유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 아동기 모애착이 양육행동에 미치는 영향: 성인애착과 결혼만족도의 매개효과 (The Effects of Childhood Maternal Attachment on the Parenting Behavior of Mothers with Preschoolers: The Mediating Effects of Adult Attachment and Marital Satisfaction)

  • The aim of this study was to explore the mediating effects of adult attachment and marital satisfaction on the relationship between childhood maternal attachment and parenting behavior. A total of 372 mothers of preschoolers completed questionnaires on childhood maternal attachment, adult attachment, marital satisfaction, and parenting behavior. Adult attachment was analyzed by distinguishing between attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance. Parenting behavior was categorized into positive and negative behaviors. For the main analyses, Preacher and Hayes's PROCESS macro program was used to examine serial mediating effects. The results revealed that attachment anxiety mediated the effects of mothers' childhood attachment experiences on both positive and negative parenting behavior. However, attachment avoidance only mediated the effects on positive parenting behavior. Marital satisfaction mediated the effects of mothers' childhood attachment experiences on both positive and negative parenting behavior. Notably, the sequential mediating effects of attachment anxiety and marital satisfaction were not significant for either positive or negative parenting behavior. By contrast, the sequential mediating effects of attachment avoidance and marital satisfaction were significant for both positive and negative parenting behavior. These findings elucidate the predictive factors for parenting behavior within a process model framework, providing valuable insights for parental education and counseling aimed at enhancing mothers' parenting practices.

  • 본 연구는 노인의 성공적 노화와 기본심리욕구의 관계에서 자아통합감과 문화역량의 이중매개 효과와 지혜의 조절된 매개효과를 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상자는 2020년 6월부터 2021년 3월까지 J도, S 특별시, D 광역시에 소재한 14개의 노인복지센터와 노인종합대학을 정기적으로 이용하는 60세 이상 노인 211명이었다. 자료수집은 자가 보고식 설문지를 사용하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS/WIN 23.0 Program과 SPSS PROCESS MACRO을 활용하여 Hayes의 6번과 91번 모델로 분석하였다. 연구 결과 기본심리욕구와 성공적 노화의 관계에서 자아통합감과 문화역량이 이중 매개하여 성공적 노화에 영향을 미쳤으며, 자아통합감과 문화역량을 지혜가 조절 매개하여 성공적 노화에 영향을 주었다. 그러므로 기본심리욕구충족을 위한 노력과 지혜에 따른 자아통합감과 문화역량 강화를 위한 노인복지정책과 전략개발이 요구된다.

부모의 방임이 청소년의 또래애착에 미치는 영향: 성인용 매체 몰입의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effects of Parental Neglect on Adolescent's Peer Attachment : Focusing the Mediating Effect of Adult Media Immersion)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 부모의 방임이 청소년의 또래애착에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 그리고 이 둘 간에 성인용 매체몰입이 매개효과를 가지고 있는지를 규명하는 데에 있다. 이러한 연구목적의 달성을 위해서 제6차(2015년) 한국 아동 청소년패널조사(Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey: KCYPS)의 중1패널을 활용하여 분석하였다. 총 563명을 대상으로 Hayes가 개발한 SPSS PROCESS Macro를 활용하여 부트스트래핑(bootstrapping)을 통해 매개효과의 유의미성을 살펴보았다. 연구결과 첫째, 부모의 방임이 증가할수록 또래애착은 낮아지는 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 성인용 매체몰입은 부모의 방임과 또래애착을 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 통한 실천적 함의는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년들의 건강한 또래관계 형성을 위해서는 가정 내에서의 부모의 관심과 애정이 필요하다. 둘째, 청소년들이 성인용 매체몰입을 예방하기 위한 부모교육의 중요성이다. 셋째, 청소년들을 대상으로 하는 성인용 매체 교육이 절실히 필요하다.

대학생을 대상으로 한 마음챙김과 정서조절의 관계에서 지각된 통제의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effect of Perceived Control on the Relationship between the Mindfulness and Emotional Regulation in University Students)

  • 마음챙김은 정서조절을 위한 기법의 하나로 활용되고 있다. 정서조절에 있어서 마음챙김은 부정정서 경험을 줄이거나 제거하려고 시도하기보다 현재의 경험을 있는 그대로 관찰한다는 점에서 비통제적인 방식으로 분류한다. 그러나 본 연구에서는 마음챙김이 정서조절에 영향을 미치는데 있어서 지각된 통제를 통해 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 확인하고자 한다. 이를 확인하고자 지각된 통제가 마음챙김과 정서조절의 관계에서 매개효과를 가지는가를 검증하였다. 이를 위해 대학생 366명(남 179명, 여 187명)을 대상으로 마음챙김, 지각된 통제, 정서조절 곤란 척도를 사용하여 설문 조사하였고, Hayes의 PROCESS macro를 사용하여 매개분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 마음챙김과 정서조절 곤란의 관계에서 지각된 통제가 완전매개효과를 지닌 것으로 나타났다. 이 결과는 마음챙김이 지각된 통제를 통해 정서조절에 영향을 미치는 것을 의미한다.

모의 과보호가 중학생 자녀의 우울증상에 미치는 영향: 기본심리욕구의 매개효과 (The Effects of Mothers' Overprotection on Adolescents' Depressive Symptoms: The Mediating Effects of Adolescents' Basic Psychological Needs)

  • Objective: This study aimed to examine the mediating effects of male and female adolescents' basic psychological needs (i.e., autonomy, competence, and relatedness) in the relationship between mothers' overprotection and adolescents' depressive symptoms. Methods: The participants included 292 middle school students (52.7% girls) living in Gyeonggi. Correlation analysis, t-test, and PROCESS macro by Hayes (2013) were performed using the SPSS 22.0 software. Results: Adolescents' autonomy and relatedness showed a significant mediating role between mothers' overprotection and depressive symptoms in all adolescents. In the case of male adolescents, only autonomy showed a significant mediating effect between mothers' overprotection and depressive symptoms. Conclusion: Both mothers overprotection and adolescents' autonomy and relatedness should be considered to understand the development of depressive symptoms. The result also indicated that gender is an important factor when understanding the mediating role of basic psychological needs between mothers' overprotection and adolescents' depressive symptoms.

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effect of teacher-child emotional, verbal, and behavioral interactions on the relationship between teacher playfulness and children's peer abilities. Methods: The research method used the questionnaire method to collect data on 420 children aged 3-5 years old, targeting 108 homeroom teachers working at early childhood education institutions located in Seoul and Gyeonggi area. The collected data was analyzed using the IBM SPSS 23.0 statistical program and the PROCESS macro of Hayes (2013). Results: This study confirmed that teachers' verbal, emotional, and physical interactions are closely related to young children's peer competence. In addition, it was confirmed that the teacher's playability is an important variable that affects not only the emotional, verbal, and physical interactions between the teacher and the infant, but also the peer competence of young children. Conclusion/Implications: The results of this study have significance as basic data that suggests that it is necessary to improve the playability of teachers and increase the quality level of the multifaceted aspects of teacher-infant interaction in order to support young children's peer competence.

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the sequential mediating effects of self-esteem and positive peer play interaction between warmth parenting and the social competence of preschoolers. Methods: The 7th wave of the Panel Study on Korean Children(2014) was used to analyze 1,113 preschoolers. Sequential mediation effects were analyzed using SPSS Process Macro(Hayes, 2013). Results: Warmth parenting indirectly affected preschooler's social competence (cooperation, assertion, self-control) by yielding sequential mediation effects on self-esteem and peer play interaction. Namely, warmth parenting does not directly affect social competence but does have a significant effect on preschooler self-esteem, which positively affected peer play interaction. This path increases the social competence(cooperation, assertion, self-control) of preschool children. Conclusion/Implications: In order to increase the social competence (cooperation, assertion, self-control) of preschool children, it is important for the preschooler to consider themselves a worthy person and to learn positive interaction techniques through warmth parenting.

Does Perceived Organizational Politics Mediate the Relationship between Job Satisfaction and Organizational Citizenship Behavior? Insights from Bangladesh

  • Purpose: This study mainly aims to investigate the connection between job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior of bank employee. Another objective of this study is to check out the mediating impact of perceived organizational politics of bank personnel on the connection between their job happiness and citizenship behavior. Research design, data and methodology: Snowball sampling is utilized in this study, which is done among bank personnel at different public and private banks across north-eastern region of Bangladesh as well as information is accumulated through the use of a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire. IBM SPSS v22, Andrew F. Hayes process macro v3.5 and SmartPLS 3 are used to complete descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: The study results explore that employees' political perception has a negative influence on organizational citizenship behavior where bank employees' job happiness has a positive impact on structural citizenship manners and negative impact on perceived organizational politics. Surprisingly, perceptions of organizational politics were found to have an insignificant mediating effect on the connection between job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior. Conclusions: The present study reveals that satisfied bank personnel shows positive and constructive actions toward their organization where their political perception has an insignificant mediation.

부모의 심리적 통제가 청소년의 비자살적 자해에 미치는 영향에 대한 우울의 매개 효과 (Does Parental Psychological Control Affect Non-Suicidal Self-Injury of Adolescents via Depression?)

  • This study aimed to examine the effect of parental psychological control on adolescents' non-suicidal self-injury and verify whether this effect is mediated by depression. In the first survey of 647 middle and high school students, only those who had experiences of non-suicidal self-injury were selected (136 adolescents). For data analysis purposes, descriptive statistics for each measured variable and Pearson's correlation coefficients among research variables were calculated. In addition, Process Macro - Model 4 by Hayes (2013) was used to investigate the mediating model. Finally, the bootstrapping method was applied to confirm the significance of the mediating effect. The results of this study were as follows. First, parental psychological control and depression directly affected the frequency of non-suicidal self-injury among adolescents. Second, depression mediated the relationship between parental psychological control and non-suicidal self-injury. In conclusion, the more parents controlled their children's psychological factors, the higher the level of depression among adolescents, and as a result, the higher the frequency of non-suicidal self-injury. These findings suggest that educational intervention on parental psychological control is important to prevent and reduce non-suicidal self-injury; however, psychotherapy intervention that reduces the levels of depression should also be required.

  • Background: The aim of the study is to examine whether mediating or moderating effects of stress between teachers' work environment and work-related musculoskeletal disorders. Methods: Two hundred nine participants took part in the study and completed the surveys including work environment, stress and work-related musculoskeletal disorders questionnaires. Hayes's PROCESS macro was used to test the research models for mediating and moderating effects of stress between work environment with teachers and work-related musculoskeletal disorders. Indirect effect was tested using bootstrapped confidence intervals. Results: The result confirmed that Stress served as a indirect mediator between work environment and work-related musculoskeletal disorders, whereas there was no significant the moderating effect. Conclusion: Stress mediates the relationship between work environment and work-related musculoskeletal disorders. Therefore, it is crucial that teachers' work environment that increases stress should be enhanced to reduce work-related musculoskeletal disorders.
