The subject of the study was a self-written questionnaire survey of 170 nursing care workers at 28 home-based elderly welfare centers in Seoul, and 150 copies were collected and 133 people were finally analyzed excluding 17 unscrupulous responses. As a result of the study, first, the average value of turnover intention was high in the group with low experience of female caregivers at home-based elderly welfare centers and the group without religion. Second, the higher the job stress of nursing care workers, the higher the intention of turnover. Third, there was a moderating effect of self-elasticity between the job stress and the of turnover of nursing care workers. Therefore, it was necessary to consider measures to prevent job stress of nursing caregivers and improve self-resilience.

In the design stage, education topics, educational content, and educational methods were selected for the program. A video was produced centered on eight themes. In the development stage, a system for education was developed, and each topic was uploaded. In the implementation stage, the program was applied to 30 care workers, and a questionnaire was administered. In the program's final evaluation, there was a significant difference in infection control knowledge (t=3.06, p=.005), and there was no significant difference in infection control performance. Conclusion: In this study, the necessary topics were finally selected by quantitatively and qualitatively analyzing the educational needs of care workers taking care of the elderly in long-term care facilities. It is necessary to understand the long-term effect and the degree of performance of the observation method in the future.

  • In the materialistic societies, individuals get money return according to the importance of their roles. But unlike wage workers who are engaged in market production , housewives engaged in home production do not get that return. It is because the result of home production is not transacted in the market and the price is not given to it, so the value of home production is not estimated. Hence this study trcognizes again the value of home production, suggests the estimation methods of it in input and output based on home production systems and attempts to actualize those methods socially. This home production develops the human attributes of family members to act as a member of a society and potentially contributes to home income and Gross National Products, so it has social and economic value. In spite of that significance, the value of home production is not estimated, so its nor recognized and housewives engaged in home production are not acknowledged their ability. Hence based on home production systems form input to output, this study suggested opportunity cost method and market cost method in input, method by saving money expenditure, hybrid method and method by comparing with market in output.

  • The purposes of this study were firstly to reveal the sub-dimensions of time management behaviors and secondly to group workers by time management behaviors. The major findings of this study were as follows. (1)Factor analysis of the 36 items on the time management behaviors instrument revealed three components: factor planning, relations-intention, and urgency. (2)Workers were categorized into four types by the level of those three factors of time management behaviors: 'accomplishment type'($28.31\%$), 'chronic-urgency type'($24.39\%$), 'valuing-job type'($23.73\%$) and 'valuing-human relations type'($23.57\%$). (3)The accomplishment type gained the highest points on the time management satisfaction score, and the level of important${\cdot}$non-urgencies was the highest score, indicating that the accomplishment type had good time management. However, the level of unimportant${\cdot}$urgencies was the highest score. Therefore, this type should try to reduce the level of unimportant${\cdot}$urgencies.

  • This paper studies how COVID-19 has affected the labor market in Korea through a general equilibrium model with multiple industries and occupations. In the model, workers are allocated to one of many occupations in an industry, and industrial or occupational shocks alter the employment structure. I calibrate the model with Korean data and identify industrial and occupational shocks, referred to here as COVID-19 shocks, behind the employment dynamics in 2020 and 2021. I find that COVID-19 shocks are more severe for those with jobs with a higher risk of infection and in those that are more difficult to do from home. Interestingly, the relationship between COVID-19 shocks and infection risk weakened as the pandemic progressed, whereas the relationship between COVID-19 shocks and easiness of work-from-home strengthened. I interpret the results as meaning that the pandemic may direct future technological changes to replace tasks that require contact-intensive steps, and I simulate the impact of such technological changes through the lens of the model. The results show that such technological changes will lower the demand for manual workers compared to the demands for other occupations. This contrasts with the earlier trend of job polarization, where manual workers continued to increase their employment share, with the share of routine workers secularly declining at the same time.

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the anthropometry, serum lipid levels, dietary behavior and health-related behaviors of shipbuilding workers. The education level was significantly higher in office workers than laborers, while age, monthly income and working years were not significantly different between both groups. The serum triglyceride, glucose concentration and AI were significantly higher in office workers than in laborers, but the serum LDL-cholesterol and HDL-cholesterol concentrations were significantly higher in laborers than in office workers. The frequency of breakfast and coffee intake was significantly higher in office workers than in laborers. In the office workers, age was positively correlated with systolic blood pressure but was negatively correlated with hemoglobin and hematocrit concentration In the laborers, working year was negatively correlated with hemoglobin, total cholesterol and serum LDL-cholesterol concentrations. Exercise was negatively correlated with total cholesterol concentration, triglyceride and LDL-cholesterol concentration and AI in the office workers. The results of this study showed that office workers are more prone to related chronic degenerative diseases. Therefore, nutritional education for the provention of chronic degenerative diseases of shipbuilding workers needs to be more focused on improving the health status of office workers.
