This paper describes insulation design and its reliability evaluation of ${\pm}80kV$ HVDC XLPE cable. Recently, the construction of HVDC transmission system, which is combined overhead line with underground cable, has been completed. This system is installed with existing 154 kV AC transmission line on the same tower. In this paper, the lightning transient analysis is firstly reviewed for selection of basic impulse insulation level and nominal insulation thickness. Then the electrical performance tests including load cycle test and superimposed impulse test based on CIGRE TB 496 are performed to evaluate the reliability of newly designed HVDC cable. There is no breakdown for ${\pm}80kV$ HVDC XLPE cable during electrical performance test. Finally, this system is installed in Jeju island based on successful electrical performance test (Type test). After installation tests are also successfully completed.

This report describes the analysis method of the full-scale propulsive performance by using the data of model test and the full-scale speed trial. The model test data were analyzed by the computer program "PPTT" based on "1978 ITTC Performance Prediction Method for Single Screw Ships." Also the full-scale speed trial data were analyzed by the computer program "SSTT" based on the newly proposed “SRS-KIMM Standard Method of Speed Trial Analysis." An analysis of model and full-scale test data was carried out for a 60.000 DWT Bulk Carrier and the correlation between model and full-scale ship was stuied.

Today, the importance of test and evaluation of defense systems is increasing day by day. In performing efficient defense systems test works, process improvement based on quantitative management is essential. The purpose of this paper is to present the results of process improvement for the defense systems test works of the test organization based on quantitative management activities. As a methodology to confirm process improvement performance, the 'MPM(Managing Performance and Measurement)' practice area of the CMMI model was applied. The quantitative management model for defense systems test works was developed so that it could be practically applied not only to the entire test organization but also to the organization at the department level that actually performs the test work. Finally, the application cases of the quantitative management model for defense system test works and the results of process improvement were described.

Purpose: This study aimed to confirm the effects of a simulation-based program on knowledge and clinical performance in the post-operative management of emergency patients. Methods: This was a pre- and post-research design with a nonequivalent control group and randomly sampled 29 experimental and control groups, respectively from nursing department juniors for 4 weeks from September of 2014. The experimental group received lectures, team study, team simulation, and debriefing in post-operative management of simulation-based emergency patients and control group conducted in the traditional lecture-type setting. Educational learning effects were measured by using the knowledge and clinical performance measurement tools of 15 and 20 items, respectively. Data were analyzed by using the SPSS program, including frequency, ratio, and results from the Chi-square test, Fisher's exact test, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, t-test. Results: Our research results indicate that, the experimental group showed significantly higher knowledge and clinical performance score compared with the control group. Conclusion: We confirmed that education on post-operative management of simulation-based emergency patients was an effective educational method to improve the knowledge and clinical performance of nursing students.

This paper investigates the performance of a vehicular rear-view camera through quantifying the image quality based on several objective criteria from the ISO (International Organization for Standardization). In addition, various experimental environments are defined considering the conditions under which a rear-view camera may need to operate. The process for evaluating the performance of a rear-view camera is composed of five objective criteria: noise test, resolution test, OECF (opto-electronic conversion function) test, color characterization test, and pincushion and barrel distortion tests. The proposed image quality quantification method then expresses the results of each test as a single value, allowing easy evaluation. In experiments, the performance evaluation results are analyzed and compared with those for a regular digital camera.

The purpose of this study is to analyze theoretically suggested performance test and find out the actual conditions is math class at high schools and to suggest some devices for improvement for the various problems. To achieve this goal of study, I applied a performance test to the first graders of high school for one semester, and analyzed various phenomena which appeared during its practice. I made several questionnaire based on the materials of an academic seminar, "Several questions and devices for the improvement on mathematics performance test" And through the analysis, I pointed several problems of the performance test and proposed alternative plans. Several practical alternatives can be suggested for the problems appeared in the operation of performance test. The most important thing than any other technical solution in teachers′ diverse endeavor and enthusiastic research attitude to overcome the difficulties. Teachers′ spontaneousness is the foundation to enhance their own specialty and eradicate the propriety of the performance test.

An Agresti-Coull type test is considered for the difference of binomial proportions in two doubly sampled data subject to common false-positive error. The performance of the test is compared with likelihood-based tests. The Agresti-Coull test has many desirable properties in that it can approximate the nominal significance level well, and has comparable power performance with a computational advantage.

Purpose - This study aims to examine the impact of leadership on organizational trust and innovation performance, and to identify whether organizational trust plays a mediating role in the relationship between leadership and innovation performance. Also, this study attempts to find out how to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness based on leadership-based or trust-based strategies. And, this research proposed that organizational trust plays a core mediating role in the relationship between transactional and transformational leadership and innovation performance. Research design, data, and methodology - In order to test the hypotheses of this study, the survey was conducted towards franchise coffee shop employees between November 7 and 18, 2016. We contacted top executives of coffee shop franchise headquarters and explained the purpose of this study. Among 150 questionnaires distributed, 123 were collected. Of these collected questionnaires, 102 questionnaires were coded and analyzed for further analysis. In order to test the unidimensionality and reliability of the factors, factor analysis and reliability test were performed using SPSS/PC+ 22.0. And, the hypotheses were tested using hierarchical mediated regression analysis. Result - The results are as follows. First, transactional leadership, and intellectual stimulation, motivation of transformational leadership had significant impacts on organizational trust. Second, organizational trust, transactional leadership, and influence of transformational leadership had significant impacts on innovation performance. Third, the mediating test of organizational trust showed that transactional leadership plays a partial mediator, and intellectual of transformational leadership plays a full mediator in the relationship between leadership and innovation performance. Conclusions - The implications of this study are as follows. First, the top management should provide their organizational members incentives or rewards based on their performance. Second, top management should identify and express a clear vision and desirable organizational goals for the future, present an idealized vision, and communicate to organizational members that the vision is achievable, also have organizational members to think creatively and find optimal solutions to difficult problems. In sum, this study revealed the important role of leadership in embedding organizational trust in and improving innovation performance of coffee shop employees and the mediating role of organizational trust in the influence of leadership on innovation performance.

The pressure safety valve is very important device for securing the safety in the facilities which is operated by high pressure gases. The performance test should be periodically inspected by relate law because the failure of pressure safety valves might be main causes of serious accidents in the industrial fields. Shop test is mainly use for inspecting the performance test of pressure safety valves but the test method is not to be a solution for securing the safety. So, the development of alternative method is required. In this paper, there is a limit to securing the safety if the performance test is with just shop test. The limitation is checked from analysis result based on performance test results of pressure safety valves. The necessity for introducing the in-service test is reviewed to surmount the limitation. As a result, in-service test method should be developed and introduced to improve the inspection efficiency and economical loss. Also, it can be reduce the risk level.

In the United States and Japan ITS device performance test-beds have been widely developed to enhance the reliability of traffic information and to expedite the standardization of components for securing the compatibility of device. In this study the selection criteria for developing ITS device performance test-bed are investigated by analyzing the cases and studies of overseas. Based on the criteria, a test-bed is developed and test-run. The importance of developing ITS device performance test-bed was identified as the result of reviewing the test run of each selection.
