The underground space of urban entertainment center can do various roles for urban development. Especially, the design of underground space using natural elements is necessary to sustainable development of facilities. The purpose of this study is to propose the elements, characteristics and application around interior environmental design using natural elements in underground space of urban entertainment center. The research methods of this study are research references, survey and field-study. This study can be concluded as follows; First, the factors of interior environmental design using natural elements in underground space of urban entertainment center are 'landmarks expression of natural elements', 'introduction and planning of daylighting', 'planning of materials using natural images', 'planning of ecological footpath' and 'planning of energy recycling'. Second, pedestrian space and openspace considering regional context are necessary. Third, introduction of daylight and design of artificial lighting in underground space are needed to making eco-friendly environment. Fourth, landmark design using various natural elements in underground space is needed to provide eco-friendly amenity. Fifth, the interior environmental design using natural elements is needed to community space in underground space. Sixth, eco-friendly pedestrian space in underground space is necessary. Seventh, interior environmental design using natural elements is needed to the entrance of underground space of urban entertainment center.

A sustainable building must produce an interior environment that is safe, healthy, comfortable and supportive of human performance and well-being. The medical human comfort: performance and productivity cost of unhealthy environment may cause much cost for healing. Research that buildings with daylight, fresh air, eco-materials and sustainable interior design are consistently rated as more comfortable and occupants performance, satisfaction and health. This study is to categorize systematically interior environmental design elements for improving sustainability with a view to developing an evaluation model of super high-rise apartment unit plans. With a literature survey and design guide lines concerning sustainable design elements, three hierarchical categorization levels of human, environment, energy and resources systems that consists of upper, middle, low design elements have been proposed. A total of 6 items have been suggested for middle level of categorization and 24 items for lower level. Finally a total of 107 design elements concerning the 24 items and their relationahips have been revealed. The needs for a systematic approach to interior environmental design for sustainability have been discussed.

In modern society, sense of crisis from environmental destruction caused by rapid industrial development, economic growth and improvement of educational level and medicine made environmental preservation and comfortable residential environment a necessary and sufficient condition. Since government conducted 'green building rating system' from 2002, application of pro-environmental elements has been extended. But the concept of substantial pro-environmental housing remains the stage of complex planning yet and application of system to interior space which has the most direct influence on actual dwellers is very poor.

Sustainable interior design elements are related with human health. We know that a demand for environmental-friendly housing and all about the others demanding are for human health. We have to make up basement of natural environment for sustainable space composition. If natural environment is polluted that surrounded by human, we have to effort to revive without any pollution. We have to get accomplished stability, comfortable, security, convenience and organize interior design elements for sustainable space to enhance for the quality of life. Furthermore, it needs to get a respect lifestyle on personal. To study composing of the sustainable interior design, we arranged interior design elements to compose sustainable space of housing. We investigated how to compose energy-efficiency, sustainable, interior tree-planting, alterable of the space.

This study examines the role of visual merchandising (VMD) in creating effective interior displays for fashion "select shops"(shops that carry a wide selection of brands) amid the recent changes in consumption trends, with consumer needs becoming increasingly individualized and diversified. Fashion select shop interior displays can be categorized as self-service, showcase, counter, and environmental display spaces. Regarding the VMD elements that contribute to effective interior displays, we reached the following conclusions. First, in self-service displays, in order to heighten sales efficacy, display elements should be presented in such a way as to enable customers to select products with ease by themselves. Second, the mere presence of showcase displays was found to be insufficient; if, however, select shops use showcase displays to arrange products according to the flow of customer traffic, enabling the creation of a gentrified atmosphere for products, this may contribute to a differentiated image of brands, heightening perceived product value. Third, in counter displays, having a harmonious arrangement of display and presentation elements promotes sales by inspiring customer confidence. Fourth, regarding environmental displays, it is important for stores to have attractive interior designs and decorations in order to reproduce settings in which products are actually used, as this can inspire interest in products and promote customers' purchasing intention.

The relationship between users and physical elements of environmental gives a space special characteristics. The Environment Probabilitism by Altman shows that behavior and environment, both response, effect each other construct their characteristics. People can choose their response consciously or unconsciously during their walking , sitting, standing, talking in their environment. Designing a good place can lead people to the goal that they want and designer intend to get, A good place well designed as an positive place is organised with 3 points(1) User's behavior (2) physical elements in environment (3) meanings produced between behavior and physical elements. In this study the importance of physical elements are focused on. In the place where we can have permeability, variety , legibility, robutness, visual appropriateness, richness, personalisation physically , these characteristics will encourage people to have strong motivation and to choose the most active way . From this perspective the circulation of physically handicapped persons is analyzed into their behavioral environment and their behavioral response. The analysis shows the handicapped in our situation has no environmental right for a man itself ,even they have no street to walk safely. And their response to the environment was very negative. Basically the elements from exterior space to interior space should be guaranteed for everyday according to their behavioral characteristics include handicapped. From this study the result shows that the needs of a person should be considered and accepted as an important design problem for improvement our environment.

As the environmental pollution is intensified, the interest in the conservation and quality of global environment is also increasing. Interior design affects on environmental conservation as well as the quality of outdoor and indoor environment through all phases of interior design. Therefore, interior designers should do environment-friendly design. The purpose of this study was to examine the consciousness and application degree of environment-friendly interior design in actual project by interior designers. The study was conducted by a questionnaire survey. The subjects were 215 interior designers working in Seoul area. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1) The 33 representative elements of environment-friendly interior design were selected and categorized into 5 fields: resources and materials, energy savings, ecological environments, indoor environments, and space effectiveness. These would be useful to carry out environment-friendly interior design projects and related researches. 2) Many interior designers didn't understand what the environment-friendly interior design is correctly, even though they were interested in it. Therefore, the educational program of environment-friendly interior design should be developed. 3) Even though interior designers thought most elements of environment-friendly interior design very important, they didn't apply them well to actual projects. This implies that alternatives for activating them are needed.

Many schedule delays and cost overruns in interior construction are caused by a lack of understanding in detailed and complicated interior works. To minimize these potential impacts in interior construction, a systematic approach for project managers to detect discrepancies at early stages and take corrective action through use of visualized data is required. This systematic implementation is still challenging: monitoring is time-consuming due to the significant amount of as-built data that needs to be collected and evaluated; and current interior construction progress reports have visual limitations in providing spatial context and in representing the complexities of interior components. To overcome these issues, this research focuses on visualization and computer vision techniques representing interior construction progress with photographs. The as-planned 3D models and as-built photographs are visualized in a 3D walk-through model. Within such an environment, the as-built interior construction elements are detected through computer vision techniques to automatically extract the progress data linked with Building Information Modeling (BIM). This allows a comparison between the as-planned model and as-built elements to be used for the representation of interior construction progress by superimposing over a 3D environment. This paper presents the process of representing and detecting interior construction components and the results for an ongoing construction project. This paper discusses implementation and future potential enhancement of these techniques in construction.

As living condition has improved, agreeable living environmental plans that reflect residential traits are needed from. the first stage of house remodeling or interior construction. At the request of above, we need systematically study about the householder's preference according to the life style. The purpose of this study is to suggest the case of preferred interior by understanding preferred Interior image and interior design elements. Document and questionnaire research are used as the method of study. The subjects of research wear 702 persons from 20th to 40th. Contents are constituted with general traits, life style and preferred interior image and the analysis of the materials is quantifical analysis using statistics. In the base of the theory of interior image and interior design elements appeared In the documents, measuring apparatus is made up and suggested preferred examples of interior design depend on life style by combining preferences.
