  • The project of Education information is promoted to maximize the efficiency of Teaching-Learning at schools. So Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development develops and spreads the Computer Assisted Instruction(CAI) and outstanding Educational Software to help learners who can utilize this software and make learning environment to form their own recognition. As the number of this software is increased, the necessity of management of Educational Software is required. This study divides Educational Software into three kinds, teaching-learning software, business management software, and system management software, and suggests how to use these softwares effectively according to this division. After the users log into the system through joining members, they are divided into manager module, teachers module, and students module. The manager manages all software like registration, revision, reference of date and so on. The teacher accesses properly. The student accesses teaching-learning software and prepares and reviews his lessons at any time.

  • This research was carried out in order to develop and validate the Korean Version of Working Relationship Scale for Mentally Disabled Persons, which measures the working relationship between a mentally disabled person and his or her case manager. The first step taken to develop this scale was to construct sample items for the Working Relationship Scale using literature research and three focus group interviews of mentally disabled persons who use local mental health services. Secondly, mentally disabled people were surveyed with these sample items and two professors from the department of social work who specialize in mental health social work and two licensed mental health social workers working in the community mental health field reviewed these sample items to select and compile a final version of the scale. Lastly, the scale's reliability and validity was verified through an empirical study of 569 mentally disabled persons who surveyed the final selection of items. An explanatory factor analysis showed that the sample items can be grouped into three factors. Factor 1 is 'Professional Contribution Factor,' which is related to the professional practice of the case manager; Factor 2 is 'Negative Working Relationship Factor'; and Factor 3 is 'Emotional Bond Factor,' which measures the intimacy between the case manager and the mentally disabled person. A confirmatory analysis of the three-factor format that was discovered in the explanatory factor analysis was carried out with the rest of the randomly divided data, which showed that the model demonstrated a goodness-of-fit. The convergence validity between similar concepts appeared to be appropriate as well. Based on these results, the Korean Version of Working Relationship Scale for Mentally Disabled Persons consisting of a final 33 items is developed and proposed and its implications in social work are discussed.

The results were as follows: 1. The job characteristice of crown bridge laboratory part and porcelain laboratory part similar to each other. Also partial denture laboratory part and complete denture laboratory part were similar to each other. But that of orthodontic laboratory part was different from other. 2. the degree of job cognition made significant difference statisfically according to job characteristics of each dental laboratorise. 3. • This study explains about a phenomenon where the structure of the compensation plan for a single salesperson may vary as he/she gains experience. Unlike past studies that implicitly assume the limited effect on salesperson's experience, our result predicts that a salesperson will make an effort at every period early in his/her career without any commissions in order to gain experience. However, if one cannot expect any marginal returns of accumulated efforts, the sales manager must provide commissions on the high volume of sales at each period, to facilitate a high effort of a salesforce at earlier periods. Our paper provides important implications about dynamics in the compensation plan, which has not been addressed in the past studies but has frequently been witnessed in practice.

  • It is generally recommended to use EVM as an efficient means for measuring project performance and progress so that the EVMS user could manage his project successfully. In spite of it's favorable intention, most project participants think it as a heavy load or a sub practiced job with low responsibility. Especially in a weapon system R&D project, the manager should consider a possibility to change plans in the middle of the project because of uncertainty coming from properties of the R&D project. Even though there are lots of variables triggering unpredictable troubles in EVM application, EVM still could be a valuable project health indicator. In this paper we introduce a case study of EVM application for weapon system development project. Furthermore, we suggest several solutions for the issues occurring in utilizing EVM.

  • There are some factors which cause the profits from the production to be decreased or increased. They are, for example, the rise in efficiency of production facilities resulting from the development of the scientific technique, the changes of purchase price of those, and the drop in efficiency of those owing to there long-term operation. In this connection, an manager can get the highest profit by deciding the proper time of new facilities replacement for those in operation or in being planned, which leads to good management planning of his manufactaring business for a given period or a long time. Main purpose of this is the study of how we decide the optimal time or facilities replacement in order to maximize the total profits for a given period by considering them as continous function as to the time in the case where a machineng is set. The results are following: 1. The definition of profit function is in duced in consideration of the breakdowns caused from continous operation of the machinery. 2. The necessary conditions are obtained for the optimal time of replacement and find out the methods of its solution. 3. Comparing between the 'Short cut' method and method in this paper, we obtained that our method is more realistic.

  • The construction industry highly depends on each specialized manager which is essential to successful project. However, a new employee, who has just graduated from architectural engineering college, is requested additional education for 1~2 years such as On-the-Job-Training (O.J.T) to perform his/her professional job in construction site. It is wasteful for both construction company and the employee in terms of time and cost. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the required abilities and analyze the gap of demanded abilities between field managers and students. To collect data for analysis, questionnaire which uses Likert Scale has been performed to both parts. As a result, the analysis show that the graduate's abilities related to field experience get especially low degrees in compare with non-field experience factors. These results will contribute architectural engineering education in college to make more realized.

  • J. Zhou et al. proposed a new public-key framewort in which the maximum lifetime of a certificate is divided into short periods and the certificate could be expired at the end of any period under the control of the certificate owner(or his manager in a corporate environment). However, J. Zhou et al.'s public-key framework is not suitable on implementation in real world. Therefore, we review some security Parameters to change them into more suitable ones for implementation and remove an unnecessary trust party of J. Zhou et al.'s public-key framework. Then, we propose an improved scheme for realistic solution. Moreover, we present a practical application based on the improved framework.

  • Fast food restaurants are growing in numbers in Korea since they were introduced abot a decade ago. To develop an effective marketing strategy for fast foods, it is important to assess consumer's acceptability and identify demorgraphic, environmental, and managerial factors which influence consumer's perception on the fast food restaurants. A total of 595 customers were surveyed at thirty hamburger chain restaurants in Seoul from November 7 to 15, 1988. Analyses of the collected data revealed that adolescents, females, and the people with high income were the major customers and visited more than once or twice a week; frequent visitors rated meals more favorably in terms of the quality, service and cleanliness, and they also rated meals of foreign brand more favorable than those of domestic one; the female group perceived the change in their dietary habits more than any other groups; cleanliness, convenience, atmosphere, courtesy, and the taste of foods were significant factors in purchasing fast foods; and customers were most satisfied with convenience, while least satisfied with the price and the quantity of foods. From these findings, it is sggested that the manager of the fast food restaurant must consider the consumer's perception of fast foods in terms of pros and cons in order to operate her/his restaurant successfully.
