철강 제조 MES의 마이크로서비스 아키텍처 적용 구축사례 연구 (A Case Study on Implementing Microservice Architecture in Steel Manufacturing MES)

  • Recently, the application of microservice architecture has been increasing as information systems have shifted to cloud environments. The purpose of this paper was to analyze the case of applying microservice architecture to MES in the manufacturing field, summarize the results of how it was applied in practice, and find out the effects of the application. Based on the improvement project by applying microservice architecture to the existing steel manufacturing MES, 11 principles of microservice application were derived through literature research, and the implementation process and results were summarized according to these principles. In addition, through a comparison of systems in the service industry and the manufacturing industry, we investigated why the application of microservices was more active in the service industry and whether the application in the manufacturing industry can be expected to have the same effect. We also evaluated the results and changes in the overall system after implementation. In particular, we analyzed the SR (Service Request) processing status of users' requests for system changes and operators' requests to see how much the lead time was reduced. The results showed that 8 out of 11 microservice application principles were properly implemented according to the principles, but the remaining 3 were not applicable due to practical difficulties and organizational circumstances. Despite not following all of the principles, the project was able to be implemented without any problems, and the most noticeable change as a result of the microservices architecture was that the lead time was reduced by 9 days compared to the previous system. This proves that it is possible to quickly adapt to customer requirements, and it also proves that the system is more flexible and scalable than the existing monolithic system.

Occupational stress changes and new-onset depression among male Korean manufacturing workers

  • Background: Studies on the association between occupational stress and depression have been frequently reported. However, the cross-sectional designs of studies limited insight into causal associations. In this study, we investigated the longitudinal association between occupational stress and new-onset depression among employees in a single manufacturing plant. Methods: The annual health checkup data of employees at a manufacturing plant in Korea were collected. A total of 1,837 male employees without depression who completed a health checkup during two consecutive years were included. Occupational stress was measured using a short form of the Korea Occupational Stress Scale (KOSS-SF), and depression was assessed using a Patient Health Questionnaire-2. The association between occupational stress change over the two years and newly developed depression was investigated using two logistic regression models. Results: Across all sub-factors of KOSS-SF, employees who reported increased occupational stress had a higher risk of new-onset depression. Newly developed depression was significantly associated with job demand (odds ratio [OR]: 4.34; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 2.37-7.96), job insecurity (OR: 3.21; 95% CI: 1.89-5.48), occupational climate (OR: 3.18; 95% CI: 1.91-5.31), lack of reward (OR: 2.28; 95% CI: 1.26-4.12), interpersonal conflict (OR: 2.14; 95% CI: 1.18-3.86), insufficient job control (OR: 1.93; 95% CI: 1.05-3.56), and the organizational system (OR: 1.84; 95% CI: 1.01-3.36). Conclusions: For every sub-factor of the KOSS-SF, occupational stress increase and persistent high stress were associated with the risk of developing new-onset depression. Among the seven sub-factors, job demand had the most significant effect. Our results show that occupational stress should be managed to promote employee mental healthcare.

고등학교 수학교과서의 설명텍스트와 교사 설명담화에 대한 체계기능언어학적 비교 분석 - '이차함수와 이차방정식의 관계'를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Written Texts of a High School Mathematics Textbook and Teacher's Classroom Discourse -A Focus on 'The Relationship between Quadratic Functions and Quadratic Equations'-)

  • 본 연구는 교사가 수업에서 사용하는 수학언어의 특징을 분석하기 위하여 고등학교 1학년의 '이차함수와 이차방정식의 관계'를 설명하는 교과서 텍스트와 교사의 수업담화를 비교하였다. 분석 자료는 고등학교 수학1의 '이차함수와 이차방정식의 관계'에 대한 수업의 녹취록과 수업에 사용된 교과서 텍스트이며, 이 자료를 Halliday(1994)의 체계기능언어학에 따라 담화의미 층위와 어휘문법 층위로 구분하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면, 교과서는 의미의 상하관계를 이용한 일반화, 명사화를 통한 수학적 대상화, 주제부의 변화를 이용한 의미의 구체화와 같은 어휘문법 전략을 사용하여 구체적인 예시로부터 일반화를 통해 수학적 개념을 구성하는 설명방식을 사용하였고, 이 과정에서 담화의미 층위와 어휘문법 층위의 조직적인 상호작용이 나타났다. 반면에 교사의 설명은 동사성의 변화와 이유 및 절차 담화의 추가를 통해 이차함수와 이차방정식의 관계를 구성해가는 과정으로 이루어졌다. 교사 설명담화의 언어적 특징으로는 맥락적 생략으로 인한 화용적 함축과 어휘소의 누락이 나타났으며, 담화의미 층위에 영향을 주는 구조적인 어휘문법 자원의 사용은 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 수학수업 담화를 분석하는 새로운 틀을 제공할 것으로 기대한다.

개정노동법과 종합병원의 노무관리전략 (Revisioned Labour Law and Labour Management Strategy in Hospital)

  • Revisioned labour law was confirmed by vote of National Assembly on 1st January 2010. Under revisions labour law the necessity was expressed to reconstruct and change the relationship between labour and management in hospital. This study was described to investigate the operational statement of labour union in general hospital and to investigate how the labour policy would be change and which form would be appear in labour union in hospital. The survey results which was operated targeting labour managers in hospital were as follows ; first, in the possibility of plural labour unions establishment, university hospital labour managers forecasted the possibility as high. but non-university hospital labour managers forecasted the possibility as low. second, even though the plural union labours would be established in hospitals there would be no difficulties in collective bargaining between labour and management. third, the labour union activities would not be shrink even though there would be wage pay prohibition for the full-time union laboures. As the wage pay prohibition acted on the full-time union labours, countermeasures are required as follows; first, there is a possibility that there will be diversity in the form of full-time union labours. It is need to make the criterion of hospital about the limit of full-time labour union members. It is need to make the criterion of labour activities of non-working hour exception. It is need to cope with the diverse demands of labour union which aim to solve the financial burdens. As the plural labour unions are permitted it is need to make countermeasures as follows ; To analyze whether there is a possibility by the establishment of new labour to be plural labour unions. To establish the countermeasures in short-term aspect to make the countermeasures to cope with the establishment of plural labour unions. In long-term aspect to establish labour and management strategies. Henceforth, found on the revisions labour law, it is need to provide in hospitals as follows; first, it is need to prepare labour management policies and substitutes which suitable for plural labour union period. Second, it is need to determine concretely on the related matters of the union labours and to develop the conclusion guidelines which preparing infective criteria. Third, to examine the effects on the hospital organization by organizational forms of labour union which is weak in financial aspect.

한국 농정(農政)의 철학적 분석과 새로운 패러다임(paradigm)의 설계 (A Philosophical Analysis and Design of a New Paradigm of the Rural Policies in Korea)

  • In the situation of rapid industrialization based on the lopsided development of economy since 1960, Korean rural society has faced a crisis of disruption. As a result, the civilian government has tried a few actions to change the circumstance. However, it is said that the coral polices were not satisfactory. Those who were concerned with the rural problems of these days argue that it is necessary to adopt new policies and further to change the policymakers` philosophies concerning the matter. The arguments are certainly based on the beliefs that the sound policies come from the sound philosophies. This study aims to analyze the existing rural polices and their policymakers` philosophies and to design of a new paradigm. For the purpose, this study was set there specific objectives: First, to overview the moor points of Quantitative Utilitarianism of Jeremy Bentham and the Social Justice Theory of John Rawls, the contrasting frameworks of the moral philosophies; Second, to trace the major or trade of the rural policies since 1960s in Korea; Third, to analyze the policymakers` philosophies reflected on the rural policies; Fourth, to design a new paradigm of the rural policies. This study mainly adopted descriptive method based on the various source of government and non-government statistics, white papers and other researches. The major findings of this study may be summarized as follows: 1. The historical epochs of the rural policies in Korea was divided into the periods: (1) An organizational and institutional establishment for self-reliance of main crops and the New Village Movement $(1969{\sim}70)$; (2) An initiation of `open-door` policies to the foreign farm products $(1970{\sim}80)$; (3) Completion of the UR meetings and the recommendations of the Rural and Fishery Development Commission (1980-present). 2. It was found that the philosophical foundations of coral policies were directly reflected from the utilitarianism of the national development. Under the philosophy it was the modem sector of economy that was to spearhead the national development, and the rural sector was situated to the peripheral position and hardly in the spot-light. Therefore, it may be said that the present situation of the rural society was largely rooted in the model of economic development. 3. As a new direction of the coral policies, many studies were focussing on the NTC (non-trade concerns) functions of agriculture for the present and future society. The researchers argue that the cost of protecting and supporting agriculture and rural society may be higher than that of the burden which the nation should be bear in the case of failure of agriculture. Although it tray be true, however, it should be noted that the argument is another type of utilitarianism which prevailed in the past. As a philosophy of rural policies, utilitarianism is straight forward and persuasive, however, it has also limitations in terms of relativism in broad sense or social justice in specific manna. 4. This study suggests to set the philosophical foundations of rural policies on the basis of Rawl`s Theory of Justice mentioned earlier. It emphasizes the inviolability of social justice which was neglected for the national benefits timing the period of development dictatorship in 1960s and 1970s. The principles of social justice for coral people were identified as twofold; (1) The principle of the t equal liberty; (2) (a) Difference principle, (b) The principle of fair equality of opportunity.

한국 하청기업의 해외동반진출과 생산 네트워크 형성 및 변화: 베트남 하노이 권역 전자산업을 사례로 (Formation and Change of Production Network based on Customer-following Overseas Expansion of Korean Subcontractors: Electronic Industries in Hanoi Red River Delta, Vietnam)

  • 본 논문은 해외동반진출의 관점에서 한국 전자산업 하청기업의 해외진출과정을 유발한 요인과 생산네트워크의 변화에 대한 분석을 목적으로 한다. 한국 전자산업 하청기업의 해외동반진출을 살펴보기 위하여 심층인터뷰가 진행되었다. 한국 전자산업 하청기업의 경우 초국적기업의 공급자로 역할하며 최근 이들과 베트남 북부지역으로 동반진출이 나타나고 있다. 1990년대부터 시작한 한국 기업의 베트남 투자는 초기 섬유·의복 산업을 중심으로 베트남 남부지역에 투자가 집중되었으나, 2000년대 말 한국 전자산업 초국적기업의 베트남 진출 이후 전자산업의 베트남 북부 진출이 가속화되고 있다. 한국 전자산업의 해외동반진출은 물리적 근접성, 비대칭적 기업간 관계, 네트워크 착근성 세 가지 측면에서 나타나게 되었다. 해외동반진출과정을 겪으며, 베트남에는 기존 한국 전자산업 생산네트워크가 베트남 현지에 이식되어 부분적으로 수정되고 있음을 확인하였다. 이는 해외동반진출과정에서 기존 기업의 위계성과 거래관계 변화의 어려움에 영향을 받았기 때문이다. 한국 초국적기업은 하청기업과의 해외동반진출을 통해 현지의 안정적인 공급자를 구축하고자 하였고, 해외동반진출 하청기업에게 재무적·비재무적 지원을 제공하고 있다.

  • 지구 환경문제가 국제적인 문제로 부상하면서 국제사회는 글로벌 이슈(기후 변화, 빈곤퇴치, 인권 등)를 해결하기 위해 지속가능발전이라는 새로운 패러다임을 제시하며, 17개의 지속가능발전목표(SDGs)를 실행하고자 다양한 조직적 노력을 시도하며 통합해오고 있다. 최근 파리기후협정과 SDGs 달성에 필요한 재원을 마련하고자 지속가능한 금융의 투자가 확대되며 비재무적 요소인 환경·사회·지배구조가 기업의 미래 경쟁우위와 수익성을 결정하는 중요한 무형자산이 되어, 국내외 기관 투자자와 자산운용사들은 ESG 성과를 기반으로 투자를 확대하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 기업의 사회적 책임활동과 ESG 성과 정보 공개를 요구하는 국제적 기준과 이니셔티브를 도출하고, 건설기업의 ESG 활동 및 성과 수준을 분석하고자 한다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 건설산업이 코로사19 사태, 탄소 중립, 중대 재해 발생 등으로 당면한 위기를 극복할 수 있도록 ESG 생태계를 구축하고, 무형자산 측정 및 관리를 위한 플랫폼 개발의 기본 자료로 활용되어 녹색 금융이 주는 비지니스 기회와 일자리 창출 등 사회적 가치 실현에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

지방자치단체의 일하는 방식 혁신에 관한 연구 (Research on Innovation in the Way of Working of Local Governments)

  • 본 연구에서는 문재인 정부가 추진하고 있는 정부 혁신의 중요한 내용의 하나인 일하는 방식 혁신의 주요 전략 및 내용을 살펴보고, 특정 지자체의 사례를 중심으로 일하는 방식 혁신의 내용 및 성공요인을 분석하였다. 특히 본 연구에서는 업무간소화를 통해 일하는 방식을 혁신한 사례를 분석하고 있는데 연구대상이 된 지방자치단체는 2019년 행정안전부의 정부혁신 평가에서 우수한 평가를 받은 기관이다. 본 연구에서는 해당 지방자치단체의 직원들을 대상으로 심층인터뷰를 진행하여 해당 기관의 업무간소화와 관련된 문제점 및 성과, 성공요인들을 살펴보았다. 업무간소화를 성공적으로 추진하기 위해서는 첫째, 조직구성원들의 변화에의 동참을 유도할 수 있도록 공감대를 형성하는 것이 매우 중요함을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 업무간소화라는 혁신 프로젝트에 조직구성원들의 적극적인 참여를 유도하기 위해서는 인사가점 등의 인센티브가 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 조직의 변화를 유도하고 지원하기 위해서는 무엇보다도 중간관리자 및 최고관리자의 관심과 지원이 매우 중요한 요인임을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구의 이러한 결과를 통해 향후 공공부문의 일하는 방식 혁신을 위한 정책마련에 일조할 수 있으리라 판단된다.

한국과 프랑스 해군의 군함기인 해양 오염 관련 법제 비교: 예방을 중심으로 (A Comparative Study on Legal Systems regarding Marine Pollution from Warships between Korean and French: Focused on Prevention)

  • 인류에게 해양은 천혜의 보고이자 주요 교통로를 제공하는 중요한 영역이다. 그러나 전 지구적 기후 변화 위기 속 해양 생태계는 위협받고 있다. 이는, 선박, 해안 시설 등에서 배출되는 여러 오염원에 기인한 것이기도 하다. 이에, 미국, 영국, 유럽 등 선진국 해군은 이러한 기후 변화 위기를 신 해양 안보 위협으로 평가했다. 이들 국가는 일찍부터 군함기인 해양 오염 예방을 위해 노력했다. 이러한 노력은 법적으로 구체화하였다. 이는 현장에서 실질적으로 적용하기 위한 기술적 그리고 조직 구성에 대한 법제화였다. 선진국 해군 중 특히 프랑스는 유럽 지역뿐만 아니라 전 세계 국방 차원의 환경 보호 리더가 되고자 국회 및 중앙 정부 부처 간 계획을 수립했다. 이러한 틀에서 프랑스 해군은 내부 지침을 통해 군함기인 해양 오염 예방을 위한 법적 노력을 기울이고 있다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 프랑스 해군 내 군함기인 해양 오염 예방을 위한 법제를 살펴보고, 우리 해군에 적용되는 해양 환경 법제와 비교하였다. 이어, 대양 해군으로 나아가고 있는 우리 해군에 시사하는 바가 무엇인지 제시하였다.

가족계획과 모자보건 통합을 위한 조산원의 투입효과 분석 -서산지역의 개입연구 평가보고- (An Intervention Study on Integration of Family Planning and Maternal/Infant Care Services in Rural Korea)

  • This project was a service-cum-research effort with a quasi-experimental study design to examine the health benefits of an integrated Family Planning (FP)/Maternal & Child health (MCH) Service approach that provides crucial factors missing in the present on-going programs. The specific objectives were: 1) To test the effectiveness of trained nurse/midwives (MW) assigned as change agents in the Health Sub-Center (HSC) to bring about the changes in the eight FP/MCH indicators, namely; (i)FP/MCH contacts between field workers and their clients (ii) the use of effective FP methods, (iii) the inter-birth interval and/or open interval, (iv) prenatal care by medically qualified personnel, (v) medically supervised deliveries, (vi) the rate of induced abortion, (vii) maternal and infant morbidity, and (viii) preinatal & infant mortality. 2) To measure the integrative linkage (contacts) between MW & HSC workers and between HSC and clients. 3) To examine the organizational or administrative factors influencing integrative linkage between health workers. Study design; The above objectives called for quasi-experimental design setting up a study and control area with and without a midwife. An active intervention program (FP/MCH minimum 'package' program) was conducted for a 2 year period from June 1982-July 1984 in Seosan County and 'before and after' surveys were conducted to measure the change. Service input; This study was undertaken by the Soonchunhyang University in collaboration with WHO. After a baseline survery in 1981, trained nurses/midwives were introduced into two health sub-centers in a rural setting (Seosan county) for a 2 year period from 1982 to 1984. A major service input was the establishment of midwifery services in the existing health delivery system with emphasis on nurse/midwife's role as the link between health workers (nurse aids) and village health workers, and the referral of risk patients to the private physician (OBGY specialist). An evaluation survey was made in August 1984 to assess the effectiveness of this alternative integrated approach in the study areas in comparison with the control area which had normal government services. Method of evaluation; a. In this study, the primary objective was first to examine to what extent the FP/MCH package program brought about changes in the pre-determined eight indicators (outcome and impact measures) and the following relationship was first analyzed; b. Nevertheless, this project did not automatically accept the assumption that if two or more activities were integrated, the results would automatically be better than a non-integrated or categorical program. There is a need to assess the 'integration process' itself within the package program. The process of integration was measured in terms of interactive linkages, or the quantity & quality of contacts between workers & clients and among workers. Intergrative linkages were hypothesized to be influenced by organizational factors at the HSC clinic level including HSC goals, sltrurture, authority, leadership style, resources, and personal characteristics of HSC staff. The extent or degree of integration, as measured by the intensity of integrative linkages, was in turn presumed to influence programme performance. Thus as indicated diagrammatically below, organizational factors constituted the independent variables, integration as the intervening variable and programme performance with respect to family planning and health services as the dependent variable: Concerning organizational factors, however, due to the limited number of HSCs (2 in the study area and 3 in the control area), they were studied by participatory observation of an anthropologist who was independent of the project. In this observation, we examined whether the assumed integration process actually occurred or not. If not, what were the constraints in producing an effective integration process. Summary of Findings; A) Program effects and impact 1. Effects on FP use: During this 2 year action period, FP acceptance increased from 58% in 1981 to 78% in 1984 in both the study and control areas. This increase in both areas was mainly due to the new family planning campaign driven by the Government for the same study period. Therefore, there was no increment of FP acceptance rate due to additional input of MW to the on-going FP program. But in the study area, quality aspects of FP were somewhat improved, having a better continuation rate of IUDs & pills and more use of effective Contraceptive methods in comparison with the control area. 2. Effects of use of MCH services: Between the study and control areas, however, there was a significant difference in maternal and child health care. For example, the coverage of prenatal care was increased from 53% for 1981 birth cohort to 75% for 1984 birth cohort in the study area. In the control area, the same increased from 41% (1981) to 65% (1984). It is noteworthy that almost two thirds of the recent birth cohort received prenatal care even in the control area, indicating that there is a growing demand of MCH care as the size of family norm becomes smaller 3. There has been a substantive increase in delivery care by medical professions in the study area, with an annual increase rate of 10% due to midwives input in the study areas. The project had about two times greater effect on postnatal care (68% vs. 33%) at delivery care(45.2% vs. 26.1%). 4. The study area had better reproductive efficiency (wanted pregancies with FP practice & healthy live births survived by one year old) than the control area, especially among women under 30 (14.1% vs. 9.6%). The proportion of women who preferred the 1st trimester for their first prenatal care rose significantly in the study area as compared to the control area (24% vs 13%). B) Effects on Interactive Linkage 1. This project made a contribution in making several useful steps in the direction of service integration, namely; i) The health workers have become familiar with procedures on how to work together with each other (especially with a midwife) in carrying out their work in FP/MCH and, ii) The health workers have gotten a feeling of the usefulness of family health records (statistical integration) in identifying targets in their own work and their usefulness in caring for family health. 2. On the other hand, because of a lack of required organizational factors, complete linkage was not obtained as the project intended. i) In regards to the government health worker's activities in terms of home visiting there was not much difference between the study & control areas though the MW did more home visiting than Government health workers. ii) In assessing the service performance of MW & health workers, the midwives balanced their workload between 40% FP, 40% MCH & 20% other activities (mainly immunization). However, $85{\sim}90%$ of the services provided by the health workers were other than FP/MCH, mainly for immunizations such as the encephalitis campaign. In the control area, a similar pattern was observed. Over 75% of their service was other than FP/MCH. Therefore, the pattern shows the health workers are a long way from becoming multipurpose workers even though the government is pushing in this direction. 3. Villagers were much more likely to visit the health sub-center clinic in the study area than in the control area (58% vs.31%) and for more combined care (45% vs.23%). C) Organization factors (admistrative integrative issues) 1. When MW (new workers with higher qualification) were introduced to HSC, it was noted that there were conflicts between the existing HSC workers (Nurse aids with less qualification than MW) and the MW for the beginning period of the project. The cause of the conflict was studied by an anthropologist and it was pointed out that these functional integration problems stemmed from the structural inadequacies of the health subcenter organization as indicated below; i) There is still no general consensus about the objectives and goals of the project between the project staff and the existing health workers. ii) There is no formal linkage between the responsibility of each member's job in the health sub-center. iii) There is still little chance for midwives to play a catalytic role or to establish communicative networks between workers in order to link various knowledge and skills to provide better FP/MCH services in the health sub-center. 2. Based on the above findings the project recommended to the County Chief (who has power to control the administrative staff and the technical staff in his county) the following ; i) In order to solve the conflicts between the individual roles and functions in performing health care activities, there must be goals agreed upon by both. ii) The health sub·center must function as an autonomous organization to undertake the integration health project. In order to do that, it is necessary to support administrative considerations, and to establish a communication system for supervision and to control of the health sub-centers. iii) The administrative organization, tentatively, must be organized to bind the health worker's midwive's and director's jobs by an organic relationship in order to achieve the integrative system under the leadership of health sub-center director. After submitting this observation report, there has been better understanding from frequent meetings & communication between HW/MW in FP/MCH work as the program developed. Lessons learned from the Seosan Project (on issues of FP/MCH integration in Korea); 1) A majority or about 80% of the couples are now practicing FP. As indicated by the study, there is a growing demand from clients for the health system to provide more MCH services than FP in order to maintain the achieved small size of family through FP practice. It is fortunate to see that the government is now formulating a MCH policy for the year 2,000 and revising MCH laws and regulations to emphasize more MCH care for achieving a small size family through family planning practice. 2) Goal consensus in FP/MCH shouBd be made among the health workers It administrators, especially to emphasize the need of care of 'wanted' child. But there is a long way to go to realize the 'real' integration of FP into MCH in Korea, unless there is a structural integration FP/MCH because a categorical FP is still first priority to reduce the rate of population growth for economic reasons but not yet for health/welfare reasons in practice. 3) There should be more financial allocation: (i) a midwife should be made available to help to promote the MCH program and coordinate services, (in) there should be a health sub·center director who can provide leadership training for managing the integrated program. There is a need for 'organizational support', if the decision of integration is made to obtain benefit from both FP & MCH. In other words, costs should be paid equally to both FP/MCH. The integration slogan itself, without the commitment of paying such costs, is powerless to advocate it. 4) Need of management training for middle level health personnel is more acute as the Government has already constructed 90 MCH centers attached to the County Health Center but without adequate manpower, facilities, and guidelines for integrating the work of both FP and MCH. 5) The local government still considers these MCH centers only as delivery centers to take care only of those visiting maternity cases. The MCH center should be a center for the managment of all pregnancies occurring in the community and the promotion of FP with a systematic and effective linkage of resources available in the county such as i.e. Village Health Worker, Community Health Practitioner, Health Sub-center Physicians & Health workers, Doctors and Midwives in MCH center, OBGY Specialists in clinics & hospitals as practiced by the Seosan project at primary health care level.
