플립러닝 기반 공학수업 개선 방안 연구 - 국내 C대학 공학수업 운영 사례를 중심으로 - (A Study on Improvement of Flipped Learning-based Engineering Course - Focused on Engineering Course Cases at C university -)

  • This study analyzed the evaluations of instructors and experts on flipped learning-based engineering in order to suggest improvement strategies. This study was conducted with 8 engineering courses which participated in the flipped learning course development project of C university from 2017-2018. As a result of the analysis, the instructors and experts pointed out that the pre-learning was not performed and checked effectively. In this regard, the instructors suggested the students' burden of pre-learning, the lack of understanding about flipped learning, and the experts suggested the lack of instructional strategies to facilitate pre-learning. In addition, the instructors and the experts pointed out that the courses were still instructor-centered. The instructors evaluated that they operated the instructor-led course by themselves. In addition, the experts suggested that there was not enough instructional strategies to activate the learner-centered activities. The number of the students and the lecture room environment that were not appropriate for the learner- centered class were the evaluation opinions of both the instructors and the experts. In addition, the professor suggested the lack of understanding and preparation of the flipped learning of the instructors and the learner as the main opinion, and the experts pointed out that the online learning system and classroom was not linked for pre-learning, classroom learning, and the post-learning. Based on these results, suggestions for improvement of flip learning based engineering course were suggested.

전문교육기관 비행교관의 직무스트레스가 직무만족에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Job Stress on Job Satisfaction of Flight Instructors at Aviation Training Centers)

  • Flight instructors at aviation training centers are exposed to various stresses, such as stress caused by special work environments, stress caused by working conditions, and stress related to uncertain future airline employment. These stresses are expected to not only affect flight safety, but also adversely affect the job satisfaction of flight instructors, and consequently negatively affect the performance of high-quality flight education. Therefore, this study was conducted to understand the effects of these stresses on the job satisfaction of flight instructors by examining the stress experienced by flight instructors in flight, psychological, and physical aspects based on the results of previous studies on stress. To the end, this study conducted a survey of flight instructors belonging to aviation training centers, and as a result of analyzing the collected data, it was confirmed that the physical stress of flight instructors had a significant negative effect on their job satisfaction.

온라인 교양 수업에 대한 대학 교원의 인식 (A Study on Instructors' Perspective of Online General Education Classes - Focusing on the Case of C University)

  • 본 연구는 코로나19 이후 불가피하게 진행된 온라인 교양 수업에 대한 교수자의 만족도를 조사, 분석하여 교수자가 인식하는 온라인 교양 수업의 효과성을 알아보고자 한다. 이를 위해 경상남도 C대학의 교양대학에서 2021학년도 1학기 말에 실시한 수업 만족도에 관한 설문조사에 응답한 54명의 교수자를 대상으로 온라인 교양 수업의 전체적인 만족도와 이에 영향을 미칠 만한 변인들에 관해 연구하였다. 그 결과, 교수자는 온라인 교양 수업에 대해 전반적으로 부정적 인식을 갖고 있었다. 전체 만족도와 학습자와의 상호작용 변인에서는 각각 2.80, 2.87의 낮은 만족도를 보였으며, 그 외 요인들에 대해서는 전체 만족도보다 높은 만족도를 보였다. 또한 전체 만족도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인은 수업에 사용된 플랫폼에 관한 만족도였으며, 통계적으로도 유의미했다. 따라서 교수자의 온라인 교양 수업 만족도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 변수인 플랫폼에 교수자는 익숙해질 필요가 있으며, 이를 위해 대학에서는 교수자를 위한 사전 교육이 이루어질 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 일개 대학의 교수자를 대상으로 연구가 진행되었다는 점과 한정된 변수만을 측정하였다는 데에 한계가 있다.

비행교관과 학생조종사의 DiSC 행동유형이 훈련성취도에 미치는 영향 - 육군 헬리콥터 조종사 양성교육을 중심으로 - (Effect of Training Achievement on DiSC Behavior Types of Flight Instructors and Student Pilots - Focusing on Army Helicopter Pilot Training -)

  • This study wanted to confirm whether the DiSC behavior types of student pilots and instructors in the training course of Helicopter pilots affect the flight training achievement. The results of the study are as follows. First, in the distribution of DiSC behavior types of student pilots and instructors, student pilots had the largest number of Dominance with 40.2 percent, while Instructors had the highest number of conscientiousness with 46.5 percent. Second, it was analyzed that the flight training achievement was influenced by the behavior type of student pilots. In basic flight and aircraft type conversion flight, Steadiness had the highest achievement in flight training, and in tactical flight, conscientiousness was the highest. Third, the behavior patterns of student pilots and instructors have been confirmed to have interaction effects in tactical flight.

Perception of University Instructors for Designing Online Interactions: Findings from Importance-Performance Analysis

  • The aim of the current study was to suggest priorities needed to be considered by university instructors when designing online learning. Based on three types of interactions (learner-content, learner-instructor, and learner-learner interactions) for effective online learning (Moore, 1989), draft questionnaires representing each type of interaction were written. After examining content validity by two Ph.D. experts, the survey was constructed with an Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) form. Data of 133 university instructors were collected online. Results showed that support for designing learner-learner interaction was the priority for improving online learning. In terms of learner-instructor interaction, instructors needed to provide social-emotional support to learners so that learners could have a sense of belonging. For learner-instructor interaction, supporting instructors to monitor the level of understanding was the most highly demanding strategy for online learning. Limitations and suggestions for further studies were discussed.

  • The novel coronavirus pandemic has had a significant impact on society and everyday life. The pandemic imposed a global shutdown leading to many challenges such as the suspension of academic programs at universities. The result of this suspension contributed to the rapid overnight migration of educational activities from traditional face-to-face learning to a virtual environment which until then was unfamiliar to both instructors and students. This study identified the experiences faced by built environment higher education instructors in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa during this sudden switch to online teaching and learning. This pilot study employed a quantitative research approach to survey instructor experiences on online teaching and learning during a global pandemic. The data was computed and analyzed using IBM Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 27. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data collected. The study sample comprised of 20 higher education instructors in the region of the KwaZulu Natal province in South Africa. Findings from the study revealed that instructors faced adaptive challenges with rapidly having to redesign and remodel the mode of academic course delivery and assessments to suit an online platform. Additionally, instructors observed that students faced technological challenges such as connectivity and navigating the online learning management system platforms. The challenges identified by instructors and students can be effectively transformed to opportunities for future learning under the 'new normal'.

직업능력개발훈련 교·강사의 자격연계형 마이크로 크리덴셜 적용 방안 (A Study on the Application of Micro-Credentials for Vocational Competency Development Training Teachers and Instructors)

  • 본 연구는 직업능력개발훈련 교·강사의 보수교육과정을 살펴보고, 마이크로 크리덴셜을 적용하기 위한 방안을 살펴보기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 K대학교 능력교육개발원의 직업능력개발훈련 교·강사의 보수교육과정 현황, 마이크로 크리덴셜의 특징, 보수교육과정과 마이크로 크리덴셜의 연계가능성을 살펴보고, 스타훈련교사의 인터뷰를 실시하여 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 디지털 인증서에 대한 인식은 훈련과정 이수시 디지털 인증서인 디지털 크레딧, 디지털 뱃지 발급과 보수교육의 공인된 자격과정에 대한 인식은 대부분 긍정적으로 인식하고 있었다. 또한, 보수교육의 마이크로 크리덴셜 적용방안으로 다양한 사례로 보수교육보다 혜택을 주는 방안, 보수교육의 체계화, 자격과정의 체계화 및 등급화, 자격과정의 학점화 등을 제안하였다. 둘째, 마이크로 크리덴셜을 적용한 보수교육 활용성 제고를 위한 제도적 보완장치로 NCS기반 전공 보수교육 확대 필요성, 효율적인 학습콘텐츠와 학습방법 제공, 최소 이수시간 설정 등을 언급하였다. 그리고, 직업능력개발훈련 교·강사의 이해도 제고방안으로 가장 많이 응답한 내용은 마이크로 크리덴셜 홍보방안이었다. 셋째, 보수교육기관과 직업능력개발훈련 교·강사의 역할에서 보수교육기관은 교육품질 유지에 대해 가장 많이 언급하고 있으며, 직업능력개발훈련 교·강사의 역할로 가장 많이 응답한 내용은 적극적 참여였다. 본 연구로 직업능력개발훈련 교·강사의 보수교육과정과 마이크로 크리덴셜 간의 자격연계로 전문성 제고와 실무역량 이력 포트폴리오를 실질적으로 제공할 수 있는 직업훈련 환경구축을 기대한다.

노인체육지도자의 변혁적 리더십이 조직성과와 직무열의 및 혁신행동에 미치는 영향 (A Study on Influence of Senior Sports Instructors' Transformational Leadership on Organizational Performance, Job Engagement, and Innovative Behavior)

  • 본 연구는 노인체육지도자의 변혁적 리더십이 조직성과와 직무열의 및 혁신행동에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 서울, 경기, 인천 지역의 스포츠센터와 노인체육센터 6곳의 노인체육지도자 236명을 대상으로 연구하여 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 노인체육지도자 리더의 변혁적 리더십은 조직성과의 모든 하위요인에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 변혁적 리더십은 직무열의의 모든 하위요인에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 변혁적 리더십은 혁신행동에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과, 리더의 변혁적 리더십은 조직원들의 조직성과와 직무열의 및 혁신행동을 높여주는 중요한 변수임을 확인하였고, 변혁적 리더십이 조직원의 근무환경에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 효과가 있음을 입증했다는 점에서 큰 의의가 있다.

스쿠버다이빙 지도자의 전문성과 지도자신뢰 및 지도효율성의 관계모형 분석 (Study on Relational Model of Scuba Diving Instructors' Expertise, Instructor Reliability and Instruction Efficiency)

  • This study aims to understand how scuba diving instructors' expertise, instructor reliability and instruction efficiency are related to each other. In order to achieve the research goal, the study used a multi-stage stratified cluster sampling method and collected valid samples from 400 individuals at age of 20 and older who were scuba diving in scuba diving clubs in Busan, Gyeongnam, Gyeongbuk, Jeonnam and Jeonbuk. The 400 valid samples were applied to the data analysis. The study used SPSS 21.0 for processing the gathered data via a frequency analysis, a reliability analysis and a correlation analysis and in order to verify the hypotheses, the study applied AMOS 21.0 and conducted a confirmatory factor analysis and a structure equation model analysis. Findings that the study had extracted are summarized as follows. First, the study confirmed that the scuba diving instructors' expertise has a positive effect on the instructor reliability. Second, the scuba diving instructors' expertise was reported to positively influence the instruction efficiency. Third, the results revealed that the scuba diving club members' reliability in the instructors has a positive influence on the instruction efficiency.

초등학교 보건교사의 보완대체요법 적용 경험 (Experience of School Health Instructors in the Application of Complimentary and Alternative Medicine)

  • Purpose: This study was done to examine the experience of school health instructors in applying complimentary and alternative medicine (CAM). Method: The participants were 215 health instructors working in elementary schools in Busan. Data were collected from Dec. 1, 2004 to Mar. 10, 2005 and were analyzed using SPSS WIN 10.0. Results: Most of the health instructors had knowledge about CAM. Among the various CAM methods, acupuncture was the most widely known at 78.6%. While 53.5% had no experience in CAM education, 46.5% had been trained. Slightly over half (52.1%) had used CAM at school and based their decision on personal experience. As to applicability of CAM at school, 72.1% thought CAM was applicable, and 78.7% of this group considered alleviation of symptoms and assistance in the treatment process as the reasons for their answer. There were significant differences in responses as to the applicability of CAM according to age (p=.002), work experience (p=.004) and educational background (p=.002). Conclusions: The above results suggest that there is a need to develop a professional education program on complimentary and alternative medicine to assist school health instructorsto plan nursing interventions using CAM which are individualized and practical.
