개방적인 정책으로 환영을 받았던 플랫폼 사업자들이 최근 수직계열화의 움직임을 보이고 있다. 플랫폼의 경쟁력 강화를 목적으로 하는 수직계열화가 심화되면 플랫폼의 경쟁력이 되어오던 OS나 네트워크의 품질, 제조 능력 등의 영향력이 약화될 가능성이 있다. 환경이 변하면 소비자는 매력적인 플랫폼에서 매력적인 콘텐츠를 따라 이동하게 될 것이고, 킬러 콘텐츠는 플랫폼의 성패를 좌우하는 핵심 경쟁 요소가 될 것이다. 따라서 플랫폼 사업자들은 소비자 확보를 위해 킬러 콘텐츠 확보에 열을 올리게 될 것이며, 이는 킬러 콘텐츠 소싱의 과열 경쟁으로 이어질 전망이다. 플랫폼 간의 과열 경쟁이 불러일으킬 문제점을 살펴보고, 플랫폼 경쟁의 쟁점이 될 콘텐츠 소싱의 문제와 콘텐츠 사업자의 향후 대응책 등을 제시한다.

최근 모바일 기기의 확산과 초고속 인터넷의 확장에 따라 모바일 게임시장은 사용자들의 많은 관심 대상이 되어 가고 있다. 특히, 모바일 학습을 위한 게임의 경우, 언제 어디서나 이용할 수 있고, 짧은 시간에 흥미와 학습효과를 상승시킬 수 있다는 장점을 가진다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 게임과 학습을 결합한 새로운 모바일 게임 콘텐츠인 V-Killer를 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 V-Killer 게임은 영어 단어 맞추기 게임과 검색기능, 랭킹보기를 동시에 할 수 있는 모바일 게임이다. V-Killer는 레벨 별로 단어가 나뉘어져 있어서 난이도에 맞는 게임을 선택할 수 있고, 검색 기능과 랭킹 시스템을 도입하여 피드백 학습이 가능하다. 또한, 조작법이 쉽고 구성이 간단하여 남녀노소 누구나 쉽게 접할 수 있고, 사용자도 게임에 직접 문제를 출제함으로써 사용자와 게임의 상호작용을 유발시킬 수 있다는 장점을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 제안하는 게임을 모바일 상에서 실제 구현하여 이를 보인다.

유비쿼터스 비즈니스 환경은 기존의 e-비즈니스, m-비즈니스와는 다른 특성을 가지고 있다. 이는 u-비즈니스 모델을 개발할 때 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 기술의 특성과 유비쿼터스 비즈니스 환경을 고려해야 한다는 것을 의미한다. 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 비즈니스 패러다임의 핵심인 가치의 공동 창출 경험에 초점을 맞춘 u-비즈니스 모델 개발 프레임워크를 제시했다. 본 논문의 u-비즈니스 모델 개발 프레임워크는 8단계로 구성되어 있고 각 단계별 세부 절차를 구체적으로 제시했다. 새로운 비즈니스 패러다임 하에서 성공적인 비즈니스 모델을 발굴하고 수행하고자 하는 기업들에게 본 논문에서 제안한 u-비즈니스 모델 개발 프레임워크는 유용한 가이드라인을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

이차세대 휴대 인터넷 와이브로의 보급에 따라 PDA 또는 스마트폰을 기반으로하는 게임 포털 서비스의 경제적 효과와 가능성을 조사하였을 때 휴대기기들은 개인용 컴퓨터에 비하여 보다 제한적인 CPU 연산능력과 메모리 크기 때문에 개인용 컴퓨터와 동등한 수준의 컨텐츠 제공이 어렵다. 본 논문은 와이브로 컨텐츠를 위한 유/무선 통합 서버의 구현에 관한 논문이다. 본 연구에서는 PDA에서 CP 킬러 컨텐츠를 구현하여 테스트 결과를 보여주었다. 제안한 방법은 유/무선 통합 서버에서 많은 기능들을 필요로 하는 와이브로 휴대 인터넷에 적용할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 차세대 무선랜과 휴대인터넷 및 유비퀴터스 이슈를 수용하는 Window XP 기반의 PC서버로 와이브로 휴대인터넷용 Killer 컨텐츠를 개발하였다. Win CE 기반의 포털에서 꼭 필요한 각종 게임과 엔터테인먼트 기능들의 PDA상에서 구현의 결과가 와이브로 상용화 및 컨텐츠 서버시장의 활성화를 기대할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to seek new u-business services in restaurant management. Using the concept of business model methodology in family restaurant management domain, this study identifies customers' needs in services at the stage of management of purchase of materials, the production management, and the sales management. In addition, this study suggests two killer applications of a family restaurant management linking with the latest ubiquitous computing technologies: the service of the customer-oriented menu recommendation and the service of the inventory-oriented menu recommendation. These findings may offer practical insights in the context of ubiquitous service model of restaurant management.

Instructional contents are used to demonstrate a technical process to teach and walkthrough certain procedures to carry out a task. This type of informational content is widely used for teaching and lectures in form of tutorial videos and training videos. Since there are questions and uncertainties for what could be the killer application for the novel wearables, we propose a self-instruction training application on a smart glass to utilize already-available instruction videos as well as public open data in creative ways. We design and implement a prototype application to help users train by wearing smart glasses specifically designed for two concrete and hand-constrained use cases where the user's hands need to be free to operate. To increase the efficiency and feasibility of the self-instruction training, we contribute to the development of a wearable killer application by integrating a voice-based user interface using speech recognizer, public open data APIs, and timestamp-based procedural content navigation structure into our proof-of-concept application.

원형질체 융합을 통하여 killer 효모의 유전형질을 기존의 ethanol 발효효묘에 도입하므로서 야생의 killer 효모에 저항성을 가지고, 오염효모를 치사시킬 수 있으며, ethanol 발효능도 유지하는 새로운 효모균주를 개발하였다. 먼저 융합주의 생리적인 특성을 검토한 바, 융합주는 양천주에 비하여 세 적이 크고, DNA 함량이 높았으며, 증식도는 친주와 유사한 경향이었다. 또 융합주를 최소배지에서 보존하는 것이 안정성을 높이는 방법이었고, 7일 간격으로 7회 계대배양하므로서 유전적으로 안정화시킨 융합주를 6개월 간 계속 사용한 결과 segregant가 전혀 나타나지 않았으므로 매우 안정하였다. 또한 융합주는 핵 및 포자를 형성함을 관찰 할 수 있었고, TTC 정색반응에서 적색 및 pink 색을 띄었으며, 탄소원의 자화성 및 발효능은 천주와 유사하였는데, KCI, NaCl, sodium propionate alc cycloheximide 등에 대한 내성도 양친주의 한쪽을 따랐다. 그리고, 융합주를 20% glucose와 sucrose에서 72시간 및 60시간 배양했을 때, FWKS 260의 경우 각각 9.6v/v% 및 9.8v/v%의 ethanol을 생성하였고, 감수성주와 혼합배양한 결과 FWKS260의 경우 48시간 이후에는 감수성주를 거의 발견할 수 없었으며, 전주 및 융합주의 dsRNA plasmid를 추출하여 전기 2.5kb의 L 및 M dsRNA plasmidsms는 서로 연관성이 있으며, killer toxin 분비 및 저항성을 나타내는 유전자를 지배하는 것은 M dsRNA plasmid임을 확인할 수 있었다. 수 있었다.

Networks, services and industries have been converging with the advent of digital convergence by technology advancements of digitalization, broadband and interactivity in the areas of information-communication and broadcasting technologies. Especially, this convergence of technology and market has been blurring the boundary of telecommunication and broadcasting sectors, and the severe competition seems to be inevitable due to the lack of the differentiation in broadcasting media and contents. In this study, we regard the competition phenomenon in the digital convergence between telecommunication and broadcasting as the platform competition in two-sided markets which have been actively studied since 2000, and analyzed it using modified Hotelling's location model. According to the analysis of platform competition on the effects of the differentiation of platform (t) , killer component $(\mu)$ and component compatibility $(\theta)$ , it is shown that two differentiated platforms are simultaneously used in case of the decrease of substitution effects, and the profit of platform with killer contents is increased, but the profit of platforms with higher compatibility is decreased. The policy implication is that it is especially necessary to modify the policy and regulation on media contents considering the growing competition in media. On the other hand, differentiated and reasonable policy is required to make fair competition and active market environment.

To enhance the antitumor activity of Chinese cabbage kimchi, four kinds of kimchi, which ere differently prepared in kinds and levels of sub-ingredients, were fermented at 15$^{\circ}C$ for 1 day and then at 5$^{\circ}C$ up to pH 4.3. The solid tumor formation, hepatic glutathione S-transferase activity and glutathione contents in the liver, and natural killer (NK) cell activity of spleen were determined from the sarcoma-180 cell injected Balb/c mice that were treated with methanol extracts of the kimchi samples. Kimchi IV, prepared with organically cultivated Chinese cabbage, red pepper powder, garlic, Chinese pepper powder mustard leaf and heat processed salt (Gueun salt), reduced the tumor formation by 39.3% compared to the sarcoma-180 cell treated group, resulting in the smallest tumor weight. Methanol extracts of the kimchi III and kimchi IV recovered the activities of hepatic glutathione S-transferase(GST) that was decreased by the transplantation of the sarcoma-180 cells to th mice. The injections of methanol extracts of kimchi II and kimchi IV increased glutathione contents in sarcoma-180 cells treated mice. The methanol extract of kimchi IV increased the natural killer (NK) cell activity of spleen lymphocytes a more effectively (p<0.05) than those the other kimchi samples. These results suggest that the anticancer activities of kimchi can be increased by changing the kinds and levels of sub-ingredients.

이동통신망 진화와 함께 다기능 단말기를 기반으로 한 무선인터넷 서비스가 활성화되고 있다. 무선인터넷 서비스는 브라우저 기반의 정보서비스와 다운로드 플랫폼을 사용하는 이동멀티미디어 서비스가 제공되고 있다. 다기능 단말기보급이 확산됨에 따라 이를 기반으로 한 신규서비스 개발이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문은 무선인터넷 서비스에서 핵심서비스로 발전할 위치기반 서비스를 위한 모발일 맵 브라우저로, 개발된 맵 브라우저는 국내 무선인터넷 플랫폼인 WIPI를 사용하여 GIS 서버와 연동하여 지도정보를 제공한다. 또한 개발된 시스템은 위치정보 서비스 이외에 텔레메틱스를 위한 GIS 플랫폼으로 사용되고, 향후 WIPI 플랫폼 확산과 더불어 PDA, 텔레메틱스 단말기 등에서도 서비스가 가능할 것이다.
