In this paper, I seek to differentiate the meaning of the auxiliary verb '-e ka-' from imperfective aspect in Korean. The progressive in imperfective is expressed by the 'be+V-ing' in English and '-ko iss-' in Korean. However the '-e ka-' in Korean can express the gradual progress meaning. This is similar to the progressive of some state verbs. These verbs cannot express the progressive aspect but it is possible if they can express the change of state in sentence. It is more corresponding to the '-e ka-' than '-ko iss-' in Korean.

The meaning of light is not always developed aspect in process of architecture history as essence worth of the architecture. It means that architectural light is not affected simple development of civilization, but it has more complex aspect. The technology of applying architecture has continuous development of society that light is possible to extend quantity by development of technology because light is component not simple material or tools but strong worthy aspect, quality development of architecture comes true by exact understanding and application. Conversion from medieval society to modern society begins at the Industrial Revolution has new skills and materials, the architectural conform general space filled with non-characteristic light, and it gives rising to pursuit Utopia is not exist frequently. In result, light of metaphysical meaning is diminished and exterminated. In other hand light seems to be tools by development of technology in modern society, recovering its own meaning in other aspect. That light makes perfect image of architecture not by finite meaning only for simple space but by expressing strongly point that unify the whole architectural composition. Light is free from partial material of architecture. Light activates major composition through high-technology, and has possibility to carry out the essential worth animate architecture. The light expresses relative speciality for sense of place recognizes major component which the human being lives in and conform the real meaning of architecture.

The purpose of this study is to analyze how a mathematics teacher and a high school student make the meaning in a graph and how aspects of the interpretation of a graph are interacted during the signification process, and to suggest considerations for teaching and learning of a graph. The findings of a case study have led to conclusions as follows: All of them have a difficulty in making the meaning in a graph and construct the meaning as a nested signification model. In the process which they make the meaning, they interrelate cognitive, contextual, and affective aspects and construct interpretants. In this process, a teacher focuses on cognitive aspect, based on a qualitative approach. But a student considers contextual aspect more, based on a quantitative approach. This study suggests three considerations for teaching and learning of a graph.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the meaning of housework for home education. The methodology applied in this study bases on reinterpretation of references concerned with 'housework' and 'education'. The meaning of housework for home education can be analyzed in three aspects, that is, individual, domestic, and social aspect. Houseworkers be capable of developing their physical, emotional, cognitive, and social ability through houseworks. What is more, they are to internalize the culture of home and society. The meaning of housework for home education, however, has gradually been forgotten in people's mind with the appearance of rationalism of modern society. The particular process of modernization in our country has uncovered the negative aspect of housework and continually emphased that point. Thus now people consider housework as only something troublesome. The conclusion of this study is that, for the purpose of our 'noble life as man', we should recover and emphasize the importance of the meaning of housework for home education. The Purpose of this study was to find a phase of clothing in Korean proverb. The results of the analysis of this research was as follows： In the case of headgear, was expose that symbolize handsomeness, conduct of life, personality that display charm and position which is not usage as only head protection. Upper wear was expressing aspect and person's similarity, and was symbolizing conduct of life by meaning of dress and its ornaments according to a person that dress displays that change. Trousers(bottom wear) was expose that it means aspect or conduct of life(a 4 case, 40％) through site. Overcoat showed that overcoat that is clothes that is symbolizing wearer's situation, aspect and wear most on face because is involved with behavior that is not right in clothes usage is used by standard that foretell personality. Underwear can know that expressed being involved with right behavior, nature by the basic clothes. I was able to know that I express an attitude of a life or a form through shoe, and the accessories won an minor order but that I have a large influence on a character or the appearance of a person. Silk fabrics expresses Position, and hemp cloth expressed by symbol that display ability. Also, silk fabrics had meaning that hint person's background. Dress and its ornaments that is used in proverb by these result can know that have function as symbolic symbol that display Person's nature or situation, aspect that is wearing clothes that is not function as only simple clothes.

The purpose of this study is to understand teaching and learning mathematics in elementary school classroom by considering mathematics as a kind of social practices and mathematics classroom as a kind of community of practice. The research questions of this study are as followings: 1) Which kinds of lesson organization reveal? 2) Which kinds of social participation structure reveal? 3) Which processes of making meaning reveal? This study was based on ethnomethodology. It was executed participation observations, interviews and surveys with teacher and 5 graders to collect the data related to the social practices formed their classroom. The social practices of mathematics classroom was analyzed from three aspects such as lesson organization, social participation structure and making meaning. The results from which we analyzed the social practices of the mathematics classroom are as followings. From the aspect of lessons organization, the teacher had a lot of power and authorities in the classroom and used them to elicitate students' responses. From the aspect of social participation structure, five SPSs(social participation structures) which revealed in Jo(1997)'s economics classrooms, were shown in this mathematics classroom, but there were a difference to the situations or frequencies which the SPSs appeared. From the aspect of making meaning, it was common that meanings are formed by the explanation of the teacher, but the teacher didn't deliver the mathematical meanings directly. She tried to interact with students to arrive shared meanings.

Objectives : I would find out the exact interpretation and meaning of 'Yin sheng ze Yang bing Yang sheng ze Yin bing' in "Su Wen(素問) Yin Yang Yin Xiang Da Lun(陰陽應象大論)". Methods : I had searched the opinions of annotators about this paragraph and compared treatment principles that clinicians, such as Son Samak(孫思邈), Lee Cheon developed. Results : This paragraph is related to theory of the paragraph 'chong han ze re(重寒則熱), chong re ze han(重熱則寒)'. Yin and Yang in Yin sheng and Yang sheng mean the chill and heat of herb, food or symptoms, Yin and Yang in Yang bing and Yin bing mean outer and inner portion in body. Conclusions : The meaning of this paragraph moved from the aspect of recuperation to the aspect of disease-related change.

The purpose of this study is to examine the concept of modern consumer society and to analyze how the meaning of postmodern-feminism is consumed into what image of preference in fashion. The function of modern society has changed into the system which is centered around consumption from the one that emphasizes labor and production of mass consumption age by mass production. In this consumer society, consumption means just not to waste of production but to consume the commodity sign reflected on the desire of a moderner. In other words, it means what is consumed will be the meaning, preference, symbol, and image mood not goods itself with physical feature. Existing feminism has affected by postmodernism. Due to that, postmodern-feminism has developed, taking to pieces the paternal argument since the late 1960s. It has tried to give up hope this idea, regarding sex distinction as a socially organized category contrary to women's identity of biological aspect suppressed in the paternal system of value. Especially it has demanded only one type on sex should be translated into a distinctive quality, multiple meaning, and sex. Accordingly in modern fashion, this aspect is expressed like the followings : distinction into women's image evaded fixation, multiple meaning into image of androgyny, multiple sex into that of mixture. And this is used as the image of symbolic goods, also the purpose of brand difference.

This study is to examine the meaning of death, the level of death anxiety, and the aspect of death anxiety that the aged have. For this, a quantitative research subjecting 532 of the aged living in local area, Jeollabuk-do was carried out. And among those 532 questionnaires, 10 were subjected for depth interview. The following is a summary of the result from this study. First, the meaning of death for the aged is classified into three classes as positive, neutral and negative meaning. Among these, there were far greater numbers of the aged who put neutral or negative meanings on their death than the positive one. Second, death anxiety of the aged are divided into three factors: 'annihilation anxiety', 'process anxiety', and 'afterdeath anxiety'. The factor that involves death anxiety the most was process anxiety, then afterdeath anxiety, and annihilation anxiety, in the order. Third, as a result of classifying the feature of death anxiety in the aged into the symptoms of death anxiety and the motive of recognizing death anxiety. Death anxiety is classified into the people with symptoms and those without symptoms, and those with certain symptoms are classified into the physical symptoms and the mental symptoms. The motive of recognizing death anxiety appeared when the individual is aged, experiences the death of other people, suffers physical pains, and when there is a mental loneliness.

Vyshyvanka, the embroidered folk costume shirt of Ukraine, originated during the early reign of the Slavs, and currently, it is also called Ukrainian embroidery. In cases of Vyshyvanka embroidery expressed in apparel elements, it is necessary to research formative characteristics for expanding the visual aspect through the diversification of techniques, but also the aspect of the psychological meaning to Ukrainians. This study aims to consider Vyshyvanka as a unique embroidery technique, and also analyze the formative characteristics expressed in apparel elements. The study of Vyshyvanka embroidery expressed in apparel elements can present meaning to understanding the Ukrainian fashion. The image materials for the analysis of Vyshyvanka design, included work photos contained in literary materials and foreign online visual materials. The results of formatively analyzing the Vyshyvanka embroidery expressed in apparel are as follows. First, the Vyshyvanka embroidery expressed in apparel elements held an incantatory meaning, protecting wearers from getting easily invaded by evil spirits. Second, the Vyshyvanka patterns utilized symbolism that implied the incantatory meaning. Third, a single color was used for the embroidery. Lastly, materials like cotton, that are easy to embroider, were mostly used. The formative characteristics of Vyshyvanka embroidery expressed in apparel elements implied the community spirit, nature worship, and folk beliefs. As an attempt to understand the Ukrainian fashion, this study is significant in the aspect of expanding, widely utilizing, and expanding the range of understanding of Ukrainian fashion. Therefore, there should be more active researches on Ukrainian fashion, so Vyshyvanka can be more widely used as a design element.
