$CaTi_{1-x}Fe_xO_3(0{\leq}x{\leq}0.4)$ solid solution photocatalysts were synthesized by iron doping during the conventional solid state reaction at $1100^{\circ}C$ for 5 h and characterized by ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis) absorption spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, morphological analysis. We found that $CaTi_{1-x}Fe_xO_3$ samples not only absorb UV but also the visible light photons. This is because the Fe substitution at Ti-site in $CaTi_{1-x}Fe_xO_3$ lattice induces the band transition from Fe3d to the Fe3d + Ti3d hybrid orbital. The photocatalytic activity of Fe doped $CaTiO_3$ samples for hydrogen production under UV light irradiation decreased with the increase in the Fe concentration. There exists an optimized concentration of iron in $CaTiO_3$, which yields a maximum photocatalytic activity under visible light ($\lambda\geq420nm$) photons.
This paper was focused on the particulate matter (PM) on the gasoline and bio ethanol. Bio ethanol as a clean fuel is considered one of the alternative fuels that decreased the PM emission from the vehicle. Particle formation in SI engine was depended on the fuel and engine operating condition. In this paper, Particle number concentration behaviors were analyzed by DMS500 (Differential Mobility Spectrometer) and CPC (Condensation Particle Counter) instrument which was recommended by PMP (Particle Measurement Programme). Particle emissions were measured with various engine operating variables such as air excess ratio ($\lambda$), spark timing and intake valve opening (IVO) at part load condition. In vehicle test, the number of particulate matter was analyzed with golden particle measurement system, which was consist of CVS (Constant Volume Sampler), particle number counter and particle number diluter.

In terms of this paper, concerning primarily with the U-tube tank stabilizer, the authors' aim is to clarify and consolidate the theory as it has been developed thus far, and to provide with the certain additions which will make it more complete, more accurate, and more practical. And then we can know that the effect of the vertical tank position from the C.G., $a_{st}=1-w^2/{w^2}_{st}$, is very important, on account for the fact that the position factor, $a_{st}$, increase when the anti-rolling tank attaches to higher position vertically, but $a_{st}$ does not increase in proportion to the distance of the tank position. Measuring many characteristic coefficients by experiment, in the equation of the ship-tank system motion, such as the inertia coefficient, the damping coefficient, the natural frequency and so on, they can also give a guess that the higher position will accompany the non-linear motion of the tank water, but the non-linear effect will decrease the tank ability. In this study, they deal with not only the optimum damping coefficient of tank, which has very simply been expressed by the strength ratio, $\lambda$, but also the effect of the tank top, which has experimentally been treated when the water has hit the tank top. As this result, we can immediately find that the ability of the anti-rolling tank decrease at w/ws=0.9 generally low frequency.

We present [$Fe\;{\small{II}}$] ${\lambda}1.257{\mu}m$ spectra toward the interacting binary UY Aur with 0".14 angular resolution, obtained with the Near infrared Integral Field Spectrograph (NIFS) combined with the adaptive optics system Altair of the GEMINI observatory. In the [$Fe\;{\small{II}}$] emission, UY Aur A (primary) is brighter than UY Aur B (secondary). The blueshifted and redshifted emission between the primary and secondary show a complicated structure. The radial velocities of the [$Fe\;{\small{II}}$] emission features are similar for UY Aur A and B: ${\sim}-100km\;s^{-1}$ and ${\sim}+130km\;s^{-1}$ for the blueshifted and redshifted components, respectively. Considering the morphologies of the [$Fe\;{\small{II}}$] emissions and bipolar outflow context, we concluded that UY Aur A drives fast and widely opening outflows with an opening angle of ${\sim}90^{\circ}$ while UY Aur B has micro collimated jets.
In this study, cytolethal distending toxin (CDT) producer isolates genome were compared with genome of pathogenic and commensal Escherichia coli strains. Conserved genomic signatures among different types of CDT producer E. coli strains were assessed. It was shown that they could be used as biomarkers for research purposes and clinical diagnosis by polymerase chain reaction, or in vaccine development. cdt genes and several other genetic biomarkers were identified as signature sequences in CDT producer strains. The identified signatures include several individual phage proteins (holins, nucleases, and terminases, and transferases) and multiple members of different protein families (the lambda family, phage-integrase family, phage-tail tape protein family, putative membrane proteins, regulatory proteins, restriction-modification system proteins, tail fiber-assembly proteins, base plate-assembly proteins, and other prophage tail-related proteins). In this study, a sporadic phylogenic pattern was demonstrated in the CDT-producing strains. In conclusion, conserved signature proteins in a wide range of pathogenic bacterial strains can potentially be used in modern vaccine-design strategies.

In this study, we shall be concerned with computing in parallel a few of the smallest eigenvalues and their corresponding eigenvectors of the eigenvalue problem, $Ax={\lambda}Bx$, where A is symmetric, and B is symmetric positive definite. Both A and B are large and sparse. Recently iterative algorithms based on the optimization of the Rayleigh quotient have been developed, and CG scheme for the optimization of the Rayleigh quotient has been proven a very attractive and promising technique for large sparse eigenproblems for small extreme eigenvalues. As in the case of a system of linear equations, successful application of the CG scheme to eigenproblems depends also upon the preconditioning techniques. A proper choice of the preconditioner significantly improves the convergence of the CG scheme. The idea underlying the present work is a parallel computation of the Multi-Color Block SSOR preconditioning for the CG optimization of the Rayleigh quotient together with deflation techniques. Multi-Coloring is a simple technique to obatin the parallelism of order n, where n is the dimension of the matrix. Block SSOR is a symmetric preconditioner which is expected to minimize the interprocessor communication due to the blocking. We implemented the results on the CRAY-T3E with 128 nodes. The MPI(Message Passing Interface) library was adopted for the interprocessor communications. The test problems were drawn from the discretizations of partial differential equations by finite difference methods.

Smart gels have recently associated with photonic crystals to form photonic gels. Since these photonic gels are capable of reversibly converting the volume change of gels induced in response to external chemical or electric stimuli into characteristic optical signals, they have been considered not only as a good platform for label-free chemical or biological detection, actuators or optical switches but also as a good model system to investigate gel swelling behaviour. Recently, we reported block copolymer photonic gels self-assembled from polystyrene-b-poly(2-vinyl pyridine) (PS-b-P2VP) block copolymers, and demonstrated that selective swelling of lamellar structure allows extremely large tunability of the photonic stop band from UV region to IR region ($\lambda$ peak=350~1,600 nm). Herein we report block copolymer photonic gels which exhibit strong tunable optical hysteresis and their applications. As nonlinear responses in swelling of hydrogels were often observed, photonic gels exhibit optical hysteresis with change of external pH. We demonstrate such optical hysteresis can be precisely programmed by controlling ion-pairing affinity. We anticipate that photonic gels with carefully tunned optical hysteresis are applicable to optical memory devices.
Sulfisoxazole, $C-{11}H_{13}N_{3}S$, crystallized in the orthohombic system, space group Pbca, with a = 14.492(1), b = 11.563(1), c = 14.900(2) $\AA$ and Z = 8. Intensities for 1867(1360 observed) unique reflections were measured on a four-circle diffractometer wirh CuKa radiation ($\lambda$ = 1.5418$\AA$). The structure was solved by heavy atom methods and refined by full-matrix least-squares procedures to a final R of 0.094. The benzene ring plane makes an angle of $68^{\circ}C$ with the plane of the isoxazole ring, which is plannar. The conformational angle formed by the torsional angle C(4)-S-N(2)-C(7) is $54^{\circ}C$. There are two intermolecular hydrogen bonds in the structure. One of them is of the type N-H...H with the length 2.915$\AA$. Thus two dimensional networks of hydrogen bonds form infinite moelcular sheets parallel to the (001) plane. Adjacent sheets are bound together by van der Waals forces.

In this Paper, we present a non-doglegging channel routing system for If layout using standard cells. This system produces a final two-layer wiring pattern in the horizontal track between two rows, each of which is a linear placement of standard cells of identical heights, satisfying the given net list specification. The layout of CMOS cell library Including nine primitive cells used in this paper is represented in CIF (Caltech Intermediate Form) using λ(Lambda) of 2 microns in Mead-Conway layout representation scheme. The cell dimension and 1/0 characteristics such as name, position and layer type of the pins are stored in Component Library to be used in the channel routing progranl, CROUT. 4 subprogram, NET-PLOT, was used to report a schemdtic layout result, and another subprogram, NETCIF was used to with a full-fledged final layout representation in GIF, A test run for realizing a dynamicmaster-slave D flip-flop with set/reset using primitive cells was shown to take 4 CPU seconds on VAX 11/780.
Titanium dioxide $(TiO_2)$ thin film samples were prepared by using spray pyrolysis methodology and were by using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis. It was found that anatase prepared by the hydrolysis of titanium(Ⅳ) oxyacetylacetonate exhibited the largest specific surface area. The particle size increased with increasing temperature, while the thickness decreased. Titanium dioxide $(TiO_2)$ in the anatase form was prepared at $400^{\circ}C$ and the photoconductivity was determined using photocurrent measurements. Photoelectrochemical properties of the $TiO_2$-phthalocyanine system were measured in a three-electrode system. The photocurrent action spectrum in the visible region coincided with intrinsic absorption spectrum of phthalocyanine. The crystal structure of phthalocyanine is considered to be a very important property in the photogeneration phenomena.
