General self-efficacy scale of Sherer. control scale was measured by subconcept of hardiness scale of Pollock. and perceived barrier. perceived benefit. activity-related-affect tool were made by researcher via literature review The data were analyzed by SAS program using frequency. t-test. ANOVA. Schefee test. regression. The results were as follows 1. The mean of total health promoting behavior was $2.27\pm.35$. Among sub domain of health promoting behavior, the highest score was interpersonal support$(2.72\pm.60)$. and the lowest was health responsibility $(1.58\pm.44)$. 2. There were statistically significant difference in total health promoting behavior according to religion. parenting style. school performance. girl friend. father's smoking of individual characteristics. 3. The socioeconomic status. smoking, parent pattern. family structure of individual characteristics and experience domain associated with perceived benefit. perceived barrier. activity-related affect. interpersonal influence of behavior-specific cognition and affect domain. The perceived barrier. self-efficacy. girl friend and father's smoking of interpersonal influence. and control explained $25.8\%$ of variance of health promoting behavior. From above results school health nurse has to emphasize on health responsibility for health promotion of adolescent. But they couldn't intervene for parent pattern. socioeconomic status. family structure of individual characteristics and experience domain. it could be possible for school health nurse to promote health of adolescents through improving perceived barrier. also develop program to increase self-efficacy and through parent health class for fathers. Above results point to the importance of including parents in smoking prevention effort targeting adolescents. Because increasing control also promotes health of adolescents. it should be studied further about the specific measure. To verify the variables for increasing the fitness of health promoting model. it needs further replication of the research.

This study examined the influence of social support (social support from family, social support from friends), psychological behavioral characteristics (self-esteem, interpersonal dependency, locus of control), and stress on the depression levels of college students. The study subjects were 546 college students in D city. The survey was conducted using a self-administered questionnaire in October 2015. As a result, the depression levels were significantly higher in the group showing lower family and friends' social support, self-esteem, and locus of control, while it was significantly higher in the group showing higher interpersonal dependency and stress. The depression levels of the subjects showed a negative correlation with family and friends' social support, self-esteem, and locus of control, but a positive correlation with interpersonal dependency and stress. Covariance structure analysis revealed an increase in the depression levels of college students when the awareness of the stress source was higher, and when the awareness of social support or psychological behavioral characteristics was lower. These results suggest that the depression levels of college students would be increased when the social support and psychological behavioral characteristics are low, and when stress is high. In particular, it was influenced much more by stress than other factors. Therefore, to decrease the depression levels of college students, it would be necessary to put efforts to understand their main stress sources and then reduce them.

The purpose of the present study was to examine whether Interpersonal Cognitive Problem Solving(ICPS) skill training would enhance interpersonal solving skills and behavioral adjustment of mildly mentally retarded adolescents in the junior and high school. The program used in the present study was shortened and adapted for mildly retarded adolescents from Shure and Spivack(1982) program which was developed to improve the adjustment of children in the intermediate grades 5-6. The subjects were 22 mildly retarded adolescents, and they were assigned to either the experimental(11) or the control group(11). The experimental group were given ICPS training 4 times a week over a period of 8 weeks with a total of 32 sessions in all. The results showed a significant improvement of alternative thinking and consequential thinking in the experimental group compared with the control group. With regard to behavioral ratings by the parents and teachers, there were no significant differences between the groups. The results indicated that the training was effective in increasing the ability to generate alternative solutions and to predict consequences, but the significant improvement of interpersonal cognitive problem solving skills did not lead to noticeable improvement in behavioral adjustment. It was suggested that a longer training period for over-learning, concomitant parent education program, and more behaviorally oriented social skill training combined with the cognitive approach would yield significant training effects, maintenance and transfer.

This study is designed as a non-equivalent controlled before-and-after quasi-experimental study by having a control group for the effect of the interpersonal caring music activity program in children of single-parent families. Data collection was carried out in 22 children of single-parent families as the study group and in 23 children as the control group recruited from 22 community centers for children located in N city from July to September, 2014. As the study tool, the Heart Rate Variability (HRV) was used to measure loneliness, self-esteem scale and the stress response. With the collected data and using SPSS 18.0 for Window program, the Homogeneity test between the study group and the control group was conducted by using t-test and ${\chi}^2$-test while the study hypotheses were verified by analyzing with the independent t-test. The results of the study are as follows. Loneliness and self-esteem of the subjects did not show significant difference in the study groups. The sympathetic nervous system activity (normalized LF) has been lowered and the parasympathetic nervous system activity (normalized HF) has been increased as the stress response, while the sympathetic and the parasympathetic nervous system activity ratio (LF/ HF) score was lowered with significant difference, which had supported the hypotheses. Based on these results of this study, the interpersonal caring music activity program can be utilized as a stress management program for the children of single-parent families during a short period of time.
The purpose of this study was to identify factors affecting college-based stress and develop stress-relieving educational programs. Data were collected from 169 students in G-province, from June 15th to july 15th, 2020. Analysis was done using IBM SPSS 21.0 for frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and Multiple regression. College-based stress positively correlated with life event, life event importance, interpersonal emotion, and self-control. The most important factor affecting college-based stress was psychological hardiness (β=-.323, p<.001), followed by club activities (β=.237, p<.001), interpersonal conflict (β=.215, p=.001), grade-2 (β=-.203, p=.001), department adaptation (β=.161, p=.010), and age-21 (β=-.149, p=.024). The explanatory power was 44.4% (F=42.43, p<.001). The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data for the development of educational programs for stress reduction at the university level. Therefore, educational programs considering age and grade, using club activities as support systems, and dealing with psychological hardiness and department adaptation are needed.

Purpose: There are a number of issues that can prevent students from obtaining a college degree. Our aim is to support academic probation students to improve their grades through a peer mentoring program. Method: 29 students as peer mentors were enrolled to provide support for 35 academic probation students and 51 as control. All students participated in the 4 month-long program including mentoring twice a week and out of campus activities. To identify factors affecting the change in the participants' GPA, a self-efficacy scale and an interpersonal support evaluation list were given to them before, as well as after the program. Using the SPSS/PC program, Chi-square test, paired t-test, ANOVA and lineal regression were applied. Results: All subjects significantly improved their self-efficacy and interpersonal support evaluation after the program (P<.001). The largest change in GPA after the program was shown in academic probation group (P<.001). Group, general self-efficacy, tangible help, belonging all were put into a regression model explaining the change in their GPA after the program (modified R squre is 69.5%, P<.05). Conclusion: A mentoring program, which aims to enhance self-efficacy and interpersonal support, can provide positive influences for a college student who needs a little extra attention from a peer.
