The main purpose of this study is the comprehensive review of the compensation system that affects the employee's job satisfaction and turnover intention. This study is mainly designed to review previous studies of the impact of compensation system, and suggest meaningful implications in relation to firm's performance. It is clarified that compensation is positively related to firm's performance, and the perceived equity mediates the relationship between compensation and performance. It is suggested that an empirical research should be done based on the formulated propositions of this research.
The purpose of this study was to validate the effect that the job stress of the newly appointed dental hygienists would have on the organization effectiveness. In this study, 214 newly appointed dental hygienists in Daegu, Gyeongbuk, were surveyed from September to October, 2013 through the structured questionnaires, and the collected data were electro-statistically computerized under SPSS 17.0 program and analyzed based on the frequency analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results of analysis showed that the dental hygienists with less than 3-year experience had the lower role conflict compared to other groups in relation to the job stress factors based on the clinical experience, and there was a significant difference. A negative(-) relation was found among the job stress, organization commitment, and job satisfaction, while a positive(+) relationship with the turnover intention was found. Moreover, it turned out that the job stress of newly appointed dental hygienists had a significant effect on the organization effectiveness. Thus, it is considered necessary to explore the specific measures that can help reduce the turnover rate of newly appointed dental hygienists and improve their adaptation to the organization in a more effective manner.

This study was carried out to grasp the job stress and intention to change their jobs of nurses at general hospitals by their socio-demographic, job-related and health-related behavior characteristics and especially to investigate their relationship to the job stress and intention to change their jobs. The subjects were 355 nurses working at three university hospitals located in Daejeon City, and data were collected by a survey using self-administered questionnaires structured from April 1 to May 31, 2012. As a results, the average point of the nurses' intention to change jobs by the causes for job stress was significantly higher in the boss group with low support than in that with high support while it was higher in colleague group with low support than in that with high support. To look into the correlation between the points of intention to change their jobs and the causes for job stress, their intention to change their jobs showed a significant negative correlation to the boss's support and colleagues' support while there was no significant relationship with job demands and job autonomy. As a result of hierarchical multiple regression, age, drinking coffee, department, job satisfaction, the boss's support and colleagues' support were selected as significant related variables affecting the nurses' intention to change their jobs and these variables' descriptive power was 29.4%. Viewed from the above results, it is suggested that the nurses' job stress and intention to change their jobs has a significant relationship with various variables such as socio-demographic, health-related behavior and job-related characteristics. In addition, there were a significant positive correlation between the causes for the job stress cause and intention to change their jobs, and among the causes for the job stress, support by their boss or colleagues turned out to be those affecting their intention to change their jobs. Thus, it is considered that it is necessary to minimize the nurses' job stress and at the same time to seek for specific measures for preventing their turnover.

This study aims to provide the basic data helpful for the improvement of rights and interests of radiological technologists, by understanding the current working environment and if they get the proper reward through the analysis on the perception of appropriateness of current wage and job satisfaction of radiological technologists. Survey was conducted to evaluate the perception of satisfaction with job and wage system, work intensity, necessity of the radiological technologist limit system, and turnover in accordance. The appropriate starting salary was low in case of women and non-capital area, and when the age, academic background, career, and hospital size were lower. The appropriate wage was low in case of women and non-capital area, and when the academic background and hospital size were lower. The negative perception of the necessity to change the wage system was shown in university hospitals. Regarding the work intensity, in case of women and low career, and when the age, academic background, and hospital size were higher, the work intensity was perceived as high. When the academic degree and hospital size were lower, the positive perception of the radiological technologist limit was shown. The turnover intention was high in case of women, and when the age, academic background, career, and hospital size were lower. In order to increase the job satisfaction of radiological technologists, it would be necessary to the appropriate reward and the environment where they could concentrate on work.
On this study, we've analyzed Emotional labor's effect on turnover intention with mediation of flourishing and moderate of social support, targeting the 323 employees working in a downtown duty free store by using SPSS 22.0 and SPSS PROCESS MACRO(V. 2.16.3) to verify used study structure. From this study, a few main things can be summarized as follow. First, there is a positively relative relationship between emotional labor and turn over intention also negatively relative relationship between flourishing and social support after study. Secondly, It is founded out there is a mediation effect of flourishing between emotional labor and turn over intention. Thirdly, Flourishing works as mediator and social support is works as a moderator fact on flourishing. Fourthly, social support effect works better when emotional labor lever is higher. Based on this result, we provide some implications, advices and limitations for alleviating turn over coming from emotion labor level of duty free working clerks.
Purpose: This study was a secondary analysis to verify the mediating role of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) between organizational justice (OJ) and organizational effectiveness (OE) in nursing organizations. Methods: The RN-BSNs and their colleagues in Seoul and Busan were subjects. The data was collected for 20 days between September 13 and October 2, 2004. Two hundred eighty three data sets were used for the final analysis. The fitness of models were tested using AMOS 5. Results: The fitness of hypothetical model was moderate. Procedural Justice (PJ), Interaction Justice (IJ) and Distributive Justice (DJ) had direct effects on Job Satisfaction (JS), Organizational Commitment (OC) and Turnover Intention (TI) in OE, and indirect effects on JS, OC and TI mediated by OCB. The modified model improved with ideal fitness showed the causal relations among OE. In modified model, PJ, IJ and DJ had direct positive effects on OCB and JS and OC in OE, and indirect effects on JS and OC mediated by OCB. JS and OC in OE had a direct negative effect on TI. Conclusion: OCB mediated the relationship between OJ and OE, so the nursing managers should enhance OCB of the nurses in order to improve OE.
The purpose of this research is to examine how emotional intelligence has a moderating effect on the relationship between emotional dissonance and job burnout and to investigate a mediating relationship between emotional dissonance and turnover intention through job burnout. To test the hypotheses, moderation analysis, mediation analysis and moderated mediation analysis were performed. Of the 300 self-report questionnaires distributed to hotel employees, 233 usable responses were received and utilized in the final analyses. The results show that emotional dissonance significantly affected job burnout, and job burnout completely mediated the effect of emotional dissonance on turnover intention. Additionally, emotional intelligence moderated the relationship between emotional dissonance and job burnout, suggesting that the emotional dissonance-job burnout relationship was stronger in the low emotional intelligence group than in the high emotional intelligence group. Particularly, emotional intelligence moderated the mediating relationship between emotional dissonance and life style intention via job burnout(moderated mediation effect), indicating that the mediation effect was stronger in the low emotional intelligence group. Therefore, hotel managers should efficiently implement strategies and programs to reduce emotional dissonance and job burnout and enhance emotional intelligence, which lead to lower turnover intention.

The main purpose of this study is to examine the factors that influence the employee's intention to leave the current job. A descriptive survey design was conducted and primary data were collected by using questionnaire. The study was based on random sampling; a sample of 200 was drawn from the employees who work in different micro finance institutions in Nepal. For the data analysis percentage analysis and chi square-test were used. The study revealed that salary, working condition, career growth, supervisor behavior and outstation influence the job quitting process. The study also defined the association between the reasons for leaving job such as salary, working condition, career growth supervisor behaviour & outstation and satisfaction, time spent in the organisation, training & development facility, frequency of changing job & encourage from immediate boss. This study establishes the importance of intentions of employees to quit job and provides further evidence in revealing the intentions to quit among the employees.
This study aims to discuss how job stress of private security guards would influence organizational commitment and turnover intention, and it basically looks into mediating effects of job burnout to understand the former's effects on the latter. In order to conduct the analysis, the study selected private security guards working for security agencies located in Seoul as a research subject, and carried out a survey targeting 700 of those security guards who had been gathered by a random cluster sampling method. The survey was conducted for about four months from May of 2014 to September of the same year and with 24 samples that had not been returned or that had been observed to have some outliers excluded, a total of 676 samples were applied as final data. The study used SPSSWIN 18.0 Statistical Package for analyzing the data, and hypotheses were confirmed via a Frequency Analysis, Factor analysis, Cronbach's Alpha, Person's Correlation Analysis, regression analysis and a path analysis. Findings of the analysis reported that emotional exhaustion has partially mediating effects on relations among role conflict, role overload and organizational commitment and that role ambiguity is not significantly connected. In addition, as for a relation of role conflict and turnover intention, emotional exhaustion was turned out to have a full mediating effect on the relation. The study did not notice any significant connection between emotional exhaustion and role ambiguity. Add to that, in terms of a relation between role overload and turnover intention, emotional exhaustion appeared to have a partial mediating effect on the relation which helped a relevant hypothesis to be partly adopted. Regarding a relation of job stress with organizational commitment, according to results of a path analysis on dehumanization, dehumanization does not significantly affect a relation between role ambiguity and organizational commitment and as for role conflict and role overload, the study confirmed that they have a partially mediating effect on this relation of dehumanization with organizational commitment. The study learned then that dehumanization does not have a significant influence on a relation between role ambiguity and turnover intention. However, the study figured out that when it comes to a relation of role conflict and role overload, dehumanization has a partially mediating effect on the relation and as a consequence, a relevant hypothesis was adopted in part.

Background: Effective near-miss management is important in preventing workplace accidents. A company's inadequate response to near-miss reports can lead workers to feel insecure and dissatisfied with the company. We investigated the relationship between companies' responses to near-miss reports and turnover intentions of workers. Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional study using online self-administered questionnaire survey to workers aged ≥20 years in Japan in March 2022. The analysis included 5,071 participants who had nearmiss experiences and reported them to their companies. The independent variable was companies' responses to near-miss reports, classified into three categories: adequate response group, inadequate response group, and no response group. The dependent variable was turnover intentions. We calculated the odds ratio and 95% confidential interval (CI) using multilevel logistic regression analyses nested for industries and adjusted for covariates. Results: Of the 5,071 participants, 3,058 (60.3%) were adequate response group, 1,484 (29.3%) were inadequate response group, and 529 (10.4%) were no response group. In multivariable adjusted model, compared with adequate response group, the odds ratio of inadequate response group and no response group were 1.80 (95% CI: 1.56-2.08) and 2.63 (95% CI: 2.15-3.22), respectively. Conclusion: Our results suggested that there was a relationship between companies' responses to the near-miss reports and turnover intentions of workers. It is important not only to collect near-misses but also to respond appropriately to the reports and provide feedback to workers.
