잡음 재밍 신호에 강인한 광대역 모노펄스 레이더 시스템 설계 및 응답 특성 분석 (Design and Response Analysis of Wideband Monopulse Radar System Robust to Noise Jamming Signal)

  • In this paper, the wideband mono-pulse radar using AGC and limiter is designed. The output response characteristics of the mono-pulse radar using AGC and limiter are analyzed, respectively. In addition, the output response for jamming input signals is analyzed. The range tracking loop in the mono-pulse radar has robust output response to the noise jamming input signal. Although the output settling response of the AGC-based mono-pulse radar is larger than that of the limiter-based mono-pulse radar, the AGC-based mono-pulse radar has robustness to the noise jamming input signal due to feedback loop.

  • In this paper, we derive the CRLB (Cramer-Rao Lower Bound) of effective carrier-to-noise power ratio ($C/N_0$) estimation for a GPS (Global Positioning System) L1 C/A (Coarse/Acquisition) signal under band-limited white noise jamming environments. The quality of a received GPS signal is commonly described in terms of its $C/N_0$, implying that the noise is white and thus can be described by scalar noise density. However, if some intentional interference is received to a victim GPS receiver, then the $C/N_0$ is no longer the efficacious performance indicator. The correct and straightforward measurement to analyze the receiving situation is the effective $C/N_0$. In this paper, we consider a band-limited white noise jamming whose bandwidth is 2MHz and is the same as one of the first null-to-null bandwidth of the GPS L1 C/A signal.

부분대역 재밍하에서 FH/CPFSK 시스템의 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of FH/CPFSK System in the Partial-band Jamming Noise)

  • 본 논문에서는 열잡음과 부분대역 재밍잡음 그리고 인접한 8개의 비트 패턴에 대한 심볼간 간섭을 고려하여 FH/CPFSK 시스템의 성능을 분석하였다. 이와 같은 FH/CPFSK 시스템의 분석을 위한 파라메타 비트율(bit rate)과 변조지수를 사용하였으며, 차동검파기(Differential Detector)를 이용한 최적 수신 상관함수 제시하고, FH/CPFSK 시스템과 FH/BFSK 시스템을 비교평가 하였다. 그 결과, 근사식과 실제식의 비트 오류 확률은 높은 신호대 잡음비에서 거의 일치함을 알 수 있었고, 재밍율에 따른 성능은 차동검파를 사용한 FH/CPFSK 시스템이 리미터-변별기를 사용한 FH/CPFSK 시스템 보다 3dB 성능이 떨어지나 FH/CPFSK 시스템보다는 2dB 성능이 우수함을 입증하였다.

다양한 재밍 환경에서 시간도약 시스템 성능 분석 (On the Performance of Time-Hopping Systems under Hostile Jamming Environments)

  • In this paper, we consider the applicability of time-hopping(TH) systems for anti-jamming(AJ) communication. We first briefly summarize fundamentals of TH systems and several common jamming scenarios that have been considered in the literature. We then analyze the AJ performance of TH systems under those common jamming environments. From our simulation results, we reveal that among narrow band, partial band, broadband, and sweep jamming, partial band and sweep jamming are the best ones from jammer perspective. For the partial band jamming case, we show that the most effective bandwidth ratio and location are 50 % and 2.5-3.5 Ghz, respectively. For the sweep jamming case, we illustrate that the AJ performance of the TH system is enhanced when the sweep duration approaches to the bit duration. In addition, we pointed out that the most efficient jamming bandwidth ratio is 1/2. Finally, our results show that the TH-BPSK system greatly outperforms the TH-PPM counterpart.

부분대역 재밍잡음하에서 선형다이버시티를 고려한 FH/CPFSK 시스템의 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of the FH/CPFSK System with the Linear-Diversity under the Partial-band Jamming Noise)

  • 본 논문에서는 리미터-변별기 검파방식과 Intergrate-and-Dump 필터링을 하는 FH/CPFSK 시스템에 다이버시티를 적용하여 시스템의 성능을 분석하였고, 시스템을 평가하는데 있어서 열잡음과 부분대역 재밍 잡음, 인접한 8개의 Bit 패턴에 대한 심볼간 간섭, FM 잡음 클릭을 고려하였다. 그 결과, 최악의 재밍환경하에서 다이버시티를 고려한 시스템의 성능은 열잡음이 존재하는 경우(E/E=15dB) 다이버시티를 고려하지 않은 시스템의 성능보다 약 5dB정도 감소되었지만, 열잡음을 무시한 경우에는 다이버시티를 고려하지 않은 시스템의 성능보다 약 16dB정도 개선됨을 입증하였다.

  • This paper has analyzed the performance against a single tone jamming for the CPM DS-SS system with a Binary FSK Modulation. The CPM DS-SS system designed with the different phase shift of the same pseude-noise code has the advantage of reducing the jamming and interference effects on multi-users communication environment. Analytical results show that the system preformance improves by increasing parrallel users in the presence of the coherent single-tone, which is the worst interference since the jamming signal has the same frequency as a carrier.

  • In the noncoherent FH/FSK system presence of the multitione jamming and noise, in the case random and 송 structures jamming model, the performance analyzed that random and struetured jamming derived error proability. Tone 신호방해 하에서의 DS/SFH 복합 확산대역 시스템의 비트오율 (Error Probability of a Hybrid DS/SFH Spread-Spectrum System under Tone Jamming)

  • A hybrid DS/SFH spread spectrum system is used to achieve a larger gain in some applications. The probability of error for a hybrid DS/SFH(direct sequence/slow frequency hopped) spread-spectrum system is calculated over a channel which suffers from multiple-tone jamming and additive white Gaussian noise. BPSK(binary phase shift keying) is considered as modulation scheme. The probability of error is computed for various system parameters such as a DS/SFH hybrid ratio, the number of jamming tones, a jamming-to-signal ratio, and a siganl-to-noise ratio. It is shown that a DS system or a SFH system achieves smaller probability of error than a hybrid DS/SFH system for most values of system parameters. However, it is also shown that there are hybrid ratios with which a hybrid DS/SFH system achieves smaller probability of error than a DS system and a SFH system achieve for some values of system parameters.

멀티톤 재밍을 고려한 비동기 FH/FSK 성능 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Performance Noncoherent FH/FSK Including Multitone Jamming)

  • 잡음이 멀티톤 재밍이 있을때 비동기 주파수 도약 FSK(noncoherent frequency hopping/FSK) 시스템의 성능을 분석한다. 랜돔과 조직적 재밍은 멀티톤 재밍을 모델로 생각하였으며, 확률 밀도 함수는 최악의 방해신호하에서 재밍톤 수, 재밍 대 신호적력비, 재밍 신호 위상, 그리고 1개의 통 재밍 전력대 신호 전력비를 변수로 하여 각각에 대한 오율을 정의하고 최적 결정 룰에 적용하였다. 그 결과 한개의 재밍톤 전력 대신호 전력이 1일때 오율이 최대가 되며 또한 랜돔과 조직적 재밍에서의 오율 성능이 거의 같음을 알 수 있음을 보였다.

FMCW방식 근접신관 신호 추적 기법 개발 (Development of Tracking Technique against FMCW Proximity Fuze)

  • A modern artillery use a FMCW Proximity Fuze for effectively target destruction. FMCW Proximity Fuze can be deceived by Jamming Technique because it uses RF for distance estimation. FMCW Proximity Fuze algorithm is similar to FMCW radar's, but normal Jamming Tech. like Noise and Mulitone is useless. Most Shots with FMCW Proximity Fuze have a additional mechanical fuze against RF Jamming. Shots explode by mechanical fuze when Proximity Fuse is Jammed. However, distance Deception is available because shots can not distinguish between deception jamming signal and ground reflected signal. For making Distance Deception Jamming, FMCW signal tracking is demanded. In this paper, we propose a FMCW tracking method and develop the Jammer to show Jamming signal.
