The Effect of Perceptions of Organizational Politics on Turnover Intention and Organizational Citizenship Behavior in Chinese Convergency Companies (중국 융합기업에서의 조직정치지각이 이직의도와 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • With the business environment rapidly changing, organizational politics becomes a general and inevitable phenomenon in organizations. Employees' perception of organizational politics (POP) both has positive functions and negative functions, but many study results found it has a negative effects on employees' attitudes and behaviors. Despite the awareness of the importance in managing the negative effects of organizational politics at the workplace is increasing, research relating to employees' POP hasn't received much attention in China. With empirical analysis, the main findings come as follow: Firstly, POP has a significant positive(+) effect on turnover intention and a significant negative(-) effect on OCB. Secondly, Through the mediation of job stress, POP is indirectly and positively(+) associated with turnover intention and negatively(-) associated with OCB. Lastly, Procedural justice has a moderating effects between POP and job stress.

  • This Study Examined the Effects of Disgruntled Customers' Behaviors on the Emotional Dissonance of Service Workers, the Effects of Emotional Dissonance on Emotional Exhaustion, and the Effects of Emotional Dissonance on Turnover Intention and Customer Orientation. In Addition, this Study Examined the Moderating Effects of Emotional Labor Strategies(both surface acting and deep acting), in the Relationship Between Customers' Disgruntled Behaviors and Emotional Dissonance. A Survey was Conducted on Hospital Workers and Drew the Following Results. First, Disgruntled Behavior had a Positively Significant Effect on Emotional Dissonance. Second, Emotional Dissonance had a Positively Significant Effect on Emotional Exhaustion. Third, Emotional Exhaustion had a Positively Significant Effect on Turnover Intention but Negatively Significant Effect on Customer Orientation. Finally, According to a Hierarchical Regression Analysis, Disgruntled Behavior and a Moderating Variable, Surface Acting had a Significant Interaction Effect on Dependent Variable, Emotional Dissonance, but Disgruntled Behavior and a Moderating Variable, Deep Acting did not.

Effect of Learning Organization on Organizational Commitment and Turnover Intention in Social Welfare Organization: Focused on Senge Model (사회복지기관의 학습조직이 조직몰입 및 이직의사에 미치는 효과 : Senge모형을 중심으로)

  • The main objective of this study was to investigate the effect of learning organization on social worker's organizational commitment and turnover intention in the social welfare organization. For the research, learning organization was consisted of shared vision, personal mastery, team learning and system thinking on the P. Senge's learning organization model. The results of this study were summarized as follows: Mean analyses showed that social workers perceived the level of learning organization had a higher than medium. By using a hierarchical multiple regression, shared vision, personal mastery and team learning had a positive effect on the social workers' organizational commitment. Shared vision and team learning had a negative effect on the social workers' turnover intention. This study finally discusses theoretical implications for future study and practical implications for learning organization strategies on the results.

  • The purpose of this research is to verify that how Emotional Labor of surface acting and deep acting influences on work engagement and job burnout, effect on turnover intention, and customer orientation. It studies the effect of reward on manager at support centers for startup. The results of the study are that the surface acting do not influence on work engagement and job burnout and the deep acting has positive influence on work engagement and negative influence on job burnout. The work engagement has negative effect on turnover intention and affirmative effect on customer orientation. The reward can control work engagement and customer orientation of practicians at support centers for startup. This study decribes academic and practical meanings based on these results.

Examining the Antecedents and Consequences of Public Officials' Satisfaction with the Flexible Work System (공직사회 유연근무제 활용 만족도의 선행요인과 결과요인에 관한 연구: 조직문화와 조직효과성 관련 요인 및 삶의 질을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the antecedent and consequential factors of satisfaction with the flexible working system. Organizational culture was examined as an antecedent factor, while job satisfaction, work performance, organizational commitment, turnover intention, and quality of life were examined as outcome factors. The data of 2,785 public officials who used the flexible work system in the Korea Institute of Public Administration (2022) data set were analyzed using SPSS 28.0. and PROCESS macro's Model 4. The main research findings are as follows. First, organizational cultures that respect individuality and cooperation, supports management, and aims for work autonomy all positively and significantly affect satisfaction with the flexible working system. When ranking the size of influence by the type of organizational culture, work autonomy, respect for individuality, and a cooperative organizational culture had a positive impact in that order, with work autonomy being the most influential factor. In addition, the public officials' age, job preparation period, self-evaluation of workload, and overtime working hours are significant antecedents of satisfaction with the flexible work system. Second, when examining consequential factors, a high level of satisfaction with the flexible working system affects job satisfaction (+), work performance (+), organizational commitment (+), turnover intention (-), and quality of life (+). Job satisfaction was an especially valid mediator between satisfaction with the flexible working system and other consequential factors, including work performance, organizational commitment, turnover intention, and quality of life.

  • This study analyzed the relationship between job demands and turnover intention among care workers in long-term care facilities for the elderly, and examined the mediating effects of musculoskeletal pain and burnout in this relationship. A mobile survey was conducted with care workers, and data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 for descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis, as well as AMOS 26.0 for structural equation modeling. The results indicated that high job demands increase turnover intention, with musculoskeletal pain and burnout serving as significant mediators. This study provides insights into improving the work environment of care workers, ultimately contributing to the enhancement of service quality in long-term care facilities

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the components and to verify the relationship among service orientation effort, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention in logistics firms. A literature survey is presented; then, an empirical analysis is carried out using data from questionnaires to employees in logistics firms. The final results indicate that Service orientation effort of logistics firms is positively related to job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Moreover, service orientation effort, job satisfaction and organizational commitment are negatively related to turnover intention. Following these results, it is necessary to concentrate on enhancing the service orientation effort to increase job satisfaction and organizational commitment and decrease turnover intention.

  • The study participants are nurses who work at three general hospitals in M City, who used structured questionnaires to list 214 people from July 17 to August 7, 2017. Analysis of the collected data was carried out using SPSS WIN 21.0. and M plus 7.00 to analyze latent classes depending on the type of nursing managers' leadership. This study showed that the type of nursing managers' leadership has in analyzing latent classes influences nurses' job performance and turnover intention. Because there is a strong influence on the job performance and the turnover intention so that nurses can be highly aware of transformation-transaction-emotion leadership, the managers of the nursing organization need to foster effective leadership. Training programs are needed to improve nurses' job performance through transformational, transactional, and emotional leadership, and to foster nursing manager's leadership skills to better reflect the turnover intention.

  • This study empirically analyzed the effects of Emotional Intelligence and work-family conflict on organizational effectiveness such as job performance and turnover in the advertising industry. Analysis results showed that emotional intelligence a significant impact in part on job performance and turnover intention. In particular, the more use of emotion is higher job performance, and the more regulation of emotion is lower turnover intention. Second, work-family conflict is proved on a partially significant impact on organizational effectiveness, and especially family conflicts caused by works was found to increase the degree of turnover. The results of this study suggest that the need for the establishment of appropriate systems and organizational culture which can increase emotional intelligence and reduce family conflict for performance and human resource management of the organization.

Effects of Workplace Bullying, Nursing Work Environment, and Reality Shock on Turnover Intention of Clinical Nurses (임상 간호사의 괴롭힘, 간호근무환경, 현실 충격이 이직 의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between bullying, nursing work environment, reality shock and factors of influence on turnover intension. Data were collected from 381 nurses who were under the charge nurse at a hospital with more than 600 beds in Seoul. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS24.0 program. The mean score for turnover intension was 3.61 ± 0.89. The intension of turnover was correlated with bullying in the workplace (r=0.197, ⍴=.001), the nursing work environment (r=-.409, p=.001), and reality shock (r=.572, p=.001). Variables affecting turnover intension were the work department(β=-0.018, ⍴=.049), working environment(β=-0.424, ⍴<.000), and reality shock(β=0.654, ⍴<.000). The total amount of explanation for turnover intension was 37.3%. The degree of turnover intension of nurses was affected by work in general wards, the experience of workplace bullying and the nursing work environment. To reduce turnover intension, nursing work needs to be analyzed and efforts are needed to establish an effective communication system.
