Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the effectiveness of informational intervention delivered by electronic patient information board in the OR waiting room for reduction of anxiety of mothers with child having operation. Method: Nonequivalent control group non-synchronized design was used in this study. The subjects was 52 mothers whose children underwent elective surgery in one Pediatric Hospital. Informational intervention in this study consisted of four critical stages. State anxiety by Spielberger, mean arterial pressure, and heart rates at preoperative and postoperative period were measured. The data were analyzed by using Chi-Square test and t-test with SPSS/PC 10.0 program. Results: 1) There was a significant difference in the state anxiety between the control and the experimental groups. 2) There was no significant difference in the mean arterial pressure between the two groups. 3) There was no significant difference in the heart rate between the two groups. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that informational intervention delivered by electronic patient information board would be an effective intervention during the operation in reducing anxiety of mothers with child having operation.

The purpose of the present study was to identify the effects of communicator, type of clothing and subject's age on informational influence in clothing conformity. The sample consisted of 205 subjects assigned to two groups (female college students in their early twenties and housewives in their late thirties living in kyongju). In this study the research design consisted of a 3(communicator)×2(subject's age)×2(type of clothing) factorial design. The stimuli consisted of 10 color photographs (6 one-piece dresses and 4 jeans in current fashion) In the first step, subjects were asked to arrange stimuli in the order of greatest fashionability. In the second step, subjects were exposed to experimental manipulation which consisted of slides of various clothing styles and an essay concerning a forecast on fashion trends. The communicator in the essay was described as a designer, a college student, or a housewife. In the third step, in addition to other questions subjects were asked to indicated their degree of agreement with the essay. The data were analyzed by ANOVA, X2 and t-test. The results were: 1. Informational influence on clothing conformity varied by communicator, type of clothing, and subject's age. Subjects were most conforming when the communicator was described as a designer and when the clothing style was a one-piece dress. 2. Informational influence results revealed that housewives were more conforming than the female college students in the jean style.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of spousal attachment on social support the husband provides for his wife, investigate the relationships between spousal attachment and the social support the husband received from the wife, and the view the relationship between the social support provided for the wife and the social support received from the wife during early adulthood. A survey was conducted for this study. The hypotheses were based on adult attachment theory. The results are as fellows: Secure attachment with a spouse had a significant positive effect on motivational support and esteem support provided for the wife. Anxious-avoidant attachment with a spouse had a significant negative effect on instrumental support, social companionship, motivational support, esteem support and informational support provided for the wife. Anxious-ambivalent attachment with a spouse negatively affected instrumental support, social companionship, motivational support, esteem support and informational support provided for the wife. Secure attachment with a spouse was positively related to instrumental support, social companionship, motivational support, esteem support and informational support received from the wife. Anxious-avoidant attachment with a spouse was negatively related to instrumental support, social companionship, motivational support, esteem support and informational support received from the wife. Anxious-ambivalent attachment with a spouse was negatively related to esteem support received from the wife. The results were discussed as they relate to the importance of spousal attachment for a healthy family.

This study is an attempt to analyze the information problem and the informational education in information society through the two cultural paradigms of ‘system‘ and ‘life world’, which are used to interpret the social problems in modern age. Information problem concerns the individual problems such as reference and validity problem of information and social problems like paradox of information, information technology, and equal opportunity. From the discussion was deduced the fact that the informational education is the cultural media to arbitrate the conflict between the reasonable solution of the individual information problem in ‘life world’ and the control attempt by ‘system’ to cope with the social information problem. It is also indicated that the aim of the informational education is the information autonomy which can be built through the information literacy.

The MZ Generation likes watching YouTube videos produced by senior influencers despite the big age gap. In addition, the final goal of collaborative YouTube videos between senior influencers and brands is to increase sales. Accordingly, this study examined this interesting phenomenon and aimed to provide useful insights for creating YouTube videos targeting the MZ generation. This study was divided into two parts. Study 1 explored the viewers' perceived benefits by looking at the YouTube video comments of a senior fashion influencer, and then classified the perceived benefits into informational, psychological, and hedonic benefits. Study 2 analyzed the relationships among the viewers' perceived benefits (informational, psychological, hedonic benefits), attitude toward a brand, and behavior intention. Study 2 found that only informational benefits, among the three perceived benefits, enhanced attitudes toward a brand, thereby affecting behavior intention. Based on the results of two sub-studies, this study highlights the importance of informational benefits to maximize the marketing effects employing the collaborative YouTube videos of senior influencers and brands.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of informational diversity-sensitive orientation on employee attitudes, focusing on the moderating effects of communication. Recently, diversity within organizations has intensified and the importance of diversity management within organizations is increasing. Diversity studies have focused on the variance of objective diversity characteristics, and have provided mixed results. In order to overcome limitations in the research, this study focuses on members' perception of diversity. To this end, the variable of informational diversity-sensitive orientation(IDSO) was used. Sample data is derived from 301 surveys of employees in firms located in South Korea. Results show that informational diversity-sensitive orientation(IDSO) had a positive effect on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Regarding the moderating effect of communication, a positive moderating effect was exhibited only in co-worker communication, and differential influence derived from communication type. Based on the analysis results, we discuss research implications and directions for future research.

We discuss some interesting sublattices of interval-valued fuzzy subgroups. In our main result, we consider the set of all interval-valued fuzzy normal subgroups with finite range that attain the same value at the identity element of the group. We then prove that this set forms a modular sublattice of the lattice of interval-valued fuzzy subgroups. In fact, this is an interval-valued fuzzy version of a well-known result from classical lattice theory. Finally, we employ a lattice diagram to exhibit the interrelationship among these sublattices.

We introduce the concepts of interval-valued fuzzy complete inner-unitary subsemigroups and interval-valued fuzzy group congruences on a semigroup. And we investigate some of their properties. Also, we prove that there is a one to one correspondence between the interval-valued fuzzy complete inner-unitary subsemigroups and the interval-valued fuzzy group congruences on a regular semigroups.

On the analogy of total countable compactness, we study interesting subfamilies in the class of pseudocompact spaces. We show relationships between totally pseudocompact spaces, sequentially pseudocompact spaces, and DFCC spaces. We also prove relationships among densely ${\xi}$-pseudocompact, ${\xi}$-pseudocompact, and countably pracompact spaces. As a productive result on countably pracompact spaces, we will prove that if X is a countably pracompact space and Y is a countably pracompact ${\kappa}$-space, then $X{\times}Y$ is count ably pracompact.

We discuss the relationship between interval-valued fuzzy ideals and interval-valued fuzzy congruence on a distributive lattice L and show that for a generalized Boolean algebra the lattice of interval-valued fuzzy ideals is isomorphic to the lattice of interval-valued fuzzy congruences. Finally we consider the products of interval-valued fuzzy ideals and obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for an interval-valued fuzzy ideal on the direct sum of lattices to be representable as a direct sum of interval-valued fuzzy ideals on each lattice.
