  • We introduce the concepts of a gradation of supraopenness, $S(S^*)$-gradation preserving maps, and weakly $S(S^*)$-gradation preserving maps. And we investigate several properties of such concepts.

  • In this paper, we prove common fixed point theorems for families of occasionally weakly compatible mappings in Menger spaces using implicit relation. Our results extend and generalize the results of Altun and Turkoglu [9] in the sense that the concept of occasionally weakly compatible maps is the most general among all the commutativity concepts. Also the completeness of the whole space, continuity of the involved maps and containment of ranges amongst involved maps are completely relaxed.

  • The main results concern with the self maps on the Klein bottle. We obtain the Reidemeister numbers and the Nielsen numbers for all self maps on the Klein bottle. In terms of the Nielsen numbers of their iterates, we totally determine the minimal sets of periods for all homotopy classes of self maps on the Klein bottle.

  • Recently, some authors [3, 4, 11, 12, 15] adopted the concept of the so-called generalized R-KKM maps which are used to rewrite known results in the KKM theory. In the present paper, we show that those maps are simply KKM maps on G-convex spaces. Consequently, results on generalized R-KKM maps follow the corresponding previous ones on G-convex spaces.

  • This paper examines the use of fuzzy cognitive maps to help understand manufacturing strategy processes. This technique is illustrated through a case study of a manufacturing strategy formulation. Advantages of fuzzy cognitive maps are highlighted by comparing the level of understanding before and after the technique was used. The merit from the use of fuzzy cognitive maps for manufacturing strategy formulation is also discussed. (Manufacturing Strategy Formulation, Fuzzy Cognitive Map, Strategy Process Model, Feedback)

  • In this note we extend the results of [3] concerning subadditive separating maps from A=C(X) to B=C(Y), for compact Hausdorff spaces X and Y, to the case where A and B are regular Banach function algebras(not necessarily unital) with A satisfying Ditkin#s condition. In particular we describe the general form of these maps and get a result on continuity of separating linear functionals.

  • As a generalizaton of the concepts of fuzzy strongly semiopen sets and fuzzy strongly semicontinuous maps, we introduce the concepts of fuzzy strongly r-semiopen sets and fuzzy strongly r-semicontinuous maps in fuzzy topology. Also we introduce fuzzy r-semicontinuous and fuzzy r-semiclosure. By these concept, we characterize fuzzy strongly r-semicontinuous, fuzzy strongly r-semiopen and fuzzy strongly r-semiclosed maps.
