대형 고속프레스의 유한요소해석을 통한 진동 및 소음에 대한 연구 (A Study on Vibration and Noise through Finite Element Analysis of Large High Speed Press)

  • The electric vehicle market is developing rapidly around the world. Also, parts of electric vehicles require precision.In order to produce high-precision motor cores,Press equipment must also have good precision. Drive motor cores are an important technology for electric vehicles. It uses a large high-speed press to mass-produce drive motor cores. Because it's a large high-speed press, there are many reasons why the precision is not good. One of the causes is vibration and noise. Recently, as environmental demands have become stricter, regulations on noise and vibration have been strengthened. It is important for press machines to reduce vibration first for sound insulation and dust proofing. This is because the "breakthrough" phenomenon occurs in the press. Dynamic precision is the precision under the load of the press, Design considering strain and stiffness shall be made. Vibration and noise may occur due to SPM of high-speed press,And vibration and noise can cause structural deformation of the press. Structural deformation of the press can affect the precision of the product.Noise and vibration also cause problems for workers and work environments. Problems with vibration and noise occur during press processing, and vibration and noise lead to damage to the mold or defects in the product. Reliability in high-quality technology must be secured with low noise and low vibration during press processing. Modular shape and deformation energy effects were analyzed through finite element analysis. In this study, a study on vibration and noise countermeasures was conducted through finite element analysis of a large high-speed press.

  • The EV electric vehicle market is growing rapidly worldwide. An electric vehicle means a vehicle that uses energy charged through an electricity source as power. The precision of the press is important to mass-produce the drive motor, which is a key component of the electric vehicle. The size of the driving motor is increasing, and The size of the mold is also growing. In this study, the precision of large high-speed presses for mass production of driving motors was measured. A study was conducted on the measurement method of press and the analysis of measurement data. A drive motor is a component that transmits power by converting electrical energy into kinetic energy. EV driven motors have key material properties to improve efficiency. The material properties are the thickness of the material. As a method for improving performance, use a 0.2mm thin steel sheet. Mold is also becoming larger. As the mold grows, the size of the high-speed press for mass production of the driving motor is also increasing. Also, the precision of the press is the most important because it uses a thin iron plate material. So the importance of large press precision is being emphasized.   • Ultra-thin sheet metal forming techniques are required in precision forming of miniaturized and integrated products. In order to manufacture a good quality and low cost ultra-thin sheet metal products, a highly precise high-speed press is needed. The precision of a press is related with its vibration characteristics during pressing operation. This study evaluated the vibration characteristics of a proposed press design using computer simulation. The analysis compares the static deformation characteristics of the slide and the slide motion for the metal forming of an ultra-thin sheet of thickness less than 0.1mm. Further, in order to minimize the vibrations during high speed pressing operation, revolution balances of the eccentric shaft and the balance weight device is also considered. Finally, modal analysis is used to characterize the natural frequency of vibration of the press.

  • Laminate products for motor core are developed with a structure in which the importance of quality level and clamping force is influenced by the recent performance and safety of the product. It has been confirmed that the accuracy of the mold is emphasized, and that the accuracy of the tightening force produced by the stacked product for the motor core is greatly influenced by the change in the bottom dead center displacement of the aged high speed press. The reason why setting the mold, and test the effect of bottom dead center of high speed press is to improve product pull force in embossing process at mold. We have applied the system to minimize the effect on the damping displacement under the dynamical degree of the equipment by applying the emboss complement device which can test the influence and complement in the process.

  • Eddy current effect in a high speed rotor suspended by a mangnetic bearing is invstigated using electromagnetic field analysis technique. The non-zero conductivity model of a laminated rotor sleeve is proposed to concern electrical shorting of laminates due to rub, handling or press fit assembly,et al. As the rotating speed increase, the distibution of magnetic flux line is changed and the magnetic forces decrease remarkably. ANSYS Magnetics (version 5.3) is used for the magnetic field analysis.

  • Weather strip is a functional component of a car body and doors for leaking protection, isolating outside noise and vibration reduction. Insert metal inserted to the weather strip plays a key role to keep the shape of the weather strip and increase its strength. Insert metal is mainly produced by a press process, which has low productivity and 40% material loss due to the scraps. To solve the problems, a high-speed rolling process for manufacturing the insert metal of weather strip is being attempted. In this study, the insert metal is manufactured by a high-speed rolling process, and its process variables: reduction, relative velocity of rollers and the number of passes, are optimized by using the FEA and the actual tests. The prototype was manufactured by the optimal process.

  • There are being a lot of studies for achievement of high speed Dehydration, high-strength and Lightweight of washing machine in the latest washing machine business. It is essential that strength of mechanical press-Joining (MPJ) for spin drum is improved to attain that target. MPJ of spin drum is composed of seaming and caulking process. Because Seaming process of MPJ has various design factors such as thickness, bending radius, seaming width, caulking press width and the dynamic factor such as multistage plastic working, elastic recovery, residual stress, the optimum conditions can't be easily determined. Using a design of experiment (DOE) based on the FEM (Finite Element Method), which has several advantages such as less computing, high accuracy performance and usefulness, this study was performed investigating the interaction effect between the various design factor as well as the main effect of the each design factor during drum MPJ and proposed optimum condition using center composition method among response surface derived from regression equation of simulation-based DOE.

고속철도용 차륜과 차축의 파괴역학적 특성 (Fracture Mechanics Characteristics of Wheel and Axle For High Speed Train)

  • Railway wheel and axle is the most critical components in railway system. A wheel and axle failure can cause a derailment with its attendant loss of life and property. The service conditions of railway vehicles have become severe in recent years due to a general increase in operating speeds. Therefore, more precise evaluate of wheelset strength and safety has been desired. Fracture mechanics characteristics such as dynamic fracture toughness, fatigue threshold and charpy impact energy with respect to the tread, plate, disc hole of wheel and the surface of press fitted axle are evaluated. This paper describes the difference of fracture toughness, fatigue crack growth and fatigue threshold at the locations of wheel and axle. The results show that the dynamic fracture toughness, $K_{ID}$, is obviously lower than static fracture toughness, $K_{IC}$ and the fracture mechanics characteristics are difference to the location of wheel tread and hole.
