평생교육의 비교교육학적 접근: 가능성과 한계 (A Comparative Pedagogical Approach to Lifelong Education: Possibilities and Limitations)

  • 평생학습의 가치가 부각 되면서 각국은 평생학습의 시스템을 구축하는 데 노력을 경주하고 있다. 이러한 경향에 따라 논문에서는 평생학습 참여율, 학습성과, 학습지원 인프라, 학습비 지원, 평생학습 결과 인정 등을 국제 비교하고자 한다. 비교교육학적 접근을 위하여 Bray와 Thomas(1995)의 비교교육학적 프레임인 지리적/지역 수준, 비지정학적 인구 통계학 집단, 사회와 교육측면의 큐브를 활용하였다. 우리나라의 평생학습 참여율은 2017년 34.4%로 OECD국가 평균 46%보다 낮다. 성인의 역량을 측정하는 PIAAC 조사에서는 언어능력, 수리력, 컴퓨터 기반 문제해결력 3영역 모두 OECD국가 평균보다 낮았다. 사전학습 인증에서 EU국가는 EQF를 개발하여 모든 비형식, 무형식 학습의 결과에 가치를 부여하고 있다, 반면 한국은 학점은행제에 의하여 자격을 학점은행제 학점으로 인정하고 있다. 평생학습의 국제비교는 한 국가의 평생학습의 실태를 진단하고 향후 평생학습 정책을 수립하는데 중요한 자료로 활용될 수 있다, 유럽의 시민사회 형성과 맥락을 같이 하였다. 따라서 평생학습의 비교교육학적 접근은 근대국가의 형성 과정과 특성 등 역사적 맥락과 사회경제적 성격, 인구 동태 등에 따라 다르다는 것을 견지할 필요가 있다.

Does Learning Matter for Wages in Korea? International Comparison of Wage Returns to Adult Education and Training

  • This study compares the wage equation in Korea to those in other countries, focusing on the wage returns to adult education and training (AET) participation. It is found that the wage compensation structure in Korea is associated mainly with job characteristics such as tenure and workplace size rather than with worker characteristics such as AET participation and cognitive abilities. It is also found that Korea's AET participation is skewed toward non-job-related AET, relative to the situations in other countries. These findings imply that the link between a worker's productivity and wage should be strengthened in order to incentivize workers to invest in AET relevant to the labor market.

미혼취업자의 여가시간 및 영향요인 연구 (Leisure Time of Unmarried Workers and Influencing Factors)

  • This study explores how unmarried workers use their leisure time according to the 2009 Korean Time Use Survey. The purposes of this study are: 1) to investigate leisure time as it relates to leisure participation rates and leisure participation time and 2) to analyze the effect of socio-demographic variables on leisure time and leisure participation by unmarried workers. The following is a summary of the major findings. First, leisure participation differed with variations in leisure activities. Unmarried workers participated in media contact, human relations activities, and hobby activities more than other activities. Participation in learning activities was higher on weekdays than on Sunday. Men participated in sports and outdoor activities more than women on Sundays. The participation rate of media contact was the highest, while the participation rate of volunteer activities was the lowest. Second, influencing factors on leisure time included gender, age, monthly income, and gender role attitudes when work time was controlled. For example, unmarried workers with egalitarian attitudes spent less leisure time. Third, gender was the strongest determinant of leisure participation. The probability of women's leisure participation was higher than men except in regards to sports and outdoor activities, and hobby activities.

자기주도학습능력 향상을 위한 프로그램이 대학생의 자기주도학습 능력에 미치는 효과 (Effects of a Program to Improve Self-Directed Learning Skills on College Students' Self-Directed Learning Skills)

  • 본 연구에서는 대학생의 자기주도학습 능력 향상을 위한 프로그램 참여가 자기주도학습능력의 동기, 인지, 행동 영역에 미치는 효과를 분석하였다. 연구 대상은 D지역 소재, 대학교 재학생 2,302명으로, 데이터 수집은 2022년 3월 2일부터 12월 31일까지 이루어졌다. 자기주도학습능력 향상을 위한 프로그램에 참여한 실험군(751명)과 참여하지 않은 대조군(1551명)을 비교한 결과, 실험군은 0.24점 증가하였고, 대조군은 0.08점 증가하여 두 그룹 간에 유의한 차이(t=34.89, p<.001)를 나타냈다. 프로그램 참여 횟수에 따른 자기주도학습 능력 점수의 사후 비교분석에서, 프로그램 참가 1회~3회와 4회~6회는 0.067점 차이(p<.001), 4회~6회와 7회 이상은 -0.135점 차이(p<.001), 1회~3회와 7회 이상은 0.067점 차이(p<.001)로 유의하게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 자기주도학습능력은 대학 교육에서 중요한 역량으로 인식되며, 프로그램참여를 촉진하고 참여 횟수를 높이는 노력이 중요하다.

전문간호사 교육과정생의 실습소속감 경험: 학습연계과정 (Experience of Belongingness at Apprentice Course for Advanced Practice Nurse: Learning-connected Process)

  • Purpose: This study was to explore the process of belongingness experienced during the apprentice course for advanced practice nurses. Methods: Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 15 people, who attended the apprentice course for advanced practice nurse, from three schools in Seoul from Jan. 19 until Feb. 25, 2010. The constant comparative method was adapted for data analysis. Results: The core category of this study was the 'learning-connected process' and this process was categorized into three stages. These stages were: going along with the atmosphere, exchanging, and integrating. During the course, the 'uncomfortable participation' as the central idea meant a sense of responsibility and a tension about practice learning of the participant and was influenced by the quality of interaction and the distinct instruction of learning contents. Belongingness was characterized by the Joyful and happy participation which linked to the motivation of new learning opportunities. Conclusion: The findings indicate that there is a process to belongingness and a close relationship between belongingness and learning. Further studies would suggest exploring the components of belongingness, a concept analysis and incorporating the belongingness scale with other qualitative research on this topic.

The impacts on school life of a occupational therapy student use of smartphone

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate occupational therapy at M college in Changwon and the impact of smart phone use on the school life of college students and to help them find ways to further develop in the future. Methods; Data collection was conducted using questionnaires, and the questionnaires consisted of 152 total questions with 15 interpersonal questions, 23 problem solving skills, 43 self-efficacy, 16 class participation scale, and 55 self-directed learning scale. It was conducted to first and second graders of M college and conducted a survey through the corresponding academic year from March 26, 2019 to March 29, 2019 to retrieve 120 questionnaires and use them for analysis. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS. Statistic 20.0. Results: Studies show that "school life satisfaction" is usually the highest at 53 percent. The "smartphone user motivation" was the highest with 50.8 percent, while the "most frequently used feature on smartphones" was the highest with 57.5 percent on SNS. Satisfaction after using a smartphone was the highest with 49.2 percent, while 41.7 percent said it would be easier to acquire and utilize information in the areas of satisfaction. Conclusion: Smartphone addiction, interpersonal relationships, problem-solving skills, self-efficacy, participation in classes, and self-control learning items are not only affected by one part, but also by the other.

의사-환자 역할극을 통한 참여형 임상실습 만족도 조사 (A Survey of Students' Satisfaction on Participation Learning Using Role-play in Clerkship)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to evaluate students' satisfaction on participation learning using role-play in clerkship of Oriental Ophthalmology & Otolaryngology department. Methods : In 2012, 93 sixth grade students undergoing Oriental Ophthalmology & Otolaryngology clerkship were included in this study. The students listened to a lecture on nasal disease. And three days later, Students were randomly divided into two groups, doctor or patient, and performed role-play in their role. After role- play, they completed the questionnaire, the questionnaire was composed of 16 items. Results : Mean of total satisfaction score was 4.14. Mean of interest and appropriacy score was 4.48, mean of usefulness satisfaction was 3.93. There was no significant difference in mean scores by the role groups. Students evaluated the role-play in clerkship positively. Conclusions : Students evaluated the role-play that it was interesting and useful educational tool in clerkship. It is necessary to undergo further trials and complement programs to upgrade the quality of Oriental medical clerkship.

수업 만족도에 영향을 미치는 수업참여 요인 : 치기공(학)과 학생을 중심으로 (A Study on Class Participation Factors that Affect the Class Satisfaction : Focusing on Students of Dental Technology Department)

  • Purpose: In this study, we aim to provide primary source of data for developing a learning program that enhances the students' learning by critically analyzing and adopting the effective class participation factors of the students. Methods: A questionnaire survey has been conducted from the beginning of May to the end of October, 2017. Subjects of the survey was the dental technology students living in W-city et al by random sampling method along with written informed consent. Out of 630 distributed questionnaires, 584 results were used for our analysis. Results: Firstly, the average score of the class participation of all the subjects was 3.08 points out of 5.0, which was broken down into class activity (3.53 points), passion about class (3.51 points), communication factors (2.88 points), class preparation (2.77 points), class extension (2.76 points). Secondly, statistically significant correlations were found between class participation and class satisfaction as shown in (p<.01). Class participation factors that affect the class satisfaction were class preparation(p<.001), class activities(p<.001), passion about class(p<.001), which reveals positive and meaningful results. Explanatory power of the model turned out 50.3%. Conclusion : Considering that class preparation, class activities, and passion about class played a key role in class satisfaction of the student, teachers need to be open minded to reflect the learners' personalized demands and needs in preparing and managing their class. Additionally should be in tandem that provides the students with various routes of class participation.

농촌 공정관광의 재참여 결정요인 (Determinants of Re-participation for Rural Responsible Tourism)

  • Responsible tourism has become an established area of the tourism industry. This study aims to identify the factors that influence re-participation in responsible tourism in rural Korea. On-site survey was conducted on 436 tourists by seven responsible tourism agencies in Korea. The motivation for responsible tourists was categorized into seven types: family togetherness, escape and relaxation, personal growth, social interaction, various experiences, learning, and natural experience. The estimation of a binary logistic regression model determined the characteristics of responsible tourists who are most likely to opt for re-participation in responsible tourism. Results indicated that important factors for re-participation in responsible tourism were 'age', 'educational level', 'accompany', 'length of stay', and 'motivation'. The results implied that tourists' internal and external factors are important for re-participation in responsible tourism. It is expected that this study will contribute to the market expansion of responsible tourism.

학습자의 학습양식이 웹 기반 혼합교육의 효과에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Learning Style of Students on Web based Blended Learning)

  • 본 연구는 학습자의 학습양식이 혼합교육의 효과에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 2008년도와 2009년도에 혼합교육으로 진행된 신경해부학을 이수한 물리치료과 1학년생 102명의 자료를 대상으로 하였다. 혼합교육은 13주 동안 주당 3시간의 강의실 수업과 16강 24강좌로 구성된 온라인 수업으로 구성되었다. Kolb의 학습양식에 따라 분류한 결과 융합자가 가장 많았다. 학습양식에 따른 유의한 차이는 없었으나, 혼합교육을 가장 선호하고(학습자의 92.1%), 혼합교육에 의해 학습참여도(학습자의 55.5%)와 흥미도(학습자의 58.8%)가 향상되었으며, 혼합교육이 학습에 도움이 된 것으로(학습자의 85.1%) 나타났다. 강의만족도에 있어서는 학습양식에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었는데, 융합자의 만족도가 80.7%로 가장 높게 나타나 적응자의 만족도인 67.5%와 유의한 차이를 보였다.
