycle accidents because there are limitations to investigate the causes of defective motorcycle accidents. A more precise analysis of the expected effect of motorcycle inspection is possible when a systematic investigation of the causes of the accidents is implemented.

  • The main objective of the statistical analysis about industrial accidents is to find out what is the dangerous factor in its own industrial field so that it is possible to prevent or decrease the number of the possible accidents by educating those who work in the fields for safety tools. However, so far, there is no technique of quantitative evaluation on danger. Almost all previous researches as to industrial accidents have only relied on the frequency analysis such as the analysis of the constituent ratio on accidents. As an application of data mining technique, this paper presents analysis on the efficiency of the CHAID algorithm to classify types of industrial accidents data and thereby identifies potential weak points in accident risk grouping.

중소기업 중대재해 예방에 관한 연구: 화물운송차량를 중심으로 (A Study on the Prevention of Serious Accident in Small Business: Focusing on Cargo Transport Vehicles)

  • Since 2024, small business are also going to be ruled under the Serious Accident Punishment Act. As the scope of the law expands, the small logistics companies are required to pay more attention on preventing serious accidents on the field. Freight vehicle accidents can cause personnel accidents and cargo accidents which are the two serious accidents that the Serious Accident Punishment Act is trying to prevent. The purpose of this research are to study the factors that cause the serious accidents that happens in the small logistics companies and to suggest preventive. The results of the study shows that fall prevention is the top-priority and then driving experience, safety management, and cargo driving hours. However, the gaps between the evaluation values of each are not huge, which means all the preventives are significant.

  • The fall accidents have been occurred continuously although the efforts to prevent fall accidents have been made constantly. On the other hand, the U.S.A executes the policy improvements and various prevention system then, as a result, the fall accidents of the U.S.A. construction industry are greatly decreased. Therefore, the objective of this study is to investigate the causes and prevention system regarding fall accidents between South Korea and U.S.A. The findings of this study can be utilized to decrease fall accidents of South Korea as a basic material.

교정과영역의 의료사고 및 분쟁의 성격분석 (Analysis of Characteristics of Medical Accidents and Disputes in Orthodontic Area)

  • 건강과 의료에 관심 이 높아지면서 의료수요는 날로 증가하게 되었고 이에 따르는 의료분쟁 또한 증가하는 추세이다. 교정치료와 관련하여 현재 급증하고 있는 의료사고 및 의료분쟁 사항을 조사하여 예방 및 대응책을 마련하고자 대한 치과교정학회주관으로 인정의위원회에서는 30항의 설문지를 작성하였고 1998년 7월에 교정학회 회원 2,200명을 대상으로 교정치료시 의료사고 유형 파악 및 예방을 위한 설문조사를 시행하였다. 그 내용은 의료사고나 분쟁을 경험한 회원들의 인적사항을 포함한 관련사항, 의료사고와 관련된 환자의 인적사항 및 의료사고 원인 및 해결방법, 회원들의 교정치료와 관련된 주의사항, 의무기록 작성 및 보관 등에 관한 사항이었으며 그 결과를 바탕으로 교정과 영역에서의 의료사고 및 의료분쟁의 성격 분석을 하였다. 현재의 상황에서 언제 어디서 일어날지 모르는 의료사고나 의료분쟁을 예방하거나 방지하는 것이 의료분쟁이 발생한 후 해결하는 것보다 더 중요하다. 이를 위해서는 환자와 의사간의 신뢰를 바탕으로 진료기술의 숙련도를 높이고 발전하는 새로운 의학 정보를 얻는데 게으르지 말아야하며 진단, 치료과정, 치료의 후유증, 위험성에 관한 자세한 설명을 통하여 환자 스스로 치료여부를 결정할 수 있는 의료환경을 만들어 나가야할것이며 환자를 대하는데 주의를 기울이며 가장 기본적인 진료기록부 작성과 관리에 관심을 가져야 할 것이다. 교정학회차원에서도 의료사고와 분쟁의 예방과 대응책에 관한 교육프로그램과 의료사고와 분쟁이 발생할 경우 도움을 줄 수 있는 대책이나 기구 등을 마련하여야할 것이다.

해양안전심판원의 인적구성의 문제점 및 개선방안 (Problems and Ways of Improving on Personal Organization of Maritime Safety Tribunal)

  • The purpose of Maritime Safety Tribunal is that experts about ship operation investigate and reveal causes of marine disasters and suggest plans to prevent recurrence in Korean Maritime Safety Tribunal which is a kind of administrative court. Despite the fact that 72% of marine disasters is fishing vessel accidents and 75% of collision accidents between vessels which most occur is related to fishing boats, it is the very serious problem that there is no any person with licenses of marine technicians for fishing vessels in judges and investigators of Korean Maritime Safety Tribunal. The operational characteristics of fishing vessels, their sizes, and shift patterns of duties in wheelhouses are completely and incommensurably different from those of merchant vessels. By the way, if the investigators and judges who just consist of merchant vessel experts investigate and judge marine accidents about fishing vessels, there could be errors in establishment of policies to investigate and reveal their causes and prevent recurrence of accidents. Especially, in case of collision accidents between fishing vessels and merchant vessels, it is thought that the marine accident interested provides causes which can be doubtful about fairness of judges. Therefore, it is thought that the ratio of judges and investigators is most desirable to compose it to be similar to the occurrence frequency of marine accidents. For this, the following solution plans are suggested. First, qualification for appointment requires first class marine technicians. But there is the only one vessel which needs the first class in fishing vessels. Therefore, it is thought that the provisory clause should be added so that the second class marine technicians can be used instead of the first class ones. Second, the marine accidents of fishing vessels reach 72% but the fact that there is no any judge and investigator with licenses of marine technicians for fishing vessels is thought to go against the purpose of establishment of Korean Maritime Safety Tribunal. Therefore, it is thought that there is, at least, one more judges and investigators in the central and local Korean Maritime Safety Tribunals. The same method should be applied to judge assistants and investigation assistants.
