Linear invariance is closely related to the concept of uniform local univalence. We give a geometric proof that a holomorphic locally univalent function defined on the open unit disk is linearly invariant if and only if it is uniformly locally univalent.

Using the concept of codes on ordered sets introduced by Brualdi, Graves and Lawrence, we consider perfect codes on the ordinal sum of two ordered sets, the standard ordered sets and the disjoint sum of two chains.

We are to present some properties of binary relations by means of categorical method. The concept of semi-topogenous structures is due to Cs$\acute{a}$sz$\acute{a}$r. Using this, we give a new definition of a $\sigma$-topogenous structure as a particular type of semi-topogenous structure.

Two subgroups U and V of a finite group G are called to be p-conjugate for a prime p if a Sylow p-subgroup of U is conjugate to a Sylow p-subgroup of V. This concept of p-conjugacy also makes sense for some infinite groups with a reasonable Sylow theory.

Since P. Erdos introduced the concept of "subset-sum-distinctness", lots of mathematicians have been interested in a "dense" set having distinct subset sums. In this paper, we establish a couple of theorems on maximal subset-sun-distinct sequence with respect to the set inclusion.

We shall introduce the concept of almost causality condition. By defining the almost causality condition we would like to examine the relationship between Woodhouse's causality principle and other known causality conditions. We show that a series of causality conditions can be characterized by using the almost causality condition.

From the notion of bi-ideals in near-rings, various generalizations of regularity conditions have been studied. In this paper, we generalize further the notion of bi-ideals and introduce the notion of weak bi-ideals in near-rings and obtain some characterizations using this concept in left self distributive near-rings.
