  • Institutional foodservice is a type of meal provided to workers in industry and affects the health and psychological wellbeing of workers and productivity. Thus, research on customer satisfaction with institutional foodservice is important. In addition to food industry and food culture developments, the requirements of institutional foodservice customers are diversifying due to COVID-19. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to identify factors that affect customer satisfaction with institutional foodservice using a user-based approach. In this study, the quality of institutional foodservice was defined using customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction, and by using in-depth interview and open coding (a qualitative research method), we derived qualities of institutional foodservice from the user's perspective and compared these with those of previous studies. This study is meaningful as the quality of institutional foodservice was analyzed using a user-based approach, in-depth interview, and open coding and compares results with those of previous studies.

  • The aim of this study is to examine the development of social economy and institutional isomorphism in Chungnam Province. Although 'social economy enterprises' in Chungnam Province achieved rapid quantitative growth, public-led policy and institutional framework has intensified institutional isomorphism. Institutional isomorphism is a phenomenon in which all type of organization and activities become similar in an institutional environment. This isomorphism hinders the social value orientation and innovation of social economic enterprises. As a result of the case analysis, institutional isomorphization was intensified if regional ecosystem(that can maintain and strengthen social value orientation) was not established. The creation of social value is at a level that satisfies the institution and the social value orientation is also weakened.

  • PURPOSE. This study aims to assess and predict lifespan of dental prostheses using newly developed Korean Association of Prosthodontics (KAP) criteria through a large-scale, multi-institutional survey. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Survey was conducted including 16 institutions. Cox proportional hazards model and principal component analysis (PCA) were used to find out relevant factors and predict life expectancy. RESULTS. 1,703 fixed and 815 removable prostheses data were collected and evaluated. Statistically significant factors in fixed prosthesis failure were plaque index and material type, with a median survival of 10 to 18 years and 14 to 20 years each. In removable prosthesis, factors were national health insurance coverage, antagonist type, and prosthesis type (complete or partial denture), with median survival of 10 to 13 years, 11 to 14 years, and 10 to 15 years each. For still-usable prostheses, PCA analysis predicted an additional 3 years in fixed and 4.8 years in removable prosthesis. CONCLUSION. Life expectancy of a prosthesis differed significantly by factors mostly controllable either by dentist or a patient. Overall life expectancy was shown to be longer than previous research.

  • The objective of running a long-term care institution is to provide services helpful for maintaining, supporting, and improving elderlies' optimum level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning. For the purpose of analyzing the current situations of institutional long term care facilities in Korea, 27 facilities were selected proportionately from each of the cities and provinces, out of the total 152 facilities. About 20% of those who were institutionalized during 25 August through 2 Qctober 1993, the 391 elderlies were chosen on a systematic random basis. The instrument of this study was developed by modifying the tools of CARE, MAI and PCTC. A multivariate approach of discriminant analysis and clustering technique were employed for this study. The Stiudy reveals that there is no clear differentiation of goals and functions among the longterm care institutions in Korea. Staffing patte군 of long-term care facilities shows a shortage of nurses, physical therapists, and dieticians. The linkage between acute care facilities and long-term care is weak, and administration of long-term care faciltiy is carried out by non-professionals. They are responsible for assessing health status before entering the facility, and evaluating elderlies' care. Therefore, it is not surprising to find that most of the facilities have accommodated agede regardless of their real needs and health status. Based upon findings of the analysis, this study has classified long-term care facilities into four types : Type I is to help elderlies maintain independence in daily living activities. Type II facilities have the objective of maintaining and improving the current level of elderlies' function. Type III is to maintain maximum independence of elderlies in activities of daily living. And Type IV is identified for the group of facilities designed to restore or improve functional abilities of elderlies. In conclusion, the following suggestions are made : the need for long-term care should be assessed by multidimensional measurement. Institutional long-term care facilities should be classified and developed in response to type of type of care and service need. Both acute and long-term care facilities should be linked together in order to support the evaluation of service operation and program development.

We collected 322 articles including the subject of institutional foodservice Industry published from January 1, 2005 to December 31, 2009. Classification based on content analysis was conducted based on research method, statistical analysis, survey area, institution and location, sample type and research subject. First, in case of the research method, primary field survey/monitoring showed the highest rate. In addition, statistical analysis was as follows. Frequency/descriptive analysis were used as the highest rate. Survey area was a high percentage in case of Seoul/Incheon/Gyeong-gi province. In case of the institution and location, school/university showed the highest rate. In the sample type, foodservice employee/dietitian/nutrition teacher showed the highest rate. In this study, the most important research subjects were classified study subjects into seven by taking advantage of the previous studies. The greatest numerical study in seven study subjects was 'service quality and customers'(28.9%), and the following subjects were 'foodservice operation'(26.4%), 'hygiene, security and microbiology' (15.8%), 'organization and human resource' (15.5%). But it is noteworthy that 'marketing and strategic management'(9.6%) and 'education and training'(3.1%) of lower research results in this study are also important fields in institutional foodservice industry. • In this study, the use statistics by type of data in the A university of a Institutional Repository(IR) with exponential growth in usage and the trend of changes in the access path for users to access A-IR were analyzed. In particular, it was verified that securing various exposure paths contributed to the spread of A-IR by focusing on the change in the approach path, and also confirmed that the method of communication between the ages, such as SNS, is used as the approach path of A-IR. Through this process, the company was planning to suggest the direction of operation, including diversification of exposure paths that activate the institutional repository.
