일반공산비 기법을 이용한 INS/GPS 통합시스템의 고장 검출 및 격리 (Fault Detection and Isolation of Integrated Inertial/Satellite Navigation Systems Using the Generalized Likelihood Ratio Test)

  • This paper presents a fault detection and isolation(FDI) method based on Ceneralized Likelihood Ratio(GLR) test for the tightly coupled INS/GPS. State and measurement GLR tests detect INS or GPS fault. Once the fault is detected, Multi-hypothesized GLR scheme performs the fault isolation between INS and GPS and find which satellite malfunctions. Simulation results show that the GLR method is effective enough to detect and isolate a fault of the integrated navigation system.

  • In the present work, results of simulation studies carried out for the water carbonation process are presented and compared with experimental data obtained for the same system. Furthermore, the use of membrane contactors in integrated membrane operations is proposed and discussed as a mean to enhance the performance of processes.

  • Called VISTA (Variable-stability In-flight Simulator Test Aircraft), the one-of-a-kind NF-l6D has a simulation system that can mimic several aircraft. Though housed in an F-l6 Fighting Falcon airframe, VISTA can also act like the F-15 Eagle or the Navy's F-14 Tomcat. More importantly, such flexibility allows for improved training and consolidation of some sorties. Consequently USAF Test Pilot School students will have an opportunity to learn how to test future integrated cockpits. In this paper we will use the multiple model adaptive estimation (MMAE) and the multiple model adaptive controller (MMAC) techniques to model the aircraft's flight control system containing the longitudinal and lateral-directional axes. Single and dual actuator and sensor failures will also be included in the simulation. White Gaussian noise will be included to simulate the effects of atmospheric disturbances.

  • Due to advances in information technology, even Engineering Simulations can now be performed in web-based JAVA through an integrated operating system called Virtual Machine and the use of byte code, which guarantees the compatibility of identical codes in every computing system and makes it suitable for web-based simulation system development. This paper introduces an implementation embodied in JAVA Applet that allows a block-diagram type GUI that runs in a web browser for use in the dynamics simulation modeling of powertrains of vehicles and multi-body systems. This system is not restrained by any of the H/W and S/W in the user's computer, so that it has the advantage of providing a GUI that allows web-based block-diagram type modeling.

원격조종 비행체의 이상허용 제어 (Fault tolerant control for remotely piloted vehicle)

  • This paper deals with a fault-tolerant control method for robust control of RPV(Remotely Piloted Vehicle). To design the flight control system, the 6-DOF simulation program has been developed based on the dynamic model of RPV. A robust fault detection and diagnosis method proposed by Kwon et al. [8]-[10] is adopted to detect the actuator fault of RPV and to make the controller reconfiguration. The Hoo control method is applied to the flight control system. An integrated simulation for performance evaluation of the fault-tolerat\nt control system designed is performed via 6 DOF simulation and shows that the control system works even under the actuator fault.

  • This paper presented a web-based virtual system to simulate forging operation. The system utilized simulation techniques of Finite Element Method (FEM) to analyze the forging process and Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML) to visualize the simulation results in the web. The analysis using FEM could show mechanical information such as stresses and deformation profiles of a specimen during forging process and the analysis results were transferred into virtual space using VRML. Since the forging machine and specimen were modeled using Java and VRML, the forging machine and analysis results were browsed and integrated on the web that is interfaced to users through EAI to show the whole forging simulation. The developed system realized the working environment virtually so that education and experiment could be performed effectively even on the PC.

  • Integrating a GPS based vehicle navigation system and the latest optimal algorithms, this research aims to develop a real-time decision support platform for concrete plant to provide the optimal solutions for ready mixed concrete delivery. The platform includes fleet tracking system, simulation and optimization tools, and visual interface which is useful to monitor delivery progress, to obtain crucial historical and real-time data for simulation, and to improve the efficiency of the plant operation. This paper presents configuration of the system and performance evaluation based on operational data.

  • 현재, 웹 기반 기술 및 네트워크 기술의 발달로 인해 실질적이고 다양한 서비스를 원하는 이용자들이 늘어나고 있다. 그중에서 게임을 포함하는 웹 및 모바일 컨텐츠 분야에 대한 관심은 급격히 증가하고 있다. 대부분의 컨텐츠들은 컨텐츠의 이용에 대한 결과로 포인트나 E-Money로 제공하고 있다. 하지만, 포인트 시스템은 포인트를 활용할 수 있는 컨텐츠나 관련 서비스가 부족한 실정이어서 유명무실하게 되었다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여, 본 논문에서 여러 컨텐츠에서 제공하고 있는 포인트 시스템을 통합하고 이러한 포인트를 이용하여 게임에 접목할 수 있는 시스템을 설계하였다. 설계한 시스템을 시뮬레이션하기 위하여 웹상에서 간단한 게임 및 기타 부가적인 컨텐츠 시스템을 제작하였다. 또한, 모바일 기기로 웹상에서 발생하는 결과를 전송받는 시스템도 구현하였다.

An Integrated Approach to the Analysis and Design of a Three-Axis Cross-Coupling Control System

  • We propose a controller design analysis for a cross-coupling control system, which is essential for achieving high contouring accuracy in multi-axis CNC systems. The proposed analysis combines three axial controllers for each individual feed drive system together with a cross-coupling controller at the beginning of the design stage in an integrated manner. These two types of controllers used to be separately designed and analyzed since they have different control objectives. The proposed scheme is based on a mathematical formulation of a three-dimensional contour error model and includes a stability analysis for the overall control system and a performance analysis in terms of contouring and tracking accuracy at steady state. A computer simulation was used to demonstrate the validity of the proposed methodology. The performance variation was investigated under different operating conditions and controller gains, and a design range was elicited that met the given performance specifications. The results provide basic guidelines in systematic and comprehensive controller designs for multi-axis CNC systems. A cross-coupling control system was also implemented on a PC-based three-axis CNC testbed, and the experimental results confirmed the usefulness of the proposed control system in terms of contouring accuracy.

고장-기능 간 관계도를 이용한 다 기능 무기체계의 동시조달수리부속 최적화 연구 (Study to Optimize the Concurrent Spare Parts of Multiple Function Weapon System using Failure-Function Matrix)

  • 무기체계 개발 시 종합군수지원 측면에서 중요한 것 중 하나가 동시조달수리부속 산출이다. 동시조달수리부속은 무기체계 가용도 향상 측면에서 매우 중요한 것으로, 이에 대한 다양한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 대부분의 연구는 하부 구성품의 고장이 무기체계의 다양한 기능에 미치는 세부 영향들을 고려하지 못하고 있다. 즉 하부 구성품의 고장이 무기체계의 특정 기능에 미치는 영향이 미비하면, 구성품 교환과 같은 정비가 필요 없다는 점을 고려하지 못한다. 그래서 본 연구에서는 고장-기능 간 관계도를 이용하여, 하부 구성품의 고장이 무기체계의 다양한 기능에 미치는 세부 영향을 고려한 동시조달수리부속 산출 방법을 기술하였다. 본 연구 절차는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 무기체계의 운용 및 정비 시스템을 분석한다. 둘째, 고장-기능 간 관계도를 개발한다. 셋째, 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 시뮬레이션 모델을 설계 한다. 마지막으로, 시뮬레이션과 메타 휴리스틱 모형인 진화 전략을 통해 동시조달수리부속 최적 수량을 선정한다. 해당 연구는 동시조달수리부속 산출 연구에 새로운 방향을 제시하였다.
