The present study aims to demonstrate that it is possible to objectively evaluate the competency (referred to as graduate attributes or program outcomes) of graduates of engineering education programs. To strengthen the link between engineering education accreditation and the qualification/certification system of engineering professionals, referred to as K-Engineering Professional (K-EP), individually assuring the quality of accredited graduates using multiple-choice test as main assessment tool is proposed. Test questions related to the basic vocational skills of NCS are developed for seven of the 10 program outcomes of the ABEEK KEC2015. The three program outcomes, PO1, PO3, and PO5, which need to fully accommodate the characteristics of each disciplinary field, are excluded. A pilot test involving graduates of eight accredited programs is conducted. Applying on Rasch model based on Item Response Theory (IRT), the item difficulty, fit and discrimination of multiple choice test are demonstrated. The pilot study strongly suggests that individual competency evaluation is possible at a certain level for seven program outcomes tested. For PO1, PO3, and PO5, however, questions that address the characteristics of each disciplinary field need to be devised. If a suitable pool of questions is built, it can be used as a program outcomes assessment tool by the accredited programs.
The objective of this study was to identify factors affecting the positive and negative responses of undergraduate students to inferiority by using a group counseling program to manage the inferiority of undergraduate students majoring in health science. This study sampled 30 undergraduate students attending the health science department of S University and divided them into a treatment group and a control group. The treatment group received an inferiority management group counseling program twice a week 120 minutes each from November 20, 2018, to January 2, 2019 eight sessions in total. The inferiority response criterion was applied before-treatment, after-treatment, and follow-up to verify the effectiveness of the program. The analysis results showed that the inferiority management group counseling program significantly decreased the negative response of undergraduate students to inferiority and significantly increased the positive response to inferiority. These results suggest that the inferiority management counseling program can lower the negative attitude and enhance the positive attitude toward the inferiority, which is caused by comparing themselves with their peers.
The purpose of this study is to verify the influence of the cognitive process related to the organizational citizenship behavior. The research method consisted of the cross-design of the prospect dimension and goal orientation dimension, and information security factors consisted of distributive justice, response efficacy, self efficacy, and organizational citizenship behavior. As a result of the study, the dimension of prospect had a significant effect on response efficacy and self efficacy, and it was found that the influence of the gain condition was greater than that of the loss condition. The goal orientation dimension had a significant effect on response efficacy and self efficacy, and it was found that the influence of the growth condition was greater than that of the validation condition. The research model that explained the relationship between information security factors appeared as a partial mediating model between distributive justice, response efficacy, and organizational citizenship behavior. The implications of this study suggest that it is necessary to establish an information security strategy in combination with individual decision-making factors and organizational culture factors.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to reduce odor complaints by identifying problems with odor management at the site of the water regeneration center and researching odor management methods. Due to the high population density of Korea, sewage treatment facilities are adjacent to residential and industrial areas. According to previous studies, the main malodor-emitting facilities of sewage treatment facilities were preliminary treatment facilities (2,220 times), sedimentation basins (4,628 times), and sludge treatment facilities (9,616 times). Research design, data and methodology: Compound malodors and designated malodor-producing substances were collected from five site boundaries of the water regeneration center and analyzed according to the official methods to test malodor, and a total of two times (August and September 2020) were conducted. Results: As a result of the measurement, in the green area in front of the center office, compound malodors were detected at a maximum of 8 times and at least 3 times during the dawn time. As for the designated malodor-producing substances, 0.1ppm of ammonia was detected in the green area in front of the center office and the park golf course. This is within 15 times the maximum allowable emission level of compound malodors and within 1ppm of the maximum allowable emission level of ammonia. Conclusions: Even if the dilution rate of the compound malodors did not exceed the maximum allowable emission level, the odor could be recognized, and more research is needed in the future to establish effective reduction measures according to the subjective and individual and seasonal odor characteristics.
The aim of this study to assess the effect of information security policy awareness, information security involvement, compliance behavioral intention on information security behavior The research method is composed of a cross-sectional design of reward and fairness. This paper focuses on the process of organizational policy on the information security compliance intention in the individual decision-making process. As a result, the reward had a significant effect on compliance behavioral intention, and it was found that influence of the psychological reward-based condition was greater than the material reward-based condition. The fairness had a significant effect on information security policy awareness, information security involvement, information security behavior, and it was found that influence of the equity-based condition was greater than the equality-based condition. The exploration model was verified as a multiple mediation model. In addition, the discussion presented the necessary research direction from the perspective of synergy by the cultural environment of individuals and organizations.

A forecast foresight of the conditions for the development of educational affairs in the Information Society of Ukraine is presented, taking into account changes in the technique, technologies, and the socio-social sphere. Unresolved problems in Ukraine regarding the modernization and improvement of the education system by means of informatization are highlighted. The need for further improvement of Ukrainian education by means of informatization is noted. Formulated the main goal of future education. The necessary conditions for the successful development of future education are highlighted. The role and place of the key figure of the teacher in the education of the future is determined. The article highlights the theoretical and philosophical foundations of professional subjectivity of the future specialist. Recently, the world's pedagogical thought has increasingly focused on how to build an educational process so that it brings a sense of happiness to all its participants. It is believed that this is a new management philosophy in general, although its origins are in ancient Greek sources, which claim that only a happy life has meaning and value. It is found out that the professional subjectivity of a specialist is an important professionally significant quality of the individual, which provides a purposeful and optimal implementation of their mental, personal resources for solving professional and life problems, which is manifested in the desire for self-definition, self-determination, self-regulation and self-improvement in professional activities taking into account the information society. The structure of this phenomenon is shown.

Purpose: The small-scale environmental impact assessment has been in operation since its implementation in August 2000, and is a system that meets the purpose of sustainable development in consideration of the environment in areas requiring conservation. However, when preparing a small environmental impact assessment report, the contents of the reduction measures are too qualitative, or reports are prepared to simply list the compliance stipulated by individual laws, and the contents of consultations prepared by consultative agencies and review agencies are not much different. In addition, the direction of consultation on development projects for similar locations of the same project type is frequently changed by reflecting the subjective judgment of the consultative officer of the Ministry of Environment (Environment Agency). Therefore, this study attempted to improve the establishment of measures to reduce the existing simple listing of qualitative contents and the inconsistent presentation of review opinions by consultative agencies and review agencies. Research design, data and methodology: The research method extracted absolute evaluation items and relative evaluation items among small environmental impact assessment items, analyzed and presented detailed items, and prepared a distribution table for each section according to the details of the relative evaluation items, and presented them as a table. Results: This study was conducted to derive uniform results with objective indicators in the preparation and consultation process of a small-scale environmental impact assessment. Conclusions: Once a quantitative evaluation is established, the consultant can objectively determine and process the environmental impact.
The study of human erroneous actions has traditionally taken place along two different lines of approach. One has been concerned with finding and explaining the causes of erroneous actions, such as studies in the psychology of "error". The other has been concerned with the qualitative and quantitative prediction of possible erroneous actions, exemplified by the field of human reliability analysis (HRA). Another distinction is also that the former approach has been dominated by an academic point of view, hence emphasising theories, models, and experiments, while the latter has been of a more pragmatic nature, hence putting greater emphasis on data and methods. We have been developing a method to make predictions about error modes. The input to the method is a detailed task description of a set of scenarios for an experiment. This description is then analysed to characterise thd nature of the individual task steps, as well as the conditions under which they must be carried out. The task steps are expressed in terms of a predefined set of cognitive activity types. Following that each task step is examined in terms of a systematic classification of possible error modes and the likely error modes are identified. This effectively constitutes a qualitative analysis of the possibilities for erroneous action in a given task. In order to evaluate the accuracy of the predictions, the data from a large scale experiment were analysed. The experiment used the full-scale nuclear power plant simulator in the Halden Man-Machine Systems Laboratory (HAMMLAB) and used six crews of systematic performance observations by experts using a pre-defined task description, as well as audio and video recordings. The purpose of the analysis was to determine how well the predictions matiched the actually observed performance failures. The results indicated a very acceptable rate of accuracy. The emphasis in this experiment has been to develop a practical method for qualitative performance prediction, i.e., a method that did not require too many resources or specialised human factors knowledge. If such methods are to become practical tools, it is important that they are valid, reliable, and robust.
The purpose of this study is to examine distress and difficulties experienced by multi-cultural elementary students in our society and to identify replaceable resources related to their school adjustment. For this, semi-structured interview consisting of questions related to these issues was conducted to 14 multi-cultural elementary students of 3rd to 6th grade who were living in a metropolitan area. Qualitative data were analyzed based on Giorgi's(1985) method of phenomenological analysis, which led to three dimensions in relation to elementary school adjustment: individual, relationship, and societal dimensions. Also, for school adjustment, education was found to be needed at the level of individuals, family, and multi-cultural cognition. Lastly, as for multi-cultural elementary students to adjust well not only at the school but also in Korean society overall, they must have positive national identity and multi-cultural recognition. Finally, their school adjustment were discussed in relation to these findings.

This study is aimed at researching on psychopathological characteristics of agriculture-specialized college students, in a specific educational environment, consulting some students who show maladjusted characteristics, verifying its effects and providing basic data for college life instructions. The complete survey MMPI was conducted for 676 freshmen and juniors attending K agriculture-specialized college located in Jeollabuk-do. To analyze the results, basic statistics, bivariate correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were implemented. The results of this study are as follows; First, the level of overall clinical scale was lower than 50 points, standard point, and freshmen showed higher depression (D), hysteria (Hy) and psychasthenia (Pt) in general. Such results are different from the other study results. It is considered an anxiety in early stage, resulted from a living in a dormitory. For the juniors who came back from one-year practice, anxiety about employment seems little because they are already employed. Second, The effects of personal consultation for maladjusted students were proved (p<.01). The students who got consultation showed improvement effect from 'very bad condition' to 'considerable depression', which is low score. This study has a meaning in preventing from any accident, by screening maladjusted students who are supposed to learn in a specific situation, by relieving their symptoms through consultation and letting them concentrate on learning.
