산업재해 근로자의 변화동기에 영향을 미치는 개인, 가족, 산업재해 요인 : 범이론 모형의 적용 (Individual, Family and Industrial Factors Related to Injured Workers' Motivation for Change : Application of the Transtheoretical Model)

  • 본 연구는 범이론을 적용하여 산업재해 근로자(이하 산재근로자)의 변화동기 수준과, 이에 영향을 미치는 요인을 개인, 가족, 산업재해 요인으로 구분하여 살펴보았다. 산업재해로 요양 치료를 받고 있는 305명의 근로자로부터 자기보고식 설문조사를 통해 수집한 자료를 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 산재근로자의 변화동기 수준은 초이론 모형에서 대부분 전숙고, 숙고 단계에 머물러 있었다. 둘째, 산재근로자의 변화동기에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 개인 요인은 심리안정성, 장애수용도, 독립성이었고, 가족 요인은 가족의 지지도였으며, 산재 관련 요인은 주관적 재해상태, 재해 당시 직업, 직업 복귀 상태였다. 이러한 결과는 산재근로자의 재활을 위해 개인의 심리와 가족의 지지에 초점을 둔 개입이 필요함을 시사한다.

주변인의 영향에 따른 근로자의 음주 동기 및 음주 행위에 관한 연구 (A Study on Motivation for Alcohol Use and Drinking Behavior of Employees by Social Pressure)

  • Purpose: This paper is to analyze motivation and behavior of alcohol use of employees, and effects of social pressure on alcohol use of employees. Methods: A cross-sectional study was performed with 341 employees in Industrial Complex. Data were collected from June 26, 2007 to July 11, 2007. Collected data were analysed through Frequency, ANOVA, One-way ANOVA test. Result: Social motivation showed the highest mean among motivation of alcohol use, man showed higher mean than woman on confirmity motivation and affirmation motivation. Dangerous alcohol use showed the highest mean among behavior of alcohol use, man showed higher mean than woman on behavior of alcohol use. Effects of peer showed higher mean than effects of family, generally the more high effects of peer is, the more higher confirmity motivation, dangerous and dependent alcohol use showed. Conclusion: Therefore, to decrease alcohol use of employees must be prepared an alternatives to change drinking culture and recognition, and developed for working man and individual workplaces.

성장 및 발전을 위한 변화동기 척도 개발 및 타당화 (Development and Validation of Change Motivation Scale for Growth and Development)

  • 본 연구에서는 성장 및 발전을 위한 변화동기(Change Motivation for Growth and Development)를 '자신의 현재 행동에 대한 현실적인 인식을 바탕으로 자신이 중요하게 생각하는 목표 달성을 위해 기꺼이 행동하도록 하는 힘'으로 정의하고, 일반 성인들의 성장과 발전을 위한 변화동기를 측정하는 척도의 개발 및 타당도 검증을 목적으로 하였다. 예비문항 개발을 위해 코칭 전문가 7명과 코칭 유경험자 9명을 대상으로 인터뷰를 실시하였고, 일반 성인 55명을 대상으로 개방형 설문을 실시하였다. 이후 3차례의 문항 분류 작업과 내용타당도 검증을 거쳐 7개 요인, 83개 문항을 선정하여, 일반 성인 321명을 대상으로 예비조사를 실시하고, 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 4개요인 42 문항을 도출하였다. 최종적으로 성장 및 발전을 위한 변화동기 척도의 구성개념 타당도와 준거관련 타당도 검증을 위해 일반 성인 631명을 대상으로 본조사를 실시하였다. 두 그룹으로 나누어 그룹1의 315명은 탐색적 요인분석을, 그룹2의 316명은 확인적 요인분석을 실시하여 변화동기 척도의 구성개념을 검증하였다. 그룹1의 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 31개 문항으로 구성된 3개 요인 구조가 적합한 것으로 나타났으며, 그룹2의 확인적 요인분석 결과, 3개 요인구조의 수정모형 적합도가 양호하게 확인됨에 따라 성장 및 변화를 위한 변화동기 척도의 구성개념타당도가 입증되었다. 성장 및 발전을 위한 변화동기 척도의 수렴타당도와 준거관련타당도 분석을 위해 다양한 변인과의 상관을 분석한 결과, 3개 각 요인은 대부분의 변인과 유의하게 관련된 것으로 확인되었다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의 및 시사점과 제한점, 미래 연구 등에 관해 논의하였다.

대학생 도박경험자의 스트레스 및 도박변화동기가 단도박 자기효능감에 미치는 융복합 영향 연구 (Convergence Study on the Effects of Stress and Gambling Change Motivation on Gambling Abstinence Self-Efficacy among College Students Using Gambling)

  • 본 연구는 대학생 도박경험자의 단도박 자기효능감에 영향을 미치는 융복합적 요인을 파악하기 위해 시도되었다. 연구대상자는 C시 및 G시에 소재한 대학교 2곳에서 도박 경험이 있는 학생들을 대상자로 하였다. 연구방법은 서술적 조사연구이며 빈도분석, Pearson's correlation coefficients 및 다중희귀분석을 실시하였다. 자료수집기간은 2018년 11월 1일 부터 12월 31일이다. 상관관계분석에서 스트레스(r=-.314, p<.001), 도박변화동기(r=.272, p=.001)는 단도박 자기효능감과 유의미한 상관관계를 보여 스트레스가 낮을수록, 도박변화동기가 높을수록 단도박 자기효능감이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 다중회귀분석에서 단도박 자기효능감에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것은 스트레스(${\beta}=-.29$, p<.001), 도박변화동기 (${\beta}=.25$, p=.003) 순으로 확인되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 대학생 도박경험자들의 단도박 자기효능감을 높이기 위해 스트레스에 대한 관리 및 도박변화동기를 강화하기 위한 도박예방교육프로그램이 필요함을 시사하고 있다.

알코올의존자의 변화동기 설명 요인 (The Study on Predictors of Motivation to Change in People with an Alcohol Dependence)

  • 본 연구는 알코올의존자의 변화동기를 설명할 수 있는 개인 음주관련 특성과 심리사회적 및 영적 변인을 파악하기 위해 시도되었다. 연구설계는 횡단적 조사연구이며, 대상자는 2개의 도시에 소재한 5개 병원에 알코올의존으로 진단을 받고 입원 중인 알코올의존자 209명이었다. 측정은 개인 음주관련 특성과 심리사회적 및 영적 변인을 포함한 자가보고식 설문지를 이용하였고, 자료분석은 SPSS 19.0 프로그램을 이용하였다. 본 연구결과 알코올의존자의 변화동기를 설명할 수 있는 주요 변인은 감사성향, 전문가 지지 및 최초 입원시기 연령이었고, 이들 변인은 변화동기를 22.7% 설명하였다. 변화동기에 대한 설명력이 가장 높은 변인은 감사성향이었고 다음은 전문가 지지였다. 결론적으로 알코올의존자의 변화동기 향상을 위해서는 감사성향과 전문가 지지와 같은 강점과 자원의 개입이 필요함을 알 수 있다.

ASI 프로그램이 과학영재 학생들의 과학 창의적 문제해결력과 과학 학습 동기에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of the ASI Program on the Scientific Creative Problem Solving Skill and Science Learning Motivation of Science Gifted Students)

  • This study investigates the effect of ASI program on the improvement of gifted students' scientific creative problem solving skill and science learning motivation. ASI developed by reflecting the characteristics of scientific inquiry. The study was aimed at Twenty elementary gifted students from C Gifted Education Program participated in the sixteen sessions of ASI curriculum from June 2010 to October 2010. First, we found that the ASP program is effective to improve the gifted students' scientific creative problem solving skill overall. Specifically, the ASI was effective in the sub-catagories of scientific creative problem solving skills such as 'fluency', 'flexibility', 'originality', and 'appropriateness'. However, there was no significant change in the sub-category of 'reliability' and 'elaborateness' Second, we found that the ASP program is effective to improve the gifted students' sscience learning motivation overall. Specifically, the ASI was effective in the sub-catagories of science problem solving skills such as 'intrinsic motivation', 'correlation with personal goal', 'self-determination', and 'fear of evaluation'. However, there was no significant change in the sub-category of 'extrinsic motivation' and 'self-efficacy'. summary, the ASI program was shown to be effective for improving their scientific creative problem solving skill and scientific learning motivation; This study implies that the ASI curriculum would be a effective tool to help gifted students to improve their ascientific creative problem solving skill and their motivation to learn science.

살충제 달걀 파동에 대한 소비자의 행동변화에서 보호동기이론의 적용 가능성 검토 (Investigation of the Possibility of Applying Protection Motivation Theory in Consumers' Changes by Fipronil Egg Contamination)

  • This study examined the effects of response-facilitating factors(Food-related Knowledge, Response-Efficacy, and Self-Efficacy) and response-inhibiting factors(Severity, Vulnerability, and Consumer Stress) on the consumer' behavior intention based on protection motivation theory, which explains the behavioral change to protect oneself. This study was conducted to reduce the customers' concerns regarding food safety accidents and introduce ways to make them more interested in food safety. A sample of 225 adults over 19 years of age was collected in February 2018 through a self-administered questionnaire. The results of the cognitive mediation process of protective motivation theory showed that the consumers' knowledge and self-efficacy which are response-facilitating factors, positively influence the behavioral intention. Severity and consumer stress were response-inhibiting factors. On the other hand, response-efficacy, which is a response-facilitating factor, and vulnerability, which is a response-inhibiting factor, did not influence the behavioral intention. Therefore, severity and consumer stress are response-inhibiting factors. The results were analyzed as a result of a behavioral change to protect oneself from food safety accidents. The applicability of the theory of protection motivation on the topic of food safety was also confirmed.

장애인의 재활 동기 측정도구 개발 (Development of an Instrument to Measure the Motivation for Rehabilitation in the Disabled)

  • Purpose: to develop an instrument to assess the rehabilitation motivation and to test its reliability and validity. Method: The data was collected with in-depth interviews of nine participants that include adults with disabilities acquired after they reached 18 years' of age. The development of the preliminary items was based on the theory of self-determination proposed by Deci & Ryan (1985) and the results from the analysis of the data. After these, appropriate specialists clarified the validity of the contents of the preliminary items twice. A test to reliability and validity was conducted with 186 disabled. A principal axis factor analysis with oblimin rotation was performed on 29 items. Result: Finally 27 items were selected. The 5-factor solution emerged as the most appropriate model for the data. The different types of motivation for rehabilitation were identified as: task-oriented motivation, change-oriented motivation, obligatory motivation, external motivation, and amotivation. The alpha coefficient of internal consistency was .85. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that the instrument to measure motivation for the rehabilitation of the disabled may be a useful instrument with a high degree of reliability and validity.

Roles of Threat and Coping Appraisal in Adoption of Green Information Technology: Ordered Protection Motivation Theory Perspective

  • While many surveys show very positive attitudes on the part of consumers towards eco-friendly products, the market share actually reflecting green IT purchases remains low in most countries. The motivations behind green IT purchase behavior are still obscure. Several studies have addressed the question of green IT diffusion from economic and normative viewpoints in an attempt to interpret IT adoption behavior. This study comes at the question from a different angle, namely negative frame, examining threat and coping behaviors using the Ordered Protection Motivation (OPM) model and threat appraisal theory. The results show that attitudes toward fairness and positive change, which are precedents of threat appraisal, play an important role in determining threat appraisal. Perceived threats in the green IT arena include habit change and ecological change. Appraisal for coping with these threats directly affects initial adoption behaviors regarding available green IT, and then indirectly encourages the purchase of new green IT products.

The Role of Transformational Leadership toward Work Performance through Intrinsic Motivation: A Study in the Pharmaceutical Field in Vietnam

  • The study aims to identify the role of transformational leadership toward work performance through intrinsic motivation in pharmaceutical field by a survey of 220 pharmacists in Vietnam. The pharmaceutical industry in Vietnam is experiencing rapid growth, accompanied by the need for a change in leadership for managers. The transformational leadership creates a proactive, positive attitude, passion, interest or an increase in intrinsic motivation of employees, thereby affecting work performance. This study performed reliable verification by Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, then the factors are analyzed by EFA before conducting multivariate regression analysis. The results showed that the transformational leadership style includes such factors as: idealized influence (attributed and behavior), inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, individualized consideration have a positive impact on intrinsic motivation and thereby positively affecting work performance. It confirms that employees will have a higher intrinsic motivation level when working under transformational leadership from their leaders. It makes employees work more efficiently. According to the research results, the pharmacist has an intrinsic motivation to work hard on tasks that contribute to the group overall goal of. That requires managers to have a task assignment strategy to connect the goals of the members together as well as of the members to the group.
