다중 프로세서 방식의 프로그램형 제어기의 구조와 시스템 버스 (The architecture of a multiprocessor based programmable controller with emphasis on its system bus)

  • The architecture of a multiprocessor based programmable controller(MBPC) is presented. It consists of a host processor, processing elements, and Input/Output processors. Some problems in implementing such architecture are also described. To resolve them, we proposed and presented INFOBUS, a system bus for MBPC. The performances of INFOBUS and MBPC are analysed using both analytic models and simulations. Some results from the analysis will be given and validated. In case of 50% of BTI(Block Type Instruction) and 4 processors, the scanning time is shown to be 0.194msec/Kstep with some reasonable assumptions.

  • 최근에 캐쉬의 성능이 전체 시스템에 미치는 영향이 커짐에 따라 캐쉬의 성능을 모델링하고 향상시키기 위한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 네 가지 종류의 캐쉬모델을 가정하고 분기명령어 비율, 캐쉬미스율, 분기예측 실패율 등의 파라메터를 이용하여 수퍼스칼라 프로세서에서의 명령어 패치율을 해석적으로 모델링하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과 분기예측실패가 명령어 패치율에 미치는 영향보다는 캐쉬미스율이나 캐쉬미스 패널티의 증가로 인한 패치율의 감소가 더욱 큰 폭으로 나타났다.

  • There are insufficient models that find problems and solutions for accident prevention through risk assessment and suggest safe work process and work instruction from foundation works to finish work for accident decrease. This paper presents a quantitative risk assessment model by analysis of risk factors in each process such as foundation, erection, structure, equipment finish and etc based on accident examples and investigation on actual condition in building. In addition, the safety management system was developed to perform risk assessment of construction and use it for effective safety training for labor.

  • This Modeling is a cyclical process of creating and modifying models of empirical situations to understand them better and improve decisions. The role of modeling and teaching mathematical modeling in school mathematics has received increasing attention as generating authentic learning and revealing the ways of thinking that produced it. In this paper and interactive lecture session, we will review a subset of the related literature, discuss benefits and challenges in teaching and learning mathematical modeling, and share our attempts to improve traditional textbook problems so that they can become more authentic modeling activities and implications for instruction and assessment as well as for research.

음수의 본질과 형식적 접근에 의한 음수지도에 관한 고찰 (A Study on the Nature of the Negative Numbers and the Teaching of Them by Formative Approach)

  • In school mathematics, the negative numbers have been instructed using the intuitive models such as the number line model, the counting model, and inductive-extrapolation on the additionand multiplication and using inverse operation on the subtraction and division. Theseinstructions on the negative numbers did not present their formal nature and caused the difficulty for students to understand their operations because of the incomplete function of the intuitive models. In this study, we tried to improve such problems of the instructions of the negative numbers on the basis of the didactical phenomenological analysis. First of all, we analysed the nature of the negative numbers and the cognitive obstructions through the examination about the historic process of them. Second, we examined hew the nature of the negative numbers were analysed and described in mathematics. Third, we explored the improving directions for them on the ground of the didactical phenomenological analysis. In school mathematics, the rules of operations using the intuitive models of the negative numbers have been Instructed rather than approaching toward the nature of them. The negative numbers have been developed from the necessity to find the general solution of equations. The study tries to approach the operations instructions of the negative numbers formative]y to overcome the problems of those that are using the intuitive models and to reflect the formative Furthermore of the negative numbers. Furthermore, we examine the way of the instruction of the negative numbers in real context so that the algebraic feature and the real context should be Interactive.

일반학급에서의 초등 수학 영재아 지도 방안 연구 (A Study of a Teaching Plan for Gifted Students in Elementary School Mathematics Classes)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 정규교육과정 내에서 초등학교 일반학급 수학 영재아를 위한 효율적인 영재교육 방안을 탐색해 보고, 영재의 특성을 고려한 심화학습 프로그램을 개발하여 실제로 일반학급의 교수 학습 환경에 적용한 후, 그 효과를 분석하는 것이다. 문헌연구를 통해 초등학교 일반학급 수학 영재아 지도를 위한 복식수업 형태의 영재교육 방안을 제시하였고, 수학영재 심화학습 프로그램을 개발하여 초등학교 1학년 한 학급 6명을 대상으로 적용하여 그 효과를 분석하였다. 연구의 결과 첫째, 일반학급에서 복식수업 형태로 수학 영재교육을 실시하는 것은 수학 영재아 측면에서 매우 효과적이었다. 둘째, 수학영재 심화학습 프로그램은 수학 영재아의 수학적 사고력과 창의성 계발에 매우 효과적이었다. 셋째, 수학 영재아 선발 과정에서 교사의 추천과 영재성 검사는 둘 다 매우 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 영재교육이 방과후 교육 형태의 특별교육으로만 운영될 것이 아니라 정규교육과정 내에서 보다 효율적인 방법으로 운영함으로써 수학 영재아의 요구에 부합되면서도 영재교육의 효과를 극대화할 수 있음을 제안하고 있다.

  • 본 연구는 Y세대 대학생의 정보활용능력 교육을 위하여 이들의 세대적 특성을 이해하고, 관련기준과 교육모형의 비교분석을 통하여 국내 대학도서관의 온라인 튜터리얼 개발과 교육에 있어 개선해야 할 사항을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 구체적으로 정착단계에 있는 미국의 온라인 튜터리얼과 일본의 교육내용을 국내의 그것과 비교분석하고 재구성하여 국내 대학도서관의 Y세대를 위한 온라인 튜터리얼 교수-학습에 필수적인 콘텐츠를 제안하고 개선방안을 제시하였다.

  • In any form of construction work, it is essential that accidents be prevented at every stage from foundation preparation to build completion. For this, it is necessary to use models that can assess risk and provide instruction for safe work processes so that the risk of accidents is reduced. Currently, however, very few models can perform these tasks. In this paper, we presents a model that assesses risk quantitatively by analyzing risk factors involved in stage of construction such as foundation work, erection work, structural work, equipment work, finishing work and etc work. The model performs assessment based on examples of accidents and by investing actual conditions during construction. In addition, we presents in this paper a safety management system was developed to assess risk during construction and to effectively train laborers.

  • In mathematical modeling tasks, where students are exposed to model-eliciting for real and open problems, students are supposed to formulate and use a variety of mathematical skills and tools at hand to achieve feasible and meaningful solutions using appropriate problem solving strategies. In contrast to problem solving activities in conventional math classes, math modeling tasks call for varieties of mathematical ability including mathematical creativity. Mathematical creativity encompasses complex and compound traits. Many researchers suggest the exhaustive list of criterions of mathematical creativity. With regard to the research considering the possibility of enhancing creativity via math modeling instruction, a quantitative scheme to scale and calibrate the creativity was investigated and the assessment of math modeling activity was suggested for practical purposes.

  • GPU (Graphics Processing Units) is consists of SIMD (Single Instruction Multiple Data) architecture and provides fast parallel processing. A GA (Genetic Algorithm), which requires large computations, is implemented in GPU using CUDA (Compute Unified Device Architecture). Three kinds of execution models are presented according to different combinations of processing modules in GPU. Comparison experiments between GPU models and CPU are tested for a couple of benchmark problems by variation of population sizes and complexity of problem sizes.
