  • In this paper, we find induced differential equations to give explicit identities of these polynomials from the generating functions of 2-variable mixed-type Hermite polynomials. Moreover, we observe the structure and symmetry of the zeros of the 2-variable mixed-type Hermite equations.

  • This paper is a sequel to our paper [3]. Although polynomials in the tianyuanshu induce perfectly the algebraic structure of polynomials, the tianyuan(天元) is always chosen by a specific unknown in a given problem, it can't carry out the role of the indeterminate in ordinary polynomials. Further, taking the indeterminate as a variable, one can study mathematical structures of polynomials via those of polynomial functions. Thus the theory of polynomials in East Asian mathematics could not be completely materialized. In the previous paper [3], we show that Jeong Yag-yong disclosed in his Gugo Wonlyu(勾股源流) the mathematical structures of Pythagorean polynomials, namely polynomials p(a, b, c) where a, b, c are the three sides gou(勾), gu(股), xian(弦) of a right triangle, respectively. In this paper, we show that Jeong obtained his results through his recognizing Pythagorean polynomials as polynomial functions of three variables a, b, c.

  • In this paper, we give relationship between Bernoulli-Euler polynomials and convolution sums of divisor functions. First, we establish two explicit formulas for certain combinatoric convolution sums of divisor functions derived from Bernoulli and Euler polynomials. Second, as applications, we show five identities concerning the third and fourth-order convolution sums of divisor functions expressed by their divisor functions and linear combination of Bernoulli or Euler polynomials.

  • In this paper, we consider the q-analogues of Euler numbers and polynomials using the fermionic p-adic invariant integral on $\mathbb{Z}_p$. From these numbers and polynomials, we derive some interesting identities and properties on the q-analogues of Euler numbers and polynomials.

  • Galois polynomials are defined as a generalization of the cyclotomic polynomials. The definition of Galois polynomials (and cyclotomic polynomials) is based on the multiplicative group of integers modulo n, i.e. ${\mathbb{Z}}_n^*$. In this paper, we define Galois polynomials which are based on the quotient group ${\mathbb{Z}}_n^*/H$.

  • In this paper, we introduce a degenerate q-poly-Bernoulli numbers and polynomials include q-logarithm function. We derive some relations with this polynomials and the Stirling numbers of second kind and investigate some symmetric identities using special functions that are involving this polynomials.

  • In this paper, we first find a raising operator and a lowering operator for multiple Bessel polynomials and then give a differential equation having multiple Bessel polynomials as solutions. Thus the differential equations were found for all multiple orthogonal polynomials that are orthogonal with respect to the same type of classical weights introduced by Aptekarev et al.
