A Study on the Importance, Performance, and Educational Needs of the Community Pharmacy Practice Education (지역약국 필수 실무실습 교육의 중요도, 수행도 및 교육요구도 분석 연구)

  • Objective: The purpose of the study was to analyze the difference in the importance and performance of the educational content of the community pharmacy practice and find the factors that influence it. Methods: A 5-point Likert scale questionnaire asked about the importance and performance of the pharmacy practice education items to community pharmacy preceptors, current students, and professors. Data were analyzed using Microsoft office 365 Excel and IBM SPSS 21.0. Results: A total of 117 people participated. The averages of importance and performance were 4.34±0.34 and 3.71±0.45, respectively. Except for the computational entry of prescriptions and medication history, the average score for the importance of all educational items was statistically significantly higher than the one for performance. Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) identified over-the-counter medication counseling, over-the-counter drug selection consultation, pharmacy management, adverse drug reaction monitoring, and understanding and implementation of drug use evaluation as the items that needed focused effort. Borich's needs were highest in the adverse drug reaction monitoring. Conclusions: Overall, high importance and low performance indicate a need for improvement in community pharmacy practice education. Since the demand for education was high in over-the-counter medication counseling, adverse drug reaction monitoring, and OTC drug selection consultation, various supports are urgently needed to strengthen pharmacy practice education in this area in the future.

A STUDY ON IMPROVEMENT PLANS USING USER DISSATISFACTION FACTORS IN ASTRONOMICAL SCIENCE MUSEUM - Focusing on the case of Geochang Wolseong Space Creative Science Museum - (천문과학관의 이용자 불만요인을 활용한 개선방안 연구 - 거창월성우주창의과학관 사례를 중심으로 - )

  • In this study, complaints from visitors in the science museum satisfaction survey were categorized into four primary factors and ten sub-factors. This categorization aimed to provide recommendations for enhancing the Geochang Wolseong Space Creative Science Museum as an illustrative case study. Futhermore, the study examimed the relative importance of each factor by surveying 90 science museum visitors. The following results are obtained. Firstly, it was evident that the Geochang Wolseong Space Creative Science Museum requires urgent improvement. Certainly, in the primary factors, issues related to the utilization environment emerged as the most significant sources of dissatisfaction, while in the sub-factors, the adequacy of fees was identified as the most prominent concern. Secondly, through the result of the IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis) of the complaint factors, four primary issues were identified as top priorities for consideration: fare adequacy, lack of convenient facilities, in sufficient publicity, and a lack of distinctiveness compared to similar facilities. Lastly, when analyzing the relationship between complaints and overall satisfaction, factors related to human service, environment, and educational content had negative effects. In contrast, factors associated with science museum operation exhibited a different trend, suggestinga structural impact relationship with the overall impact of complaints.

An Exploratory Study on the Importance and Performance Analysis of Health Message Design Principles (건강증진 메시지 디자인 원리의 중요도와 실행도에 관한 탐색적 연구)

  • This study investigated how people perceived the importance of health message design principles including gist presentation, usefulness of content, format, and intuitive design and how well a webzine article published by Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety was designed in terms of the four design principles. This study also explored what individual characteristics influenced the perceptions of health message design principles. A total of 294 adults participated in the survey, and their responses were analyzed with the Importance-Performance Analysis method. Participants perceived that usefulness of content was most important in the text design; gist presentation was most important in the visual design; and format was well designed in both text and visual messages. This study showed that it is crucial to improve the quality of visual health messages particularly in terms of gist presentation and intuitive design. We also found that individuals' interest in health played a significant role in the perceptions of health messages. These results were discussed in regards to principles and strategies for the effective design of health messages.

  • Surface mount technology is the biggest theme in the area of deιIronic component. To miniatunze an electronic component, s such as ferrite chip inductor, the cer뼈lic wet process for green-sheet lamination and/or screen printing method through a s solvent medium system is widely used. The preparation and characterization of NiCuZn Ferrite (NCZF) shurry and the green s sheet using the water mixed binder system has been studied. The 21 vol% of NCZF slurry was prepared by a ball milling. The p polyacrylic vinyl copolymer (Mw; 60,000) was used as a binder. Th$\xi$ mixture of distilled water, isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and 2l butoxy ethanol was used as a dispersion medium. The water content of medium varied from about 40% to 80%. As the results. Thc disp$\xi$rston stability of the NCZF slurry was attributed to the free polymer rather than the electrostatic force of the particle. T The viscosity of the NCZF slurry was greatly depended on the ratio of water content in the medium.

The Effects of Dramatherapy Program on Sociality of Isolated Children (연극치료 프로그램이 고립아동의 사회성에 미치는 효과)

  • This study is to know the effect of drama therapy on the sociality of isolated children. To achieve this goal, the following hypothesis was built. Hypothesis I. Dramatherapy program will improve the sociality of isolated children. I -1. Dramatherapy program will improve in cooperation. I -2. Dramatherapy program will improve in independency. I -3. Dramatherapy program will improve in sociability. I -4. Dramatherapy program will improve in law-abiding. To test this hypothesis, the social and emotional isolation test was conducted in 190 children consisting of fifth-grader from N elementary school located in Busan to select 28 children whose founded to be isolated; among these children, eight who wanted to participate in the program were positioned at the experimental group and other eight who didn't want to do and who demonstrated the range of marks similar to the experimental group were positioned at the control group. The dramatherapy program was based on the theory by Robert Landy (2002), Jennings (2003) and Phil Jones (2005) to improve the sociality of isolated children and was implemented in a total of 15 sessions, two sessions a week after school. To test the effect of the program, A modified test paper by Suh, Poongyeon (1991) with the content of testing sociality into a test paper of human nature for elementary school students to be made by Jeong, Bummo (1971) was used which consists of four sub-factors: cooperation, independency, sociability, law-abiding. As a quantitative analysis, Mann-Whitney Test were analyzed for experimental and control groups. As a qualitative analysis, the interaction patterns among student were analyzed on he basis of video tapes. The tool of observe the interaction patterns among student was Interaction Process Analysis System which was made by Bales (1970). This study obtained the following result First, the drama therapy had meaningful effect on the sociality of the sociality of isolated children. But the quantitative change of the sociality test conclusion was showed meaningfully and positive social behavior was increased in periodical process analysis. Second, in the Interaction Process Analysis(IPA) affirmative interactions increased and negative interactions decreased.

Consumption Behaviors and Selective Attributes of Home Meal Replacement in Middle-aged Adults according to Gender (성별에 따른 중년층의 가정간편식에 대한 소비행동과 선택속성)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate and compare the consumption behaviors for purchase of Home Meal Replacement (HMR) products and importance and satisfaction on selective attributes of HMR in middle-aged adults by gender. The subjects were 919 middle-aged adults (400 males and 519 females; 40 to 64 years) residing in Seoul and its metropolitan area, who have HMR purchasing experience. The survey was conducted from January to August 2018. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 23.0 program. Consumption frequency of HMR products in male and female subjects was 1-2 times a month by 42.3% and 40.8% and 4-6 times a month by 26.8% and 19.8%, respectively (p<0.05). Reasons for purchasing HMR in male and female subjects were shown significantly different from saving time by 44.8% and 50.5% and easy cooking by 25.8% and 16.6%, respectively (p<0.01). HMR products with high preference and satisfaction for the subjects included Gimbap, precooked dried rice, and frozen food. According to the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA), selective attributes of HMR with high importance and low satisfaction in the second quadrant were food additives, origin, nutrient content, and price, for both male and female subjects; additionally, hygiene was a factor included only by female subjects. Therefore, these results suggest that it is needed to consider to produce HMR products with improved qualities using reliable food materials and ingredients and to maintain competitive pricing for the expansion of HMR products consumption of middle-aged adults.

  • This study aims to analyze the level of members' awareness of records management in the Republic of Korea Army within the institutional context extensively. Accordingly, in-depth interviews were conducted after comparing and analyzing the institutional systems that restricted the members' record management activities. As a result, it was identified that the members were confused by the inconsistency among the systems that defined the work procedures, and that the value of responsibility and efficiency in the records management system does not match the organization's goals. Therefore, the legal justification of the system should be improved in harmony with the responsibilities and efficiency and to match them with the organization's objectives. Moreover, the improved system should be internalized by the members through instructions that are relevant to the content of the system. This study intends to increase awareness in the records management system and improve the system as well.

An Analysis of Elementary School Teachers' Educational Needs on Designing Interactions for Online Mathematics Lessons (온라인 수학 수업에서 상호작용 설계에 대한 초등교사의 교육요구도 분석)

  • Online classes have become one of the general teaching and learning method in elementary education, and elementary school teachers are essentially required to design and implement online math classes that reflect the characteristics of online environment and the specificity of the subject. The qualitative improvement of online mathematics lessons can start with examining what difficulties teachers actually have in enacting the online lessons, and this study focused on their educational needs by examining the degree to which elementary school teachers perceive and implement in terms of designing online interactions. The result showed that teacher education on Learner-Content Interaction (LC) and Learner-Learner Interaction (LL) was necessary for elementary school teachers designing online mathematics lessons, and the educational needs of detailed items of interactions were confirmed. Furthermore, it was found that there was a difference in educational needs for the types of online interactions according to the career life cycle of elementary school teachers. The instructional design strategies for online interactions in online mathematics lessons and implications for teacher education necessary for elementary school teachers were derived from the result.

Assessing the Dehydration Pervaporation Performance for Purification of Industrially Significant 1, 2 Hexanediol/Water Mixtures Using Crosslinked PVA Membrane (가교된 PVA 분리막을 이용한 1, 2 hexanediol/water 혼합물의 투과증발 탈수 특성 연구)

  • In this study, the alternative to the energy-intensive conventional vacuum distillation process, an eco-friendly and energy-efficient pervaporation separation was employed in 1,2 hexane diol/water (HDO/water) mixture. The crosslinked PVA-glutaraldehyde was coated inside the alumina hollow fiber membrane (Al-HF). In the HDO/IPA pervaporation separation, optimization of the membrane concerning PVA/GA ratio, curing temperature, and pervaporation operating condition were performed. In the long-term stability test, the sustainable pervaporation separation performance giving flux in the range of 1.90~2.16 kg/m2h, and water content in permeate was higher than 99.5% (separation factor = 68) was obtained from the PVA/GA (molar ratio = 0.08, curing temperature = 80℃) coated Al-HF membrane from HDO/water (25/75, w/w, %) mixture at 40℃. Therefore, this work provides potential and inspiration for PVA-based membranes to mitigate excessive energy requirements in HDO/water separation by pervaporation.

  • To develop a beneficial microbial feed for the cultivation of rotifer, Brachionus plicatilis, an aerobic photosynthetic bacterium, Erythrobacter sp. $S\;\pi-I$ was isolated from marine structure at Haeundae beach in Pusan, Korea. Feeding effects of Erythrobacter sp. $S\;\pi-I$ on the growth of rotifer were analyzed comparing to other feeds such as PSB (purple nonsulfur bacteria), Chlorella sp. and baker's yeast. Erythrobacter sp. $S\;\pi-I$ contained more linoleic acid $(C_{18:3\omega3})$ and oleic acid $(C_{18:1\omega9})$ and amino acids than PSB (purple nonsulfur bacteria), Chlorella sp. and baker's yeast. The rotifer fed on Erythrobacter sp. $S\;\pi-I$ showed better effects than those fed on other feeds in the individual growth, size and weight. Also, the rotifer especially contained more eicosapentaenoic acid $(C_{20:5\omega3})$ and docosahexaenoic acid $(C_{22:6\omega3})$ in case of Erythrobacter sp. $S\;\pi-I$ feeding than the other feeds. In case of the feed of PSB and baker's yeast docosahexaenoic acid $(C_{22:6\omega3})$ did not show. In amino acid analysis, the rotifer fed on Erthrobacter sp, $S\;\pi-I$ showed more amino acid content comparing to those fed on other diets. Especially, arginine, isoleucine, histidine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, which are essential amino acid for fish growth, showed high contents. These results suggested that the aerobic photosynthetic bacterium, Erythrobacter sp. $S\;\pi-I$ would be a beneficial microbial teed for the cultivation of rotifer.
