  • In this paper, we will find out the general solution and investigate the generalized Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability problem for the following cubic functional equation 3f(x+3y)+f(3x-y)=15f(x+y)+15f(x-y)+80f(y). The concept of Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability originated from Th. M. Rassias# stability theorem that appeared in his paper: On the stability of the linear mapping in Banach spaces, Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. 72(1978), 297-300.

  • To understand the interaction of a fluid and a rigid body, we use the concept of B-evolution. Then in a similar way to the usual Navier-Stokes system, we obtain a Helmholtz type decomposition. Using B-evolution theory and the decomposition, we work on the semigroup to analyze the linear part of the system.

  • The main purpose of this work is to suggest a new approach to teaching general topology to undergraduate students. First, we change the order of contents. Usually, we introduce definitions, examples, theorems, and problems in this order. But, showing familiar examples of some concept of topology prior to the definition of one is the best method so far as I know from teaching experience of topology, which students feel very hard because of its abstractness. For more efficiency, mathematics-clubs each consisting of three or four students in topology course are established. This makes students very positive in topology class.

  • In this paper the concept of somewhat pairwise fuzzy continuous functions and somewhat pairwise fuzzy open functions are introduced. Some interesting properties of these functions are investigated besides giving some characterizations of these functions.

  • As a generalizaton of the concepts of fuzzy strongly semiopen sets and fuzzy strongly semicontinuous maps, we introduce the concepts of fuzzy strongly r-semiopen sets and fuzzy strongly r-semicontinuous maps in fuzzy topology. Also we introduce fuzzy r-semicontinuous and fuzzy r-semiclosure. By these concept, we characterize fuzzy strongly r-semicontinuous, fuzzy strongly r-semiopen and fuzzy strongly r-semiclosed maps.

  • The concept of "almost invertibility modulo closed ideals" in L(X, Y) was introduced, implicitly, by Robin Harte [1, Theorem 3.9.5]. The aims of this note are to make the formal definition of "almost left and right invertible modulo closed ideals" operators and show that they form open sets.they form open sets.

  • In this paper, we introduce the concept of the semi-preconvex set on preconvexity spaces. We study some properties for the semi-preconvex set. Also we introduce the concepts of the sc-convex function and $s^*c$-convex function. Finally, we characterize sc-convex functions, $s^*$-convex functions and semi-preconvex sets by using the co-convexity hull and the convexity hull.

  • Let D be an integral domain, X an indeterminate over D, $N_v = \{f{\in}D[X]|(A_f)_v=D\}.$. Among other things, we introduce the concept of t-locally PVDs and prove that $D[X]N_v$ is a locally PVD if and only if D is a t-locally PVD and a UMT-domain, if and only if D[X] is a t-locally PVD, if and only if each overring of $D[X]N_v$ is a locally PVD.

  • Main purpose of this paper is to combine the optimal form of Fan's best approximation theorem and Nash's equilibrium existence theorem into a single existence theorem simultaneously. For this, we first prove a general best proximity pair theorem which includes a number of known best proximity theorems. Next, we will introduce a new equilibrium concept for a generalized Nash game with normal form, and as applications, we will prove new existence theorems of Nash equilibrium pairs for generalized Nash games with normal form.
