심폐소생술 재교육이 간호사의 지식과 기술에 미치는 지속효과 (A Study on the Sustainable Effects of Reeducation on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation on Nurses' Knowledge and Skills)

  • Purpose: This study was to analyze the sustainable effects of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) reeducation on nurses' knowledge and skills. Methods: A repeated experimental design was used for a single sample group of 47 nurses working for a general hospital. The nurses were tested on their skill of CPR 3 times at an interval of 4 m1onths. In order to test nurses' knowledge and skills, the researcher used a CPR assessment program linked to an adult practice doll (Anne). Results: 1) The amount of decrease of nurses' knowledge about CPR between points of time was wide between first and second points of time but small between the second and third time owing to the effects of reeducation between the two points of time. 2) Nurses' skills between the first and second time dropped but they improved between the second and third time owing to the effects of reeducation. Conclusion: As confirmed by the above findings, reeducation of CPR clearly affects nurses' knowledge and skills. Given the fact that the same period of time (4 months) elapsed between the 3 tests, it could be argued that the reeducation at the second test served to maintain nurses' knowledge and enhance their skills.

Knowledge Assessment of Teachers of Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder from Applied Behaviour Analysis Perspective

  • This study aims to assess the knowledge of teachers working with students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) regarding applied behaviour analysis (ABA). The study was concerned with teachers' knowledge of ABA, its application in the classroom, barriers to its use and desired training opportunities and/or resources to enhance teacher application of ABA strategies in the classroom. Data were collected via an online survey completed by 190 teachers with students diagnosed with ASD in British schools. The results revealed overall knowledge of ABA strategies for classrooms, with only some teachers uninformed about the broad use and some key elements, and general familiarity with skills crucial for applying ABA. Actual knowledge of ABA was found to be high. In terms of application of ABA, the majority of the teachers employed a wide range of known strategies. A number of barrier to the application of ABA were noted including a lack of knowledge and training, a lack of administrative support and a lack of time and physical resources. Theoretical knowledge is crucial for practical applications; however, practical training was found to be important to ensure intervention efficacy.

  • 본 논문은 많은 기업들이 지식 공유를 위하여 성공적인 지식경영 시스템 도입을 추진하는 과정에서 조직문화 요소와 관계에 대한 연구를 목적으로 한다. 최근논문에서 언급된바와 같이 기업이 지식경영 시스템을 도입하는데 많은 문제점이 발견되고 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 발견된 문제점 중 조직문화 요소에 대한 연구가 미흡하여 성공적인 지식경영 시스템 구현을 위한 장애가 되고 있다. 본 연구는 특정한 조직문화 요소가 지식경영 시스템 구현에 미치는 관계를 살펴보기 위해 OCP와 KMTP tool을 사용하여 26개의 미국 기업을 대상으로 설문조사를 한 결과를 기반으로 성공적인 지식경영 시스템 구현에 관계가 있는 기업 조직문화 요소를 연구 조사하였다.

약물감시 실습 교육이 한의과대학 학부생의 지식, 태도 및 자가 효능감에 미치는 효과 (Effect of A Pharmacovigilance Practice Training Course for Future Doctors of Korean Medicine on Knowledge, Attitudes and Self Efficacy)

  • Objectives: This study was aimed to develop a pharmacovigilance practice training course for future doctors of Korean medicine, the graduate students of a college of Korean medicine, and to verify the educational effect of the curriculum. Methods: Fifty-six students were given a training course designed as follows: 1) pre-class homework (basic theory self-study, online course, causality assessment, and adverse event reporting simulation); 2) in-class: homework submission and case discussion; 3) after-class: homework revision and resubmission. An online survey to assess the change of the level of basic knowledge and attitudes toward pharmacovigilance, the willingness to report adverse events, and self-efficacy for the causality assessment and adverse event reporting was conducted before and after education. Results: The survey participation rate was 96.5% in pre-education and 64.3% in the post-education survey. After education, knowledge level was improved (mean score from 4.3±2.11 to 6.7±1.96 points, modal value from 3 to 8 points) and positive changes were observed in almost all questions on attitudes. In the post-education survey, more students felt that they could do causality assessment (from 13% to 80.5%), could report adverse events to the agency in charge (from 7.4% to 96.2%), and expressed their strong willingness to report adverse events in the future (from 77.8% to 88.9%) than in the pre-education survey. Conclusions: More schools of Korean medicine need to adopt pharmacovigilance training courses in their curriculum to foster future doctors of Korean medicine with pharmacovigilance capabilities. Such efforts will be the basis for achieving an evidence-based, safe use of herbal medicine.

과학기술인력의 기업가역량 강화를 위한 교육요구도 분석 (Analysis of Educational Needs for Strengthening Entrepreneurial Competencies of Science and Technology Personnel)

  • 본 연구는 과학기술 인력의 기업가역량을 수요자 관점에서 평가하면서 현재 어떤 역량이 부족하고 새롭게 보완해야 할지를 교육요구도(Borich's Needs Assessment Model) 조사를 통해 분석하였다. 그 결과 산업계가 기대하는 역량 수준 대비 현재 평가되는 수준이 낮은 것으로 나타났고 특히 팀워킹, 문제해결능력, 의사소통, 추상적사고, 직무관련지식 등의 순서로 기대요구수준이 높았으며, 인내력, 프로젝트 지식, 유연성, 자율성, 리더십, 위험감수, 사업화 능력의 현재 수준이 평가항목 전체의 평균보다 낮게 나타났다. 연구를 통해 과학기술인력의 기업가역량 강화를 위한 교육에서 현재 가장 필요한 부분은 문제해결 능력, 팀워킹, 직무관련 지식, 추상적 사고, 의사소통 강화 등의 순서로 나타났다. 이는 조직 내에서 다양하게 접하는 업무 이슈와 현안을 팀 내 협력과 자신의 직무관련 지식을 활용하여 해결해 나가는데 교육의 우선순위를 두어야 하는 것을 말해주고 있다. 특히 이 과정에서 문제를 해결하는 논리적 사고, 결과를 타인에게 효과적으로 전달하는 부분이 함께 보완되어야 하겠다.

지식관리시스템의 지식정보 요인 및 관리요인이 경영성과에 미치는 영향 - 평가와 보상의 조절효과 (A Study on Influence of Knowledge Information Factors and Management Factors of the KMS on Business Performance - Moderating Effect of Evaluation and Compensation)

  • 본 연구는 중소 제조 및 서비스업체를 대상으로 하여 KMS의 경영성과에 미치는 영향요인을 지식정보요인과 관리 요인으로 설정하여 이들 요인들이 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였고, 평가와 보상을 조절변수로 설정하여 평가와 보상이 지식정보요인 및 관리요인과 경영성과 간에 미치는 조절적 효과를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 지식 적합성, 지식정보의 신뢰성, 지식관리프로세스 지원으로 설정된 지식정보 요인은 경영성과에 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었고, 관리요인 중에서는 학습의 조직화와 협력 요인은 경영성과에 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 평가와 보상이 지식정보요인 및 관리요인과 경영성과 간에 조절적인 역할을 하고 있는지를 검증한 결과에서는 지식정보요인의 지식 적합성, 지식정보의 신뢰성, 지식관리프로세스지원, 관리요인의 지식공유활동, 협력은 경영성과에 조절적인 역할을 하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다.

  • This study deals with the application of knowledge-engineering and a methodology for the assessment & measurement of reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety of industrial systems using fault-tree representation. A fuzzy methodology for fault-tree evaluation seems to be an alternative solution to overcome the drawbacks of the conventional approach(insufficient information concerning the relative frequences of hazard events). To improve the quality of results, the membership functions must be approximated based on heuristic considerations. The purpose of this Is to describe the knowlwdge engineering approach, directed to integrate the various sources of knowledge involved in a FTA.

1990년대 미국의 수학전쟁과 몇 가지 시사 점 (Math War in America in 1990's and Its Implications)

  • We have studied the issues of the current math war in America. Traditionalists and the reformers have been arguing about the curriculums, teaching methods, use of calculators, basic skills, and assessment methods in K-12 mathematics. They both have strengths and weaknesses depending on the situation have contributed for the development of mathematics education. Instead of choosing between traditionalists and the reformist sides, we suggest to adopt an eclectic view point i.e., rigor and creativity, memorization and understanding that may seem at odds with each other are quite compatible and mutually reinforcing. Also teacher's deep knowledge in mathematics is extremely important as his/her knowledge in pedagogy.

A Knowledge-based Fuzzy Multi-criteria Evaluation Model of Construction Robotic Systems

  • In recent years, construction projects have been forced to cope with lack of skilled labor and increasing hazard circumstance of human operations. A construction robotic system has been frequently accomplished as one alterative for overcoming these difficulties in increasing construction quality, enhancing productivity, and improving safety. However, while the complexity of such a system increases, there are few ways to carry out an assessment of the system. This paper introduces a knowledge-based multi-criteria decision-making process to assist decision makers in systematically evaluating an automated system for a given project and quantifying its system performance index. The model employs linguistic terms and fuzzy numbers in attempts to deal with the vagueness inherent in experts' or decision makers' subjective opinions, considering the contribution resulted from their knowledge on a decision problem. As an illustrative case, the system, called Robotic-based Construction Automation, for constructing steel erection of high-rise buildings was applied into this model. The results show the model's capacities and imply the application to other extended types of construction robotic systems.

시설보호 유아를 위한 사회적 유능감 향상 프로그램 개발 및 효과 검증 (Development ana Evaluation of Social Competence Enrichment Program for Institutionalized Children in Early Childhood)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop and evaluate a social competence enrichment program for institutionalized children in early childhood. The program was developed to enhance institutionalized children's social competence. The program consists of sixteen 30-minute sessions. 19 institutionalized children (11 boys and 8 girls) participated in this program. The effect of this program was evaluated by institutionalized preschool children's emotional knowledge and interpersonal problem solving strategy. Assessment of emotional knowledge consists of identification and situation task. Interpersonal problem solving strategy includes forceful, prosocial, and manipulative strategy. Results showed that there was a significant experimental effect for emotional knowledge. Experimental children showed higher scores of emotional knowledge than control children. Also, there was a significant experimental effect for prosocial and forceful strategy. Experimental children showed higher ratio of prosocial strategy and lower ratio of forceful strategy than control children. The results of program evaluation revealed that this program was helpful for promoting institutionalized children's social competence.
