  • This paper shows that the Kronecker sequence, the rapid acquisition spreading code, can be used in packet wireless data communication systems. The general properties of the Kronecker sequence such as construction and correlation characteristics are described, and it is shown that the Kronecker sequence can use a partial-period correlation for a faster acquisition. Based on above Properties, it can be expected that the Kronecker sequence can be used in packet communication systems because the probability of false alarm for the Kronecker sequence is lower and flatter(that is, less sensitive to Ec/No variations) than that for the PN sequence under the assumption that both sequences have the same acquisition time.

  • We first provide the linear operator equations corresponding to the Tikhonov regularization image denoising problems with different regularization terms, and then we propose how to choose Kronecker product preconditioners which are required for accelerating the $G{\ell}$-PCG method. Next, we provide how to apply the $G{\ell}$-PCG method with Kronecker product preconditioner to the linear operator equations. Lastly, we provide numerical experiments for image denoisng problems to evaluate the effectiveness of the $G{\ell}$-PCG with Kronecker product preconditioner.

  • We first show how to construct the linear operator equations corresponding to Tikhonov regularization problems for solving image deblurring problems with nearly separable point spread functions. We next propose a Kronecker product preconditioner which is suitable for the global PCG method. Lastly, we provide numerical experiments of the global PCG method with the Kronecker product preconditioner for several image deblurring problems to evaluate its effectiveness.

  • A characterization of geodesic spheres in the simply connected space forms in terms of the ratio of the Gauss-Kronecker curvature and the (usual) mean curvature is given: An immersion of n dimensional compact oriented manifold without boundary into the n + 1 dimensional Euclidean space, hyperbolic space or open half sphere is a totally umbilicimmersion if the mean curvature $H_1$ does not vanish and the ratio $H_n$/$H_1$ of the Gauss-Kronecker curvature $H_n$ and $H_1$ is constant.

  • The Purpose of this paper contribute to design the multistate Markov process for the reliability of a system when the transition-rates of each unit depend on the current state of the system. The system transition-rate matrix has the form of the kronecker sum of transition rate matrices for the units, is analyzed and investigated. As a result, the system which has the state-dependent units is detaily analyzed and introduced by the approach of an algorithm for the system transition-rate matrix based on the kronecker algebra.

  • In this paper, we decompose (under unitary similarity) the Kronecker sum A ⊞ A (= A ⊗ I + I ⊗ A) into a direct sum of irreducible matrices, when A is a 3×3 matrix. As a consequence we identify 𝒦(A⊞A) as the direct sum of several full matrix algebras as predicted by Artin-Wedderburn theorem, where 𝒦(T) is the unital algebra generated by Tand T*.

  • Let $(X,\;B,\;{\mu},\;T)$ be a dynamical system and (Y, A, v, S) be a factor. We investigate the relative sequence entropy of a partition of X via the maximal compact extension of (Y, A, v, S). We define relative sequence entropy pairs and using them, we find the relative topological ${\mu}-Kronecker$ factor over (Y, v) which is the maximal topological factor having relative discrete spectrum over (Y, v). We also describe the topological Kronecker factor which is the maximal factor having discrete spectrum for any invariant measure.

  • In this paper, we study complete maximal space-like hypersurfaces with constant Gauss-Kronecker curvature in an antide Sitter space $H_1^4(-1)$. It is proved that complete maximal spacelike hypersurfaces with constant Gauss-Kronecker curvature in an anti-de Sitter space $H_1^4(-1)$ are isometric to the hyperbolic cylinder $H^2(c1){\times}H^1(c2)$ with S = 3 or they satisfy $S{\leq}2$, where S denotes the squared norm of the second fundamental form.
